Great Bite-sized UX Content
I subscribed to Uxcel based on recommendations from friends and social media UX ambassadors. What began as an educational platform has now become a part of my daily routine. The bite-sized content keeps me sharp and engaged with the foundations of UX/UI, best practices, and modern trends. I followed the Product Designer career path, which has been a great way to learn consistently. The opportunity to share projects is especially beneficial, as it allows for honest feedback from UX professionals.
However, I preferred the platform's previous focus. It has recently expanded to include more courses on AI and product management, which can sometimes feel overly theoretical. I believe that practical implementation makes new skills more applicable. Despite this, I still find the platform very useful for anyone who is passionate about continuous learning.
Great for building UX/UI foundations with a daily habit
I’ve been using Uxcel daily since June 9, 2024, and it has become part of my routine. I’m a Full Stack developer with an interest in frontend/design, and I’ve completed 16 courses (from UX foundations and research to accessibility, mobile design, design patterns, etc..).
The biggest strengths for me are the gamification, the roadmaps, and the micro-lessons, they make it easy to keep momentum and progress consistently, even with a busy schedule. I also appreciate that the content seems to get updated often (I’d rate it ~8/9 for freshness).
What keeps it from being a 5 star product is that some topics feel repetitive across different courses, and the teaching style can lean too much on bullet-point explanations, which isn’t always the most engaging. I’ve started using the newer AI feature to deepen some concepts, which helps.
Overall, I’d highly recommend it to beginners or anyone building solid UX/UI fundamentals (especially alongside a portfolio/certification goal). If you’re already very experienced, you might find parts of it less valuable.
An exceptional learning app for design
An exceptional learning app for design
I've been using Uxcel for quite some time now, and I can say it's one of the best-structured learning apps I've ever tried.
What I appreciate most is the flexibility: I can study and practice at my own pace, without any pressure. The exercises and theory are intelligently organized into short modules that allow you to learn even when you only have a few minutes to spare. This makes learning consistent and sustainable over time.
The quality of the content is excellent, both for deepening topics I already know and for discovering new things.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their UX/UI design skills!
Uxcel exceed my expectations
Uxcel exceed my expectations! The platform makes learning UX/UI feel practical, engaging and fun. The quizzes, challenges and real world examples really stand out, you can tell they put a lot of care into the content and the user experience. Plus it's a great place to invest in your career and get a certification. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced designers.
Uxcellent ! Make you improve at your rythme
I’ve had a very positive experience with Uxcel. The platform offers short, well-structured, and interactive lessons that make learning UX/UI design both accessible and efficient, even with a busy schedule.
What I really appreciate is how clear and progressive the content is. The courses are easy to follow, the quizzes help reinforce key concepts, and the gamified approach keeps the learning experience engaging without feeling superficial. It works well both for strengthening fundamentals and for refreshing or validating existing knowledge.
Uxcel is a great complement to real-world practice and other learning resources. It helps build confidence in design principles in a practical and motivating way. I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn or improve their UX/UI skills in a structured and enjoyable format.
Finally, a Brilliant-Style Platform for UX Design
There's an overload of information in this day and age, especially in UX design. The problem? It's scattered everywhere, and it's hard to verify if sources are reliable. There's no consistent way to learn about broader topics or know where to start and what course to pick up next. But now there is UXcel.
UXcel is the first platform that truly hooked me, even after 7+ years in UX design. You learn plenty of best practices and techniques over the years, but UXcel has become an essential part of my toolkit because of its bite-sized learning format. It's perfect for short breaks or public commutes. Knowledge genuinely stacks over time.
What really sets it apart: it's not just for learning new things. I constantly use it to rehearse and refresh best practices when designing specific components like pricing pages, login flows, or CTAs. It's become my go-to reference for "what should I look for here?"
Even with years of experience, I'm still discovering insights. UXcel revisits foundational concepts like color theory in depth, bringing fresh perspective to principles I use daily but rarely think about deeply.
The gamification works brilliantly. Rankings and streaks remind me of Duolingo and create healthy competition that keeps you engaged and motivated.
Great community, practical content, and genuinely effective micro-learning. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced designers.
My go to UX resource
Uxcel is one of the best resources UX resources for theory and practise of UX design, research and now also Product management.
I have done more than 20 courses so far and been a member for a couple of years and it helped me to stay be more articulated. I love also the community, challenges they do and how they have developed the product in since I joined. They really do care about making an impact in the UX education and I am planning to use Uxcel as long as I can :)
UXcel: Turning Skill Growth Into a Structured System
I have been using UXcel as part of my ongoing product design development, and what stands out most is its structured approach to skill building.
Instead of random lessons, the platform maps competencies clearly, which makes progression feel intentional. The roadmap format helps identify gaps, while the bite sized exercises keep learning practical and focused.
It is especially useful for designers who want clarity on where they stand and what to work on next, whether transitioning into product roles or deepening strategic thinking.
UXcel works best if you approach it deliberately rather than passively consuming content. Treated as a system, it becomes a strong complement to real world product work.
I’m genuinely impressed with UXcel
I’m genuinely impressed with UXcel. I was a bit skeptical at first, mainly because of the price. I chose the monthly plan (personal preference—I like committing month by month), though the annual offers are tempting.
I initially expected a traditional video-based course, but UXcel feels more like Duolingo for UX/UI designers. There’s a huge range of modules, topics, and career paths. To avoid overwhelm, I’m doing two modules a day and reading the theory before the assessments. It’s become part of my routine and has complemented my other UX studies in a fun and interactive way.
I haven’t tried the challenges yet as I’m working on other projects. My main criticism is that the platform is quite theory-heavy and text-based, with little video content, which can feel overwhelming at times. I’d love more hands-on practice—such as small exercises after each module and a more structured final project or brief, rather than scattered tasks along the way.
Overall, I really enjoy UXcel and would recommend it. These are just suggestions from someone early in their UX journey.
Honest feedback
Honest feedback: courses vary; some are amazing, some are long and full of fillers. But all in all, the chunking of lessons makes it easy to form a habit of learning everyday, which is the key idea here, to help you commit to learning and self improvement, streaks and gamification techniques are also used to reinforce that.
As for me, I’ve been using UXcel from the very start, I subscribed for a year, cancelled my subscription for a while, then came back and re-subscribed, I find it helps me commit to personal growth and stay at the top of my game.
Uxcel is beautifully designed and…
Uxcel is beautifully designed and genuinely easy to use!
The lessons move at a great pace, with clear explanations and practical examples, and the content library keeps expanding across relevant topics.
I also like the interactive elements, especially the games, which make practice feel lighter while still reinforcing concepts.
Even as an experienced designer, I’ve found it valuable for refreshing fundamentals and picking up small, useful improvements.
Keep up the great work!
Uxcel is the easiest way to progress and align with industry best practices
Uxcel is a great way to learn at your own pace. I've been using it on and off to test my UX knowledge and also consolidate my general understanding of best practices.
I highly recommend this app for anyone, may they be noob or seasoned designer.
I haven't had the chance to try out the integrated pro events, but I'll definitely be giving that a try at some point.
I don't do this to earn points, but the gamification does get you hooked. I do try to integrate Uxcel sessions as a weekly task in order to progress.
I love how it is
So far the experience with Uxcel is great. The way it's set up is keeping my attention very well. I enjoy the feeling of completing a chapter.
Awesome place to learn a lot in a gamified way
I got a membership when I started a new job as a Product Designer in October 2025, and I have since completed 7 of the courses on the Product Design career path. It's so easy to absorb the information, the quizzes between lessons are a great way to practice active recall and the structure of the Product Design career path is very engaging. I also love the gamified elements like the Leagues, accruing points and having a streak since they keep me coming back for more!
This why UXCEL was my choice after 2 weeks of complete planning
I spent two large weeks planning my next movements as a software engineer, but this time, to find a new skill that can combine with the visual aspect of it
Finding UXCEL was the cherry on the cake 🍒, I only by seeing the experience, and the design of the journey they provide was enough for me to try it out
I've been learning there for a complete month, and applying everything in my current projects, and the result is amazing, I would really recommend it
Uxcel has been a good tool for…
Uxcel has been a good tool for improving my UX/UI skills at my own pace. What really stands out is how engaging the lessons are—short, interactive, and easy to fit into a busy schedule. The platform makes learning feel fun rather than overwhelming.
Uxcel helped me document and round out my expertise.
Uxcel was a great tool to round out and prove my experience in many UX Design areas. You can dive right into the quizzes without wasting time on topics where you are knowledgeable. You can take additional time with questions or areas that you need more instuction.
Well done Uxcel.
I've tried a number of e-learning…
I've tried a number of e-learning platforms, but the one I've consistently stuck with is Uxcel. The information is good, and broken into bite-sized chunks so that you can chip away at it as you have time. I have trouble committing to hours of classes a day, but a fifteen-minute lesson or exercise? No problem. If I had one criticism, it would be that the final course exams would be stronger if they did not reuse the exact questions from the rest of the exercises.
The secret to your success is uxcel, your address.
If you want to learn like a mother teaches her child from birth to adulthood, step by step, then you should use UXcel. It's the nurturing mother that provides everything you need to learn in the UX field, guiding you towards success in everything you desire, step by step.
I am absolutely loving the platform
I am absolutely loving the platform. It’s allowing me to level up my skills without having to go to university. I’m brushing up on what I know and it’s all at my own pace!
