As a single female that booked my taxi 12 hours ago they then at the last minute stated there was no taxi for me. I am in the middle of nowhere hence why I prebooked taxi how is that for safety of lone female'

My phone call was answered promptly. I was spoken to efficiently and politely with my request repeated back to me. I received confirmation of my booking to my phone with the message that I would be informed once the driver was on his way. I was informed of the registration, colour, make of car, which arrived on time. The car was immaculate inside and out and the driver smart and polite. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Enough is enough. I scheduled a taxi for 8am this morning. I checked at 8am and my job had just been assigned to a nearby driver. Technically he would have been here after the time I had booked but he was on the way, so I dashed out to meet him. After five minutes I checked the app to see that I had no driver. Yet again a Veezu driver had cancelled on me, either because he had accepted the job without realising it meant travelling across the city, or he had something better (or better paying) nearby. So I waited on the street and after a couple of minutes another driver was assigned. This one was some distance away and wouldn't be with me for 10 minutes. My 8am booking would now be arriving at least 15 minutes later. I wait, and check again. No driver. Yet again he has cancelled mid route. A couple more minutes pass. Another driver is assigned. this one is 10 minutes away. I would now be collected 20 minutes after my booking. No. Enough is enough. I am tired of Veezu drivers getting away with accepting jobs and then binning them off. I once stood outside my place of work and waited for a driver who had clearly accepted my job whilst he was still in his house. He was still there 10 minutes later when I cancelled. Does Veezu have no way of collecting data from drivers who do this? Are they not censured for it? Are jobs withheld from them for a period? Clearly not, otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it. Enough is enough. My account is deleted and the app has been removed from my phone.

Booked a taxi gave the pick up address with postcode and then the address of the destination, anyway recieved a text alerting us that the taxi was outside and the car it was with the reg, however to cut a long story short, nowhe1re to be seen, rang and pressed the option to speak to the driver, and he claimed he was outside, by this time we are stood outside in the middle of the road, and he was getting rather agitated, more or less insinuating that he was in the correct place and we wasn't.. we then called again and was told we had 14 seconds to get to the taxi... anyways we had to walk rather a way to get to him, obviously he must not have used sat nav as he would have been outside our door.
Communication barrier between the both of us didn't help.
was clear he didn't have any idea about hull as we had to keep telling him where to go, he had to turn around at one point as he had gone the wrong way... terrible service, and expensive also, considering he didn't even pick us up at the address we booked. Would not use again.

I use Veezu instead of Uber and have done so now for over 6 months in both the Cardiff and Bristol areas. The drivers can often be the same but the fare is cheaper (than Uber) and the driver gets more than they would with Uber (Uber can take as much as 50% of the fare). This alone is important. We are now in a economy where people pay more and are getting paid less and companies like Uber are aggressively based on that model.

Veezu is fairer. It's better for drivers and customers. This is not just the direct services - it's so their wider MO. With Veezu I don't get tricked into a BS Uber One membership that doesn't really give anyone preferential prices anyway (and where it takes a gigantic effort to cancel). With Veezu, I don't have a crappy aggressive AI Bot to wrangle with (but with Uber, one does) if there's an issue. With Veezu things are easy and far fairer.

Given how veezu works I'm really surprised to see an overall score that's less than 4. But I wouldn't be surprised if Uber set a load of AI bots to fill bad reviews of any competitors. Uber sucks.

Veezu is way better than Uber.

A trip to and from the local hospital, the outward jorney at 2pm cost £5.70 but the return was £6.45 due to a surcharge being applied between 2.30pm and 5pm. Asked the driver and was told the operator had instigated this recently due to high demand. This bearing in mind that the taxi arrived a minute after me me phoning for it.. Spoke to an operator who said that this had been implemented 2 weekd ago due to high demand during this period of time(high demand =more taxi fare so they are just cashing in when someone needs a taxi during this time span) Nothing on their website a complete con job by this company

Taxi arrived 20 minutes late, then went the long way to my place of work,.making me more than 30 mins late.

Absolute rip off in Sheffield, fares have gone up £3 over most journeys, Come back City Taxis all is forgiven

Prebooked a car over 2 weeks before an event, but on the night they told me there were no cars avaiable. My car showed up 2 hours and 15mins late. The driver was also the same car we saw going back and forwards claiming he was here for uber to a different name. When a Veezu marked car showed up, he then said he didnt have any bookings and refused to drive me home also. In the end had to find another way home . Called for a refund and got told to fill out and online form only

We pre-booked a return taxi back to our hotel from an event for 6 adults in Swindon. The cab was booked for 2355hrs on 11/07/2026 and finally turned up after receiving 4 lies on the phone from different receptionists, and calling three times without anyone answering. They are a disgrace. All 6 adults concerned are mid-sixties and above.

I've used Veezu 3 times now. On at least 2 bookings i've been charged the tip twice even though its only on the receipt once... now I'm having to dispute these nominal amounts. I won't be using veezu again

Told me I had a taxi coming,I rang again to be told they still don’t have a driver and that I’ve been put on top priority… even though the text said that one was on its way and I’d paid for it!! Now have to wait a few days for my money back and having to try another taxi firm.

Journey was accepted, with a 2 minute collection. This then jumped between 4-10 mins
Calling the driver he was picking up other fairs. After 30 mins of calling the control centre and multiple disconnects from the driver we managed to cancel.

Shocking service

This company has passed my personal information to a third party.

Family of 5 pre booked 10 days previous for Friday due to arrive for 2:20 pick off to airport after repeating calling telling me taxi was on its way they cancelled the taxi at 3pm leaving us stranded. Terrible customer service have requested return of funds I would not recommend Veezu Luton avoid avoid avoid

I prebooked a taxi for 8am to get me to the train station for a 9am train two weeks in advance even though it was only a 10-15 minute journey. 8:30 rolls around and no taxi driver has even been assigned. I get on the phone and I’m told the next available taxi won’t be until 8:55. Luckily uber was able to get me there in time, but I have to ask what the point of prebooking is if they can’t/won’t honour them.

Appalling. Booked 3 days in advance for 8.40 am to catch train at 9.15. At 8.39 I was stood outside and the app stated the car was on next street 1 minute away. This changed and said it was 15 minutes away. I phoned Veezu and all they could say was the driver is on his way. No apology. It turned up at 9.01 and ultimately I missed my train costing me money and time. Very annoyed. Will not use again.

Unreliable booked at 5.20am they rang me at 5.39 told me a few min away 5.55 rang to see where driver was and was told they was still looking for a driver fo take the fare wont use ahain

Waiting time went from 5minutes to almost 20, tatrrifs seems to be depending on the driver as in the morning same miles maybe even slightly more are cheeper by 2£ than it is in the evening,I would say strange,and the dispatch service trying to convince that it was like that all the time,except it was never like this

Just lately our taxi service via Veezu hasn't been good. Whilst always having previously booked our taxis from home to St Neots railway station with Veezu, twice now we have experienced having to chase up because taxi hasn't arrived at booked time and on Monday 13th July at 10.00 I was told there was nothing available to honour our booking. I believe it is now up to individual drivers to pick up jobs as and when they want to. Obviously this isn't a reliable way to run a taxis service. I presume the same would happen if we were to book a taxi to airport run?
