Single oven clean
Vaporclean attended today to clean a single oven which had been left rather filthy by the previous owners of the house. Alex did a really good job in a professional manner and his work was clean and tidy. I am very happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to use Vaporclean again and recommend to friends.

Disappointing Customer Service
The experience as far as the 'product' was concerned was ok. However I felt that the customer service was a bit lacking when I had to call. They have a window of 6-6.30am to start the job. We had an emergency staffing issue which meant someone couldn't be on site until 6.45. I asked if we could just move it by 15 minutes and I was rudely told no they wouldn't accommodate. I asked to reschedule and was told that we would have to pay again. £600!! This would effect if I booked them again.

Thanks for the feedback, we’re glad the service itself was okay, but sorry the call didn’t leave the same impression. That’s not what we aim for.
Our early start slots are usually tight because teams, travel and equipment are scheduled the day before, so late changes can be difficult to accommodate without affecting other bookings. 6-6:30am start means they will be with you for 6am unless there are some unforeseen circumstances. That said, we completely understand how frustrating delays can be, especially when they’re out of your control, and we’ll review this internally as we never want anyone to feel spoken to poorly.

The gent that came was OK
The gent that came was OK. He could not remove the door of one of the electric ovens, cleaned the shelves of the Rayburn OK but not much else.
When he left I asked what was on the floor and was told “it is only degreaser”. This happened to take the colour out of the slate floor and I have now spent several hours and used various products trying my best to hide the mark left.
I would not recommend the company to my friends and neighbours.

Decent service and price
Decent service and price in 2024 - included hob and extractor fan in the offer - but 18 months later, wait for it - they want ONE HUNDRED ENGLISH POUNDS to clean just a single moderately soiled oven! You really know where you can put that quote - and NO compromise or negotiation options. PATHETIC ! We don't reward exploitation - PERIOD. It takes the pxxs!

Thank you for your review and for using us previously. When you booked in 2024, it was during a special offer that included additional appliances at a discounted price. We really don’t like putting prices up, but with rising costs across the board, we simply can’t avoid it and we don't currently have an offer running.
We understand that no one enjoys paying more than they did before, but the price quoted reflects our current, standard price for a professional oven clean. We always try to be fair and transparent, even when that means having difficult conversations. Thanks, Lee
