I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Haaris and his staff / business. Following a very sophisticated Fraud Operation which resulted in UOWN and myself falling victim, I can only praise the support, communication and acceptance from Haaris and UOWN. Haaris did everything he could to reassure me and had already put measures in place which ultimately protected his company and me. I am very pleased to say that from my end all is resolved and hopefully the Fraudsters will be stopped in their tracks, I only hope that Haaris and UOWN can recover and I wish them the best.

I have been investing with UOWN for several years now and they have never let me down. I have had good returns on my investments in line with what was projected. It is easy to withdraw cash my wallet when needed. If there are delays which is uncommon in projects I am remunerated fairly for this. I think communication is good and the website simple and intuitive. The future is bright for this company, and based on their track record, I look forward to further fruitful ROIs. UOWN allows me to invest in property through an expert team, without the time commitment of doing it all myself.

Initially, I was suspicious using the platform as this is a relatively small company and also I have ran into some issues investing
- my initial deposit didn’t arrive to the wallet
- not receiving receipt of my enquiry
- trying to look into deleting my account.

This all happened on a Saturday where I left the negative review on Trust pilot.

The next day, I received a response from Haaris Ahmed (Founder) apologising about the incident and looking into this.

The fact that the company responded on a Sunday means that this company is an active business and this has given me confidence in using the platform for the future.

Update on 15th July, the money landed in my uown wallet. Haaris has been very helpful throughout the process.

It is possible that, since being a small business, there maybe some technical bugs here and there, but nonetheless, I have changed my mind about the initial negative review and given this company the positive 5 star one it deserves.

I used uown for 3-4 years, and earned a very solid return. When it came time to withdraw basically all my portfolio, I was able to do so very quickly, with no hassle.

The regular rental returns were rock-solid, exactly as advertised, and were topped off nicely by capital appreciation when selling shares (i.e. withdrawing) or when the property is sold.

I did more-so the rental properties, and they are now more into developments. What developments I did invest in were very health annualised returns. Very easy to invest even small amounts, also.

What a great company. Had an issue with one of my bank transfers, it was sorted out by one of the owners of the company, I was so surprised. I have made many investments and I am yet to receive any return, but I am quite optimistic about this company.

Property crowdfunding has become more difficult recently due to new regulations but UOWN have managed to quickly make new arrangements to deal with this and offer new projects still.

Amongst the many property platforms out there, my experience with UOWN has been most convenient. I found the team trustworthy and transparent. Got my returns, despite all the uncertainty during the pandemic and the bad experiences with other platforms. Well done and highly recommended.

Where do I even start?

First of all I will start by saying that the way UOWN have dealt with the housing rent income situation was well played, they sold the houses quickly and everyone was paid out.

However, this is the only good thing I can say about UOWN, the other projects are being ran terribly by the company. The UOWN team seem to have forgotten that the key to running a successful project is COMMUNICATION.

My main problem with UOWN is the handling of the Holbeck Haus project. It is not far from being 12 months overdue, which is crazy considering it was only a 8 month project! COVID I agree could cause a 6-8 month delay. However, what can not be acceptable is the abysmal communication from the UOWN team and the misleading statements made by them.

I think it was back in September 2020, UOWN stated that the project was delayed and that they were going to refinance the project and this was going to be the exit strategy. However, in March 2021, UOWN had still not payed out the project but were now talking about selling Holbeck Haus, with no mention of the refinance. What is the exit strategy? Refinance? Or sale?

The latest communication sent from UOWN was sent in March stating that the project would be sold and payed out by the end of March/ beginning of April. We’re now nearly into JUNE and still no payment, or even an email to say why there’s ANOTHER delay.

UOWN please improve your communication channels with the investors that allow you to run your projects.

I want to make it clear that I did everything I could to try and talk to UOWN regarding my issues. However, when using communication channels that are available, I have never received a response. There is no excuse not to send monthly updates!

Great company. Never had any problems with them and got steady returns on my investments. Encouraged my parents and brother to use them, and would recommend them to anyone.
