The product is excellent, delivery not so much
I ordered a fully built workbench. Its fantastic quality, extremely heavy, very sturdy, exactly what I wanted.
The delivery was not good.
- Ordered May 24th, delivered July 2nd
- It turned up at the incorrect time. It was supposed to be 4 pm, but it ended up being a random time, in my case 11 am, so my workspace wasn't clear and I had to rush to clear it.
- It was a 1 person delivery, even though this workbench would require two people to get it off the pallet. The pallet it came on, the workbench had slid off it, so I was forced to help with delivery and had to lift it and awkwardly put it back on. The delivery driver asked me what to do to try and fix the situation.
- After getting the bench in place, it was clear there were a few paint scratches, dings and bumps. Not a problem, UK Workbench is sending out spray paint for me to make a quick repair.
- I had to hurt my back helping the delivery person

Hi Sam,
Thank you for your review and for praising the quality of your fully built workbench! We’re chuffed to hear it’s sturdy, heavy, and just what you needed.
We’re so sorry for the delivery hiccups, including the timing, the one-person delivery, and the minor scratches. That’s not the experience we want for you, and we’re gutted to hear it caused you discomfort. We’re glad the spray paint is on its way to sort the scratches, and we’re working with our delivery partners to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to message us directly. Thanks for your patience and feedback—it helps us improve!

We recently ordered a beautiful pink…
We recently ordered a beautiful pink cupboard from UK Workbenches to complement our office branding. Unfortunately, it arrived with some scuff marks. I reached out via email, expecting the usual delay and a generic response—but to my surprise, I received a call almost immediately from Lee.
He was friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned. He assured me that this wasn’t the standard experience UK Workbenches stands for and resolved the issue there and then over the phone.
I’m genuinely impressed by both the product and the outstanding customer service. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Quality & Service!
Absolutely in love with the quality of our new workbench! We actually changed it from steel topped to MDF to suit our studio and the guys had no issues with our last minute change. I tell you what it was difficult getting it up our stairs, HEAVY! but strong, hard wearing and fantastic quality.
