Great trip! From start to finish of this week long…

From start to finish of this week long safari, Upcountry Aventures took excellent care of us. My wife and I are in our late 60’s and they made our experience enjoyable and memorable. The lodges they booked us at were great and our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

The company is very accommodating and…

The company is very accommodating and caring. I had my grandmother with us who is in her 70s and they made sure everything was easy for her and comfortable! We had a great time!

Fabuloso safari

Me puse en contacto con Upcountry Adventure porque me los recomendó un amigo. Desde el primer momento, fueron muy profesionales y atentos, escucharon lo que quería y diseñaron un viaje inolvidable solo para nosotros. Nuestro guía fue muy amable y atento, con un gran conocimiento de la zona y la fauna. El jeep tenía todas las comodidades. Los alojamientos eran perfectos. La comida deliciosa. Sin duda, volvería a repetir, no hubo nada negativo en la experiencia.

Upcountry Adventure gave us the best Safari Experience

This company took great care of me and my family. We had the time of our lives. We saw every animal we wanted to see. The driver and guide were so informative. We felt safe and comfortable. The price was the best possible compared to all the other companies. The director checked on us multiple times. I would highly recommend using this company if you are looking to do a Tanzanian Safari.

I don't suggest

Bu acenteden ailem için 12 yaşında bir çocuk ve 4 yetişkinle birlikte 4 günlük Serengeti, Tarengir ve Ngorongoro turu talep ettik ve hemen istemediğimiz şeyleri teklif etmeye başladı. Teklifleri utanç vericiydi: 8575$ + Zanzibar'a uçak bileti sadece 4 gün için (aslında 3 gün, çünkü ilk gün parka transfer). Seyahat Temmuz 2026 olduğu için indirim talep ettim, ancak "benim aracılığımla daha fazla müşteri kazanacaklar!" diyerek acımasızca reddedildi! Hiçbir şeyi teyit etmedim, ancak rezervasyonu onaylamak için bana çok yüksek ücretler içeren (ekstra 350$) tuhaf bir bağlantı gönderdi. Sonunda seyahatimizi daha iyi konaklama ve müşterilerle profesyonel bir şekilde iletişim kuran başka bir şirketle, neredeyse 2000$ daha ucuza ayarladık. Hiç tavsiye etmiyorum, kötü bir tavır sergilediler ve rezervasyonun onaylanmadığını söylediğimizde hiç de arkadaş canlısı değillerdi. Ayrıca teklif için aşırı pahalıydı!

We understand that pricing plays a significant role in travel decisions, and unfortunately, due to the nature of our supplier contracts and the quality standards we uphold, we were unable to match the offer you received from another company. Our intention was never to pressure or upsell, but rather to present options that we believed would enhance your experience. If any part of our communication came across differently, we sincerely apologize.
Regarding your request for a discount, we strive to be transparent and fair in our pricing. While we couldn’t accommodate the reduction, our response “If you received a better offer, we recommend proceeding with it” was meant respectfully and with your best interest in mind.
We’re disappointed to hear that our interaction felt unfriendly or unprofessional. That is not the standard we aim for, and we will take your feedback seriously to improve our communication and service moving forward.

BEST SAFARI EVER!!!!

I had my very first safari with Upcountry Adventures in Mikumi and can’t wait to go back!! They took care of all our needs and was very transparent, accommodating and hospitable. They even had blankets for the cool mornings and plenty of water to keep us hydrated during the day! Our tour guides were so knowledgeable of the animals and I loved having lunch in the park while watching the animals walk by! Even saw a leopard which is rare to see! Truly Paradise! I would highly recommend Upcountry Adventures for all your safari needs as you will not be disappointed!!! 🦒 🐘 🐆 🐒

Upcountry Adventure is the only way to…

What an unbelievable day!!!!! My only regrets? I haven’t done this sooner with Upcountry Adventure! They are the best!
My mom is older and this was her visit to Africa and first experience with safari and she was so comfortable. The safari director met with us and made us feel so welcome! The guides and drivers spoke great English and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The payment process was so easy and quick.

DA EVITARE

Mi ricollego alla recensione lasciata da mio marito per esprimere la mia più totale insoddisfazione per quanto ci e successo con questo tour operator. Fortunatamente eravamo in contatto con un ragazzo italiano che ha fatto da tramite, il quale è riuscito a farci recuperare (con incredibili difficoltà) una parte dei soldi, ingiustamente trattenuti da questi signori. Abbiamo speso tantissimi soldi e abbiamo ricevuto un servizio pessimo. Sono stata male il giorno prima di partire per il safari da Zanzibar. All'arrivo ad Arusha, ho segnalato subito il mio malessere e abbiamo ritenuto di avvicinarci comunque a Ngoro Ngoro, dove il nostro tour si è concluso dopo un paio d'ore. Il nostro safari è stato guidare da Arusha fino a Ngoro Ngoro, e dormire vicino al cratere. Il giorno dopo sono stata malissimo, e mi sono recata in clinica per accertamenti. Abbiamo dormito (nuovamente, e a spese nostre) nella stessa struttura, abbiamo ri-prenotato I biglietti per Zanzibar e la mattina seguente ci siamo fatti accompagnare ad Arusha. Avremmo dovuto raggiungere Serengeti e fare due notti. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti, e il tour operator ha deciso bene di provare a tenere i nostri soldi, invece che restituire onestamente le quote che non sono state utilizzate. Mi spiace, non sono una che di solito lascia brutte recensioni, ma mi sono sentita presa in giro e umiliata da questo episodio, sgradevole e per nulla professionale!!

To clarify, our company was solely responsible for providing the vehicle for your safari, as arranged through your contact person. We were not involved in organizing accommodations, lodges, or other aspects of the trip beyond the park fees, which were paid to us for remittance to the relevant authorities.
Regarding the refund, we reimbursed the unused park fees to your contact person. However, as per our standard policy, vehicle hire fees are non-refundable, as the vehicle was exclusively reserved for your use during the specified period, making it unavailable for other bookings.
We regret any misunderstanding and assure you that we operate with transparency and integrity. If there are any further concerns, we are happy to provide additional clarification.

BRUTTISSIMA ESPERIENZA!

Abbiamo organizzato con questo tour operator nel mese di dicembre tramite un passaparola. Avremmo dovuto fare 4 giorni di safari, con tappa a Ngongoro crater e Serengeti. Purtroppo mia moglie è stata molto male e abbiamo dovuto interrompere il secondo giorno. Al nostro rientro in Italia abbiamo contattato il nostro referente per ricevere un rimborso, considerato che non abbiamo usufruito di tutti i servizi e che una parte dei costi sostenuti, come gli ingressi ai parchi, non sono stati utilizzati, e sono riutilizzabili. Abbiamo scoperto quanto sia difficile ottenere questo, e non capiamo il motivo. La jeep che avevamo prenotato per 4 giorni è stata utilizzata solo 2, e ci siamo spostati da Arusha fino a un villaggio vicino a Ngongoro e al cratere, per poi tornare ad Arusha, facendo pochissima strada. Questi soldi non ci sono stati rimborsati! Dopo due settimane di insistenza e di calvario abbiamo ricevuto un rimborso parziale di queste spese, che sono state in parte rimborsate al nostro referente che ha provveduto ad inviarci il denaro. Questo comportamento è sicuramente censurabile, poco trasparente e scorretto, per questo motivo non mi sento assolutamente di consigliare il tour operator in questione e consiglio di rivedere le politiche aziendali, in favore della correttezza e dei principi di buona fede, che sono stati calpestati in maniera brutale nei nostri confronti. Abbiamo pagato un sacco di soldi per fare praticamente un giorno e mezzo di safari!!!

We would like to clarify that our company was solely responsible for providing the vehicle for your safari, as agreed upon with the Contact Person who arranged the entire trip. Our role did not extend to organizing accommodations, lodges, or other payments beyond park fees, which were remitted to us for processing with the relevant authorities.
Regarding your refund concerns, We reimbursed the unused park fees to your contact person, despite the fact that the full amount we initially remitted for park fees has yet to be utilized. However, as per our standard policies, vehicle hire fees are not subject to refund, particularly since the vehicle was utilized for three days. We acknowledge the unfortunate circumstances that led to your trip’s interruption, and we regret that this policy may not have met your expectations.
Transparency and fairness are values we uphold in all our operations, and we always strive to ensure clear communication regarding our service terms. We regret any misunderstanding that may have occurred and appreciate the opportunity to clarify our role in your safari experience.
