Hi PST Bruce Kavwanda,
There are two possible variants of use: free and paid. Unicheck is completely free for you as a student if your school or university is licensed to use our software. I would recommend getting in touch with your instructor or administrator of your school to clarify whether you can be granted free access to Unicheck.
We will be glad to see you among our customers and will be looking for new positive feedback after you test our plagiarism detection tool.
In case you still have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with our Support Team at any time at support@unicheck.com.
Thank you,
Unicheck Team

It's a good plagiarism checker
It's a good plagiarism checker! I think with anything like a grammar or plagiarism checker, you sometimes need to run it through a couple different systems to get the best finished paper, but I really like Unicheck! It's gotten the pieces of accidentally plagiarized text that the Easybib plagiarism checker missed.

Dear Isaac,
Thank you for your feedback. We highly appreciate you being our customer.
In our system as in most other plagiarism detection tools and educational software, 1 page is equal to 275 words. It is a standard double-spaced page according to academic standards. We use this word-count as a common one for all types of use: private, business, and higher education. This helps us to be objective and unprejudiced.
In case any questions arise, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Support Team. We are always here to help you.
Best regards,
Unicheck Team
I pay for this service as a student
I pay for this service as a student. Numerous times it ignores my footnotes/citations and still reports my text as plagiarized. This is a huge problem.
Second, the service does not recognize references although it shows a category for references This web service is taken as gospel by universities yet has issues that create problems for students.

The software was used by my university
The software was used by my university, and claimed that I had plagiarized 31% of a paper. I wrote my paper from scratch, and even demonstrated to my teacher where I found my information and how it was dissimilar from the wording of my paper. This is the only plagiarism checker that checks against the web and gave a false positive on the same paper. It claims to be free for students but it isn't unless your teacher sets up an account for you. As more papers get put into their system and online there is a greater and greater chance that it will falsely accuse of plagiarism.

Dear Octreyvian Ferrari,
We are grateful for your feedback and are very sorry that we have failed to meet your expectations. Still, we would be glad to investigate your case and tell you more about the features of our plagiarism checking tool. We hope it will help you to avoid issues in the future.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to investigate the case, unless we check all the details and the report you have received. Would you be able to share your contact details for our Support Team to get in touch with you? You may also send all the details along with the report directly to our support team support@unicheck.com right away. We will check them and will be glad to clarify everything.
There are several reasons why plagiarism may be detected in the paper, even if it was written from scratch.
First of all, it happens when a student cites the paper in a wrong way or doesn’t rewrite the information taken from another source in his/her own words. If the text is properly cited and all the sources are formatted correctly, it is unlikely that plagiarism will be detected in your paper. Some educational accounts also have the Student Precheck option for them to be able to check papers before the final submission. That helps students to check their drafts and to be sure they are plagiarism-free.
The second reason is the subconscious plagiarism. We always recommend users to run drafts through the plagiarism detection tool before submission.
In regards to the payment, you are completely right. Our tool is free for students if a teacher sets up an account for a student. In case you want to get your individual account, we offer different pricing plans that are quite affordable for students. You may find more information on our website https://unicheck.com/prices.

Great plagiarism checker!
Great plagiarism checker!
I have been using the free version of Unicheck for about 4 months and have loved how accurate it has been. You get to check 500 words each time and I think 4-5 times before it cuts you off and offers you to upgrade. You can choose to purchase one of their options or wait 2 - 3 hours before you can use the free version again. I just saw that there is an option to buy the individual version and you can choose the amount of pages you will actually use. The first option is 20 pages for $5 which isn't too bad. I'm thinking about how many pages I actually want to buy. I think 100 pages for $15 is a great deal so I think that'll be the one I go with.

I liked the service, it's quite good. The only pity is that if you want to check a huge scale of information, you must go to a paid version, which is not cheap.

Hi Samantha,
Thank you so much for the review.
As for the price - there is a quote: "There's always free cheese in the mouse traps, but the mice there is not happy".
Our service is a product of a hard work of nearly a hundred specialists. We work days and nights to get a really high-quality service. Despite this, our price is still much lower than competitors. Anyway, we really appreciate your opinion.
Your Unicheck team.
At the beginning Customer service was great, however it became horrible
First of all i asked a question regarding a problem. The explained it to me very clear, however the instruction i followed didn't help solve the problem. When i told the customer service lady that. She didn't reply. I waited for over an hour. no reply. I did not like the quality of there customer service.
