Universal Networks was formed in 1994 to provide networking solutions with simple but important service qualities in mind; being responsive, understanding the products we supply, and delivering on time. Previous experience had showed that these were largely missing in the reseller channel, but we felt didn’t need to be this way.
17 Years on and those initial values have remained central to what we do.
Originally our business was centred on the hardware elements of a networking system, and whilst this remains an important part of our business, over recent years we have listened to our Clients and invested a lot of time into developing a comprehensive range of Copper and Fibre Optic cabling products. We now probably have more pre terminated fibre options than any other single vendor.
Our aim is to make your enquiry to delivery process as easy as possible. If you are not sure what you need, we will be happy to guide you and advise. If you are more familiar with our products, most can be ordered through our web site at your convenience if preferred. Either way we will provide as much support as you need us to, to ensure you order the right products and receive them on time.

Universal Networks are one of the best suppliers I've ever done business with. Their website is easy to place orders with, their sales staff are helpful and ensure the right components are shipped. Their delivery terms are excellent, with most next-day deliveries arriving well before midday. And on top of all that, their prices are fantastic. I can honestly say I've not a bad word to say about them.

Brilliant company to deal with
I ordered a micture of stock products and custom cables. The stock products were delivered the following day and the custom made cable were delivered 2 days later.
I will definitely be using Universal Networks again.

variable quality of products
Product quality in various shipments of same part number differed greatly and the credit process got out of hand and very confusing. By the time it was all complete it was a nightmare to marry up invoices and credit notes and agree a figure owed to pay.

Dear Customer,
Further to your comments left on the web regarding our service, I would like to respond by saying that there was indeed a discrepancy with the length of the cables, however this is due to the manufacturing process of 0.3m fibre optic patch leads, which have a manufacturing tolerance of 10% either way.
As your project was on very tight timescales and there was not enough time to manufacture new leads before the first shipment was required, Universal suggested a work around by supplying 0.5m patch leads which are more consistent in length. Universal rose to the challenge and delivered the replacement 0.5m leads on time and at no extra cost to your company.
Due to the urgency of your contract, we had to source the cables from multiple sources to meet your very tight timescales. A number of the patch leads were also opened and therefore we had to tally those that had been used and those that had been returned unopened, which admittedly was a difficult task and did make invoicing a lot more complicated.

Very efficient and professional.
Good website, very competetive pricing and 'superb' customer service which included updates on order progress as I had ordered after the evening cut off. I was aware of the cut off but it was outlined in an immediate email. Goods arrived as expected and were securely packaged.

We recieved exactly what we asked for - quickly.
To my knowledge, this is the first time that we have used Universal Networks. We gave them as much information that we had i.e. the type of fibre connector, the length, the mode, and the enviromental factors of where we were installing the cables. We had an approximate deadline which we gave them and they delivered early.
I would use Universal Networks again without hesitation.
