I booked a car through one of the online booking agencies, and had an very good experience with Easirent at Miami Airport, FL. Firstly, there were no hidden costs and only a small security deposit of $200, they accepted my own insurance (which all major car rental companies do, by law, but there are often issues with small unknown companies who like to add their own policies). The check in was easy and fairly quick, my car was new as advertised and ran very well. The price was excellent due to my using one of the online booking sites.

They advertise cheap prices, do not be fooled, especially if locally renting and needing insurance it's buried in the rental terms and impossible to find almos, they don't allow lical renrers to buy their insurance. Even if they did it would gave quadrupleded the rebral price

UPDATE: I returned the car on Monday, January 9,2023, at least one hour before the return time. I received a call several days later if I returned the car! I explained how I returned the car. Today( February 27,2023), I saw that they have charged me $39. Not sure why! Trying to reach them to get my money back… no one is answering my phone calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

A lot of trouble with this place. You pay a little less than compared to other companies but then face substantially poor service. It is not worth it! The pick-up was very hard. It took a lot of time to get the car out. After I made the payment and signed the documents, I was told I need to wait for an oil change.

Shaquille Jobe in Irving location was awesome and such a delight! He was so accommodating and made our experience 5 stars. If we could give him more stars we would!

Rented a car via easirent and discovercars. The rental and "full coverage" rates are much better than the name brand car rental companies. Paid a deposit in advance, which is different. I arrived at the Courtyard by Marriott near Houston George Bush airport to pick up the car. I was required to provide copy of my insurance to prove I had full coverage, pay the rental balance and a $500 deposit. Pen signed both copies of the credit card receipt with them keeping both. So without even seeing the car, I paid triple the price quoted. The counter person did not know anything about the "full coverage" since the online companies do things differently. Did not get a copy

I rented and paid for a car thru priceline. When i reached the counter in tampa the agent asked for my credit card and DL. After some typing i was asked to sign a little signature pad on the counter. I was handed back my info and a key. No paperwork ! He stated it will be emailed. 15 min. down the road i get the email that i had been charged 366.16. All kinds of insurance and extras we're tacked on. I had answered no to all extras. I immediately pulled over and called about the charge. I was told its a deposit. Odd number. upon returning the car i was told the credit will come in 10-14 days. Never happened. Called 6 times. Ended up disputing the charges with my credit card co. Easirent is a total scam. To top it off i got a smashed car that was filthy ! never prepped. Never again

2 months after i rent a vehicle there i get a charge for $31.77 And they are telling me u went through 5 tolls when I know i did not maps is specifically set to avoid all highway tolls I'm disputing and calling them on fraud

I booked a SUV from Easirent through price line and the pick up location was Houston Bush Intl airport.
After booking I noticed this rental facility is located out of the common rental car facility. When we arrived at the IAH airport, I called the rental car for the shuttle and they said one sprinter van will come there in half an hour. We were waiting out side almost an hour and finally I asked the Marriott shuttle driver and told me get in I can drop. He dropped us to the Marriott and directed to the rental office inside Marriott in a small room. When we were at the counter two people in front of us waiting for pickup and the front desk commonly announced, no vehicle is available, and the availability is first come . You may wait or cancel the reservation, but not sure when you get it. Anyway we wait almost two hours and we got a rental car. Behind us several people are waiting but no car available. Front desk said they can't do anything, if any return, we can give. That was the pickup story.
When we back to return our car after parking the car to the front desk, another announcement from the front desk, sorry our computer is down. We can't do anything. Finally they inspected the car and said, everything good, and filled a form and the person said, everything good. Have a nice day..... I didn't heard anything or get a final return statement.
My personal suggestion is "Stay away from this and rent vehicle from a standard rental company, if if their price is little higher". Good Luck.

Run don’t walk away, bait and switch, we agreed to an online price and secured it with credit card, once we got there they charged nearly double. It is NOT on the airport grounds. The young lady that worked was so snotty and did everything she could to verbally belittle and attack us. Worst experience I have had in my 50 years of traveling . They did not deserve even a one star. I hope this review helps someone not make the mistake of dealing with these scam artists

I order a rental and I was not told I had to deposit $500 for a two day rental, no where was I informed of this in the website, or else I would of went with another company. I have NEVER had any issues with other rental companies, when I arrived was told about this deposit which is a complete inconvenience since I was not informed, I am assuming travelers will do it in desperate cases since this was near the airport but since I was a local I refused. I had paid a $30 insurance deductible and now they do not want to refund when I did not even drive their vehicle, DO NOT GET THEM!!! EXPEDIA tried to get my refund and stated that EASIRENT refused my refund.. SO NOW I AM Going to post this in every review. DONT RIP PEOPLE OFF!!!

elayed so there was supposed to refund me back some of my money and they refused to do it, And because they don't I'm not from there i cant just buy a ticket,they won't answer my email.
one person told me that my refund will be in my card 5 to 7 days then someone else can tell me that they won't give me a refund because I return the car before time They are all liars and scammers don't trust them. I had an emergency and I'd to cut my vacation short. Don't rent any car from EASIRENT IN ORLANDO Florida
I don't mistake I should have read the review it is so bad on these websites. I believe they do that and then they have a nerve not to answer when I try to connect with.

If you’re like me I am reading the reviews after renting the car. This place off airport at DFW is terrible. Rented a car for 4 days for something over $200, and another $92 added to my credit card after returning the car. This place is awful. Worst experience ever for a rental car company in the US. Do you think they read these reviews? I’m sure they don’t. Next time I’m renting for a reputable known car rental company.

Worst experience with a car rental ever. Not only BAIT and SWITCH but scam!!

Never rent a car from this place! We were charge for a full day when we were told to have the car back by 8 pm even though we needed the car by 4 am the following day! They closed at 8 pm and still charged us telling us we needed to have the car back by then. We were under the impression the time would be fixed and we wouldn't be charged but were anyway. I called and customer service said there was nothing the could do! Scam Artist is what they are!

They charge double their advertised prices with undisclosed add-ons and claims that certain things are "required by law" (which they aren't). Then, a few weeks after you return the card, a new $250 charge appears on your credit card with no explanation, no email, no nothing. You try to call them three times, but each time you hold for 10 minutes before they hang up on you. You can't email them. How are these guys still in business?

a week agoYOU ARE BEING WARNED. What a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Completely disorganized and mirrors a Boyz in the Hood type of place. Many people waiting while one guy was kind of working while the others were standing around eating snacks and talking about baby mama drama. I had enough. We finally get to the rental part and the guy wants to sit there and lie telling me he asked us about insurance when he didn't. I let him know I wasn't dealing with that attitude. Completely unprofessional. Beware...no paper contract rental agreement. They just have you signing stuff they see on their end. Time to get the car...again, waiting around. Nobody seemed to know what needed to happen next. Save your frustration and go with a reputable company. SIDE NOTE: Keep an eye on your teenage daughters. Apparently one of the MEN working outside kept asking my FOURTEEN YO daughter how old she was. Unfortunately, she didn't tell me about it until days later. If she had told me earlier, I'm positive I would be writing this review while out on bond.

Terrible service. Crappy cars with issues. Slow, rude, unhelpful. They don’t uphold the rental terms you’ve booked (car size, and unlimited mileage) Stay away from this company!

Made a reservation for 11 am it is now 12:30 and still have 5 people ahead of me. Should have paid the extra money at the airport to get better service

All of the other reviews PLUS I left my phone on the counter, came back 2 minutes later, phone was gone. I had to leave (should have called police then) and phone showed up for several days at the rental place. No way to reach anyone- had to return home- still without a phone, tried to pick it up when I returned the car and they said it wasn't there. Do not rent a car there.

I was ready to receive my rental car after providing all info needed. they gave me the keys and said “it’s already been checked and looked at and there’s no need for me to look at it so I should just sign and go..she said this before she wanted me to sign my signature.. I still wanted to look at the car and I’m glad I did. I thought I was being punked. Because there is no way they gave me this damaged vehicle with all types of exterior issues! I expressed my concerns and they showed me another damaged vehicle which was also dirty, had burn holes in the driver seat and car side swipe marks all over. I, then again, expressed my concern and was met with nasty attitudes and lies from the front desk staff. I was told to fill out the form stating where the vehicle damages were (vehicle literally had damages on all sides) I marked the paper and the lady went ballistic. I was basically told that I was being ungrateful! I was rudely screamed at and told that she’s gonna cancel my reservation and keep my money! As I’m speaking, another lady comes from the back and tells me to watch my mouth because she’s a “boss” … so I stated so was I… After I sat down and waited on my cancellation receipt they tried to refuse to give me, the woman employee approached me aggressively and had thrown my receipt at me while placing her fingers in my face stating that I shouldn’t be talking back to them and I should be grateful for a car I’m paying for with my money!!!! They thought I was a child… I’m an adult and you will NOT scam me! I was also told my money would be back deposited into my account the same day (which was a lie) since they illegally canceled my reservation and refused to release the funds in addition to this woman aggressively coming into my personal space to antagonize, belittle and provoke me! I will never rent from here again.
