Extremely disappointed with UltraFire and their return policy. I ordered a battery that turned out to be slightly different in size from what I needed. I contacted the company expecting to simply return it, only to find out they would not accept the return.

To be fair, the restriction is stated in their return policy, so I acknowledge that. However, I still find the policy extremely customer-unfriendly. When you’re purchasing something like a battery online, where fit and dimensions matter, a company should provide customers with a reasonable way to return an unused item that doesn’t work for their application.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I could not find a Google Business listing for UltraFire.com where customers can leave Google reviews. UltraFire is a China-based company, and based on my experience with this transaction, I do not feel that I was treated fairly as a customer.

My advice to future buyers: buy your batteries from a local retailer or a company like Amazon with a straightforward, customer-friendly return policy. Even if the price is a little higher, having the ability to return something that doesn’t fit is worth it.

This company has been a huge disappointment. Their return policy and the way my situation was handled have lost my business permanently. I would not purchase from UltraFire.com again and would encourage others to consider retailers with stronger customer protections and easier returns.

Ultra Fire online has a nice website with plenty of good reviews. Great prices too. Well, it’s like my Dad always said. If it’s too good to be true it probably isn’t.

I ordered a scuba diving light for 70 bucks that I suspect will be pretty decent but I have no idea when I will see it. I ordered it three weeks before a trip only to find out that it’s being drop shipped from CHINA! I’ve been down this road before and items have typically taken 6-10 weeks to arrive. Had I know it was shipping from China I would have ordered from some other site or better yet found something at a local dive shop.

It makes me wonder who I’m actually dealing with. Is Ultra Fire a US based company or a Chinese company????

Please do not buy directly from UltraFire, they use a shipping company Yanwen Express who are horrible at shipping and customer service. Had an item shipped to my PO Box, the shipper marked it as an irregular address and sent the package back. Ive have this PO Box for years and had many things shipped there no problems except this. Save yourself a headache and buy from somewhere else or a different product all together. RLSD

They sold a flashlight without a battery. Of course I assumed it was a normal AA battery (or something similar). No, it's a proprietary rechargeable battery.
WTF! What am I supposed to do with this?

Then, to return it they want me to ship it back to China and to pay the shipping. That's how they prevent you from returning it, they make it impossible. So their return policy is a lie (they say they'll send you a shipping label but they won't).

Now I have a worthless flashlight with no battery that's going in the trash.
