Vey poor support and non existent
I have tried to resolve my UT2 power issue. I submitted multiple questions through the website and also send questions to support as they suggest. So far I did not receive any reply back. I had purchased 2 UT2 but one became a door stopper. Very poor support.

No delivery and no support - UPDATED
Ordered a replacement battery for my UT2 with international delivery. The website said delivery in 10 to 15 business days. It is 15 business days and the website still says 'We're preparing these items for shipping.' I've sent 3 emails with no response. I've tried the Chat on their website and the bot said it 'submitted your request to our human support team, who will look into why order #**** has not yet shipped and follow up with you directly.' That was 3 days ago. Basically, there is no support. Is this a scam?
UPDATE: To be fair to Unifydrive, I have now received a response from support - although 25 days after the date of the order. Apparently, there may be a problem with shipping to my location. I've changed my rating and will see what transpires.

Got a used unit
Got a used unit. Support doesn't answer. Doesn't work with external USB drive. Not a great product.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand your disappointment after receiving a unit that appeared to have been previously used, experiencing problems with an external USB drive, and not receiving a timely response from support.
We do not intentionally leave any support request unanswered, so there may have been an issue with email delivery or ticket routing. Please contact us directly at support@unifydrive.com and include your order number, device serial number, photos of the unit and packaging, and the model and format of the external USB drive. Our support team will investigate the condition of the unit and help troubleshoot the USB drive issue.

Terrible delivery service
Terrible delivery service. Ordered the device 11 days ago for an upcoming trip and it’s not due to arrive for another 3 days (the day I leave for my trip). If I had known that it would have taken this long I would’ve asked for expedited delivery but I never expected it would take 14 days for FedEx to deliver. Very disappointed.

Not so good
Not so good. U2 unite is crazy slow. U6 is unable to connect to the app, some unresolved clash with the U2 unit. Unable to share files with the Mac (have not managed to do that). No support, no manual. I am sending mine back.

Lousy customer service
The UT2 drive that I ordered did not come with any memory installed. When I tried to find 8TB SSD modules online, none were compatible. I have tried contacting the company to return the device but there is no phone # available, and the AIchat and email both state I will be contacted in 24 hours. However the only response I received sent me back to the AI chat which gives me the same message. Their customer service is horrible.

Bad Documentation, buggy software and no Tech Support
The UP6 arrived quickly and in impressive packaging but that's the end of the great experience. First I had a hard time finding the screws to install the M.2 drives then the documentation was pretty much useless. Once I got to the point of setting it up the UP6 kept freezing up and couldn't complete the updates process. I turned in 3 support tickets and still haven't heard a word back from any of them. After 3 days of trying different things I finally got the updates to load and it started working correctly. I will be taking it on a project next week and we will see how well it performs. If you buy this be prepared to spend some time trying different approaches to make it work. I think with better software on the UP6 from the factory and improved documentation and better tech support it could be a great product, it's just not ready yet.

Many features, but very poor quality.
Bought my ut2 on the kickstarter. Promising feature-rich looking devices but required sticky tape on arrival for the ssd installation (this was actually the suggested fix by unifydrive which should have been my first red flag). Faulty usb ports after just 1 year of very light use, and months of back and forth with the support team and no resolution - the quality just isn't there for the wider market - not good for a backup device, and I wouldn't buy again. Simple hard drive enclosures are a lot cheaper, and far more reliable when there is a lot more that can (and does) go wrong with the ut2.
