Hi it’s Shamala me and my family had a fabulous experience at the photo shoot at venture studio,i had signed up on the bumptobaby app where i was offered the E-voucher thats how we heard about Venture studios and glad we did! Evelyn our photographer was absolutely great with my daughter’s, my toddler is usually clingy with her dad but seemed like she was very happy to see Evelyn, playing around her and giving smiles, Evelyn was very welcoming made us comfortable while we did the shoot,we all loved our photoshoot experience as it was our first time as a family, that’s why i got pretty white dresses for my daughters, then me and my husband came for the cinematic viewing was so overwhelming and emotional seeing the video shown and the photos, we loved it all, Beth was very nice explained to us all the packages they offer. We were not planning to buy the frames but after viewing our photos especially our daughters we couldn’t resist that we purchased the family sharing package and do not regret at all, Can’t wait for our three frames that we have chosen, the price is on the higher side but if you can afford it would definitely recommend as you have the pay monthly options and also can pay over a certain time if you can’t pay within the 6/12 months thank you for making our experience memorable venture studios.

We really enjoyed our photoshoot , despite having a grumpy baby on the day, Hannah managed to get some lovely shots! Going to see the pictures and the movie was fab and we were really impressed. The packages are expensive but reflect the time, effort and care and definitely worth it. Thanks to Hannah and Jo for a great experience x

We won a family photoshoot as part of a charity competition and I think we were all pleasantly surprised with the experience. None of us had ever had something similar so it was quite exciting, if a little awkward at first.
It was a little difficult to find the studio in the first place due to roadworks outside so the short video we were directed to on their Instagram page was very useful.
Given that there were 10 of us, Steph did an excellent job in coordinating us all and ensuring that there were a wide variety of picture combinations to chose from.
I do agree that the photo packages are a bit pricey, but you do very much pay for the time and skill of the photographer to edit and bring together the pictures in a high quality resolution that you cannot produce without the expert knowledge. If you think you can do better, then don't bother with professional pictures; but we have no regrets. There are also finance options available for those who are on a budget.
We would recommend this, if only for the laughs we had while doing it, and you can come as coordinated or relaxed as you like.

We had a newborn photoshoot with Steph at Venture Studios Birmingham. Steph was fantastic, really good with our son Mason and made us all feel very comfortable. The day went very smoothly and there are facilities for newborns. Steph is a very talented photographer and we are over the moon with how the photos turned out. We returned for the photo cinematic viewing yesterday with Beth, and we were so happy with the end result. Beth was very helpful in helping us choose the right package for us. Overall we would absolutely recommend!

hannah was amazing during our photography session with our newborn and dog! such beautiful photos! she is a very talented photographer and editor! we had such a wonderful experience, i would definitely recommend!

We had been with Venture studios before for a newborn shoot with our first child and really wanted to obtain a similar piece of wall art for our second baby.
This time round we went in with a 2 year old toddler and a newborn, a little more challenging. Our newborn was calm and cooperative, but our toddler was not that straightforward! Hannah and Steph have done an amazing job though, seizing the moments for good photos, playing along with the toddler, having a break, thinking out of the box, and being very patient throughout.
It all resulted in a nice set of wonderful pictures, true work of art, and we’ve got some beautiful keepsakes for our wall!
If we ever have more children, we will definitely come back again :)

Me and my carer Charlie came in for a photoshoot. I had a lovely time from start to finish, A couple weeks before the shoot we were called up by who i assume to be the booking director beth, as the email for “what you want for your shoot” was unfortunately missed as it was in my spam folder.

NEVER FEAR, Beth collected all my details for what I wanted for the shoot and vibe wise. Let me know about prices and all that jazz.

Before the shoot started we were offered a beverage, and led into the room by our photographer Taylor. We had a bunch of fun, brought props and had a laugh.

The viewing was lovely, for the viewing it was with beth. I feel like we met everyone whilst we were there lol and they were all very lovely

The photos were beautiful; we picked the gift share as were an online pair and that fit our tastes.

I will say it IS a little pricey, 900 odd pounds for the cheapest digital pack. HOWEVER, people MUST charge for their labour; and shoots plus editing isn’t easy and takes time to perfect the skill.

That being said its a luxury, but one you can choose not to get if you cant afford it.

Overall! Lovely experience, glad we did it!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Kelly our photographer made us feel very welcome and the photoshoot was not rushed at all and she was great with our baby. Our viewing experience was also great and Beth was amazing going through our options. Would really recommend venture studios

Amazing experience! Taylor made both me and my partner feel very comfortable throughout the whole shoot. The pictures came out beautiful and we had so many different styles to celebrate our engagement and other fun ones as well. Beth was very helpful with talking through all our options and showing us the finished results. They did a great job, Would definitely recommend!

Could not recommend venture studios enough! Had a voucher from cosatto for a photoshoot, Taylor was wonderful in the phone consultation and explained everything clearly so we knew what to expect. The shoot itself was magical and we felt so in control of what we wanted photos of. When it came to our viewing, Beth gave us our options and showed us the most wonderful video of our pictures and helped us choose the best options for our space.

A thoroughfully personalised approach to photography! All the staff at the Birmingham Venture Studios branch are full of the charism and vibe that I think we all need these days, with all what is happening in the world. A seemless transaction which I will most certainly recommend to others. Nothing was too much trouble. The resident pets are cute too!

The whole process start to finish was so friendly and made you feel at ease. Steph was an amazing photographer who captured brilliant images of our little girl (who is not one for smiling either) they just looked so natural and happy that when we came to view them we couldn't decide which ones to choose between. The video of all the photos put together for a private showing in the cinema room, was a lovely touch too. My son was unable to make it on the day due to not being able to get leave, but we will be choosing to go back to them to do the photoshoot including him, as I couldn't think of going anywhere else. Top quality!

We won a free shoot, had a great experience, and the pictures were amazing! We bought a package and couldn't wait. Unfortunately, due to a family disaster, we no longer wanted the pictures, after getting in touch, explaining our situation and explaining that we didn't want a refund, but no longer wanted the images, the team offered us a reshoot at no extra cost.
They couldn't have been more understanding or accommodating! We can't thank them enough, we love the new photos and we're so greatful!

We recently “won” a free photoshoot and a small framed image through an Instagram link. The studio experience itself was genuinely lovely — the team were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole session feel special. We had a great time and the photos were absolutely stunning.

However… be prepared for multiple in-person visits, as everything from viewing to ordering has to be done at the studio. And the pricing? Whew. Brace yourself. The cheapest package started at £945, with digital images alone quoted at £1,345. As much as we adored the photos, those prices were way out of our budget.

The staff did offer a payment plan, which helped, but it’s still a huge financial commitment. Also, the “free” photo prize feels a bit like a marketing tactic — it seems like everyone wins, and once you’ve seen the photos, it’s hard to walk away without buying something. To get a better deal, you even have to swap the free framed picture, which felt a bit cheeky.

Overall, the experience itself was lovely, the staff were great, and the photos are beautiful. But the prices are extremely high — especially in a cost-of-living crisis — and £1,345 for digital files only is a shock, considering the whole process is roughly 4–5 hours of work. More accessible pricing would make this a truly brilliant experience for more people.

From entering the studio everybody made us feel so welcome. The service is brilliant from ringing beforehand asking certain questions about what you would like done on this special day. Jordan took our photos and he was a superstar as my 5 year old Autistic boy is so hard to get a photo of but he made it so fun for our kids and us as well and didn't rush us. He prepped us about everything when we had our next visit to view the photos which was great and we can be organised too. Beth showed us all our photos when we went back and omg how beautiful they all was and she explained everything from all the packages as the booklets can be too much to understand. Everyone is just so helpful happy and makes you feel so comfortable. So glad we came and made memories with all you guys
