Paid label subscriber - suffered for 2 years, can't even leave peacefully
May 2026 Update: UMW re-releasing my taken down songs on 23 May 2025. UMW is still unresponsive. Didn't process my royalties for over a year. Currently, the UMW cms is not accessible.
February 2026 Update: They are not processing royalty payouts, I have requested royalty payout in September 2025. Now, on feb 2026, it's still pending, I regret releasing my music with this distributor.
Also, they have released my takendown songs without my permission, I have sent multiple emails for several months. They didn't respond. So much headache, I regret a lot. I wanted to stop my music production works because of these bad experiences from this distributor.
June 2025: Been for 2 yrs, at first on v1 platform I received instant customer support, later used a marketing campaign for a song no report generated, even after multiple requests. No customer responses, no queries answered, no help provided after a few days. Then they shifted releases to v2.5 platform, no performance analytics, royalties payouts seemed to be less. 15% commission. There will be admin fees, DSP fees etc. I get it. Videos are not distributed, upon several requests, they distributed to tidal, asked for vevo distribution only sent 2 videos, for weeks, months to 2 years, then as they introduced v7 platform with promising and as they assured additional features and instant support for a paid subscription, I liked and purchased label plan, well, nothing changed. I see no difference. No customer support. Even on platform v7, no analytics or royalties payout even after 9months of paid subscription. Forget about instant support, queries either are on seen or a bot reply, even though anyone responds, no guarantee for issue resolution expected. I had to pay to takedown the releases, 2 of the releases due to some technicalities, I believe, are not visible on my dashboard, since I paid the amount I have been sending whatsapp texts & emails, it's been over a week asking them to takedown from their admin end and there is no action. Videos are not on the dashboard. So I can't request a takedown myself. All of my requests are still pending, they are not even letting me leave them peacefully. I made wrong decisions, right after joining v1 they stopped responding, but still chose to be with them on v2.5, still paid v7 label subscription thinking everything will get better. Almost a year to the subscription. I regret joining this distributor. I just want to leave, please take down my releases. Last time I gave a 3 star and mentioned that there is no customer support, instantly i received a message on whatsapp to remove my negative comment. This time please don't make me suffer more, be kind and process my takedown requests of all audio and video releases from all of the platforms.
Update: My takendown songs were re-released without my permission even after taking payment for takedowns, I have sent several requests to the UMW to takedown the re-released songs, but they have not taken down.
There are some audios and videos which were still live since may 2025 even after of my several requests they haven't takendown those, they are not visibile on the dashboard, hence I requested them to take down from admin end, but even after 6months my audios and videos are still live on some platforms, and a new issue now takedown songs were re-released, no matter how many requests i made, how many mails i sent, they are not taking any action. They haven't processed my requests even when i was a paid subscriber.
