I signed up to ultra mma back in December and my fight night is this weekend in nottingham. I cannot wait to get in the cage, the whole experience has been 10/10 love it!

I’ve been to watch a few Ultra MMA events and they’re always a great night out. Everything is really well organised and the whole event feels very professional.

I also know a few people who have taken part and they all said how much they enjoyed it. They’ve spoken really highly about the training and the overall experience.

After watching a few events and hearing how good it was from those who took part, it’s actually made me think about signing up myself. Definitely recommend going along to watch or getting involved.

As a coach who has delivered Ultra MMA sessions in the past, I rate it 5/5 stars.
This program is brilliantly run for absolute beginners—8 weeks of structured, progressive training (boxing, Muay Thai basics, BJJ, pads, and controlled sparring) leading to a safe, one-off mma fight, all while raising funds for charity.
Safety is genuinely top priority: mandatory gear (proper gloves, shin pads, headgear where needed), thorough medical checks, careful fighter matching by size/skill, no reckless full-contact sparring, and constant emphasis on technique, defense, and tapping early. Injuries are rare because the ramp-up is smart and supervised.
The group vibe is supportive and ego-free, participants transform physically/mentally, and events feel professional yet fun. If you're coaching or participating as a novice wanting a real MMA taste without high risk, Ultra MMA nails it responsibly. Highly recommend—worth every session

I’m currently in the thick of training ready for my fight, and I can honestly say it has transformed my life. I have met new friends, got fit, healthy and found a sense of purpose I’ve been missing.
I’ve raised over £500 for charity, and can’t wait for the event itself.
The trainers are amazing, and my confidence has grown ten fold.
Would recommend to anyone looking to get fit and challenge themselves.

Really great intro into MMA!
I'd been thinking about trying something like this for a while but never knew where to start. When I seen Ultra MMA, it grabbed my attention and I signed up. The process from start to finish was great and would highly recommend for anybody thinking about doing it.

This has been the best experience ever so far, I can’t recommend it enough, the coaches and everyone in the group have been so supportive and honestly met friends for life! Can’t wait for fight night! 👊
