Not only do we now need to pay to drop friends and family at airports around the country it appears we also aren't allowed to stop to check where we should be without having to pay a fine. First time at East Midlands Airport retrieving kids that should have flown back to Gatwick. Following sat nav and with traffic behind panicked and entered the wrong lane. Stopped on a side road to try and work things out, off the main carriageway and next to a skip where there were no red lines, and a charming man (not) found great pleasure in telling me I would be receiving a fine. Not an ounce of compassion!

Appeal declined: The signs at the entrance to the East Midlands International Airport and the access roads within, clearly state "No Stopping", giving clear notice that the land is private property and that a Charge of £100 will be levied if vehicles do stop. The above detailed vehicle stopped in a zone where stopping is prohibited and the driver became liable to pay that Charge.
In your appeal you have confirmed to us that on the date in question, you stopped your vehicle on the access road, which is an area where stopping is not permitted.
A review of our CCTV evidence has confirmed that on the date in question, your vehicle stopped for an unreasonable amount of time on the access road where restrictions apply.

INTERESTINGLY the photos they sent cover less than a minute! TOTALLY unreasonable.

Along with many others it would seem, I received a demand of £100 for ignoring previous demands for non payment of a parking fine that I was not even aware of! No parking ticket left on my car, no previous communications until I got a FINAL DEMAND for ignoring previous communications ...YES, being fined for not paying a parking fine that I had not even received!
I appealed but was told my appeal was not granted, but they would down the £100 to £60 if I paid it...NO I am not...
I am not giving up. I have now gone to Trading Standards Appeal.

These people are liars and robbers. They never sent the first letter asking for £60 then asked for full payment of £100. It is despicable that these people are allowed to trade as a legit business

The company is a complete set of cowboys - I appealed against a ticket I was given for visiting my daughter in her apartment as I have done many times over the last two years. The notices they put up were new and from my point of view quite unexpected. I thought they were asking/warning unauthorised people not to park in the apartment car park. I did not have a permit as this was the first time I had visited her since the signs were erected. As my daughter was not at home I was unable to obtain a permit. They told me they would not/couldn't correspond with a hotmail address? And the appeal service responded with 'who visits someone when they at not in!! - very professional.
Apparently I could then appeal to another level but the information they provided was so confusing (purposely I guess) that I couldn't understand what to do. They are now threatening me with a CJJ and payment of £277.00. I am now going to try and find out what their complaint procedure is and take it from there. I also intend to write to the magistrate courts to shame this bunch and my MP

Received a PCN for stopping on a side road at the Leeds Bradford Airport. Explained that it was my first time at the airport and sat nav told me to turn left as I wanted to get to the Pick Up/Drop Off. After realising that it's a closed road, I had to quickly check the map and reversed straight away. There was nobody else behind or in front of me, so I quickly went back on the main road and told them to check the video footage, not just the picture. And to be honest I haven't seen any signage that I can't stop there even for few seconds ,as it was around 11:30 pm. They obviously didn't bother about my explanation, answered that there are enough signs and a helpline number that I can use if I get lost. I wonder how I was supposed to reverse without stopping and even if I wanted to use a helpline, I wouldn't be able to write down the number on the signage while driving...

Absolutely terrible company, has the audacity to penalty charge me for parking in my own bay, outside my flat.
If they actually gave a crap about who parks where, they would have a record of reg. plates vs bay numbers to check against, but they won't do that because they want to drain people of every penny they can get.

Not sure why I’m bothering as I guess this disreputable outfit doesn’t care about reviews. I was issued with a PCN on a side street I & colleagues had used for years with no problems.Appealed on the grounds of unclear signage, no response but company insisted they emailed me. Meant I missed the deadline for appeal to the IAS. Colleagues who did had their charges dropped but they’re pursuing mine. Impossible to appeal or communicate with them now so just spreading the joy …

these are scamer i was given a ticket at my own address thye employed by the council to milk money from the tenants thugs life and God will punish them

I recently called them and they asked me to double check an email and they put the phone down. I then call back in and the person was soooooh rude and brusk and conducted herself in a manner that I thought no company would support.

My disabled daughter had a problem on route back to the car park that caused us to return to the vehicle 30 minutes late. The appeal was dismissed simply because they had signs promoting the ‘rules’ for everyone to see. Uncaring, unkind and ignorant to the needs of families when there is a genuine problem. Disgraceful company

We run a company that responds to water utility emergencies, on this occasion there was a rising main sewer emergency near to Doncaster,we sent a couple of vac tankers to collect the excess product and transfer it to a treatment plant,now we have to park close to the broken sewer to collect the material, this happened to be in a car park covered by these tossers, naturally enough we received several tickets to which we appealed as the work is after all an emergency, but then you are only out to make money, so every little helps.

Worst customer service I have ever came across, don’t respond to emails, they make it extremely difficult to talk to some one by phone. Increased a fine whilst I was waiting for a email response and then they sent the follow up letter to the wrong address. Finally when I did get email response they didn’t acknowledge the facts and then finished off with saying we will not respond any further.

Thieves are the lowest of the low but vehicle control services Ltd make them look like saints.

Worst company EVER!!!

Was told by the job centre on innovation park Liverpool I was ok to park outside there job centre and I received two PCN at a £100 each or £60 if paid in 14 days , I got one notice in November and it was from February and the other was from July tried to ring them on general inquiries but was directed to payment line and rang direct number off Google and by surprise no answer after ringing for over an hour waiting for them to answer so nobody in the office and a total waist of time and effort. This firm needs investigation in to the on goings , and do they have an office I wonder seems a bit dodgy to me .-10/10 for professionality ( SCUM IF YOU ASK ME ) RAY

The telephone operator was extremely rude to me a person clearly in distressed state! They were almost making fun of me and mocking me while telling me how he wanted to issue more fines to me and take more of my money. Not a nice company to deal with at all

I parked in a parking bay which they deemed wasn't an official parking bay and issued me with a ticket...my appeal complete with photographic evidence was rejected, Leeds Bradford airport would not get involved at all even though it is their property not VCS's. I didn't want the hassle of taking it further which they say would have cost me 3 times the amount if I wasn't succesful. A completely immoral company that won't get another chance to rip me off.

I am not surprised they have got this many bad reviews. They dont care. Money is all they are concerned with. Nothing else.
Had broken down on the side of the road. Their van and employee asked me to move. I told her what happened and she said move as soonvas you can. I have now received a notice.from them. Tried to reply to the number they gave. But all options to tell them what happened direct to payments.

Had no idea you changed the car park limit from 3 hours, to 2, thanks guys 👍

They persuaded my partner to appeal and then said no and slapped her with a £170 fine to cover the costs.

It's sad to see how many people have had to deal with these cowboys! The people that work there are cold and calculated and just throw any excuse to force you to pay, there is no reasoning with them because at the end of the day they have one job, and that's to squeeze whatever they can out of you .
