From Chris site visit and assessment of what we can have to Mark and Dan who did the fittings - 1st class job. Chris was honest in assessment and reliable with contacts and communications.
Mark and Dan were on site for 3 days - professional attitude and communicated all the issues clearly. Site was left neat and tidy - the fittings and done neatly and they really took pride in their job.
Commissioned the system and left us their contact details for any problems and issues. All done seamlessly - they come highly recommended from me. Just genuinely nice people.

We had UK Solar Services install a solar array and battery system at our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received from start to finish.

Right from the beginning, Chris was incredibly helpful and took the time to answer all of our queries while developing a proposal that we were happy with. At no point did we feel under any pressure to go ahead, and Chris was always extremely responsive to emails, which made the whole process really straightforward.

We decided to go ahead with the EcoFlow batteries and inverter as we particularly liked the user interface and functionality of the system, along with the solar panels.

Then came the installation. Dan and Mark were an absolute pleasure to have around the house. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout, and I really enjoyed chatting with them and learning more about solar generation and the system they were installing. They managed to complete the entire installation in just two days, which really impressed us.

Once everything was installed, Dan took the time to show me around the system and explain the user interface, making sure I understood how everything worked and felt confident using it before they left.

Two weeks later, Dan even called to check how we were getting on with the system and whether we had any questions or queries. That level of aftercare really stood out to us.

Overall, if you’re considering solar panels and battery storage, we would highly recommend UK Solar Services. The service we received throughout the entire process was impeccable, from the initial proposal right through to installation and aftercare, and we’re really pleased with our solar and battery setup.

After a lot of Solar research I decided to go down the route of a local supplier and after reading the excellent reviews, decided to contact UK Solar Service. Right from the start the communication from Chris was first class. I explained what type of system I would like taking into account potential future add ons like an EV Charger (which they also fitted at a later date) and he designed the system to suit. Everything went really smoothly, Mark and Dan both worked extremely hard for a day and a half to set everything up as well as being 2 top lads who were always receptive to any of my questions relating to the install. I don’t know where to start to praise Dan and Mark. Literally from meeting Dan on the Monday and Mark on the Tuesday they have both been amazing, polite, courteous some great banter, so much attention to detail and me being a novice where batteries, inverters and solar panels are concerned Dan has been an absolute ‘star’ setting everything up on my phone and the panel monitor and explaining everything in layman’s terms numerous times 😁 he truly is a huge asset. It has been an absolute pleasure having your team working here this week From our first initial meeting with Chris he answered every query we had, have kept us informed all the way through and never put any pressure on at all for us to make a decision.

A very genuine team. Very responsive to early questions about required specification. When they turned up to do the install of the solar battery they were fastidious and easy to have around. Followed up and responded to early questions I had post-install - primarily around how best to work alongside my energy supplier (tariff). Would definitely recommend.

In late spring 2026 I took the decision to install a solar panel/battery storage solution at home. Having called several MCS registered installers, Chris Baker from UKSS was by far the most responsive. He arranged to do a site visit the next day and talked me through various options without any sales patter or pushiness. He then provided a full competitive quote and proposal, (including every itemised system component and a realistic expectation of system performance) within 24 hours.
Having given Chris the go ahead a few days later he arranged the DNO approval (required because of the inverter size). Approval took longer then expected but Chris chased them regularly and most importantly kept me updated throughout.
On the day of the install Mark and Dan turned up bright and early. The first thing they did was make sure they clearly understood the configuration I wanted based on my circumstances - I have an EV so the priority of the power flow from the panels between battery, EV and grid had to be right. They then got to work on the install. The two of them really grafted over the next 3 days in blistering July heatwave temperatures - at one point the roof tiles were actually too hot to touch as the ambient air temperature was 34C!
Once complete they did a full test, spent over an hour explaining the monitoring App, then tidied up. Mark pointed out a broken tile to me and said they would be back to replace once the scaffolding came down. True to their word, Mark and Dan arrived an hour after the scaffold was removed and sorted it.
After two weeks Dan then phoned to see how everything was going and asked if I had any questions or needed any more help.
My overall experience with these guys has been exceptional. They are clearly a solutions and service led (not sales) organisation which is very rare these days. Chris is really knowledgeable, responsive and nothing has been too much trouble. Mark and Dan are genuinely lovely, polite, hard working guys who take total pride in the job.
I can happily recommend UK Solar Services Ltd to anyone. In an industry where there are a few cowboy outfits, these guys are the real deal and potential customers should be reassured that they will do a great job from start to finish!
Oh, one final point...if you do use UKSS for your renewable install please make sure you put the kettle on for Mark and Dan!

Looking for a solar and battery system is confusing, so many options both in terms of fitters and equipment. It’s such a big investment so choosing the right team is important.

Chris and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. We went with UK solar, because from the very beginning there was care taken to ensure not only were we getting the best value, but that it would look neat and not affect the look of the property.

This care continued all the way through the process. Mark and Dan fitting the kit, went above and beyond, the job was left clean and it really looks the part.

We are 2 days in and already we’ve more than halved our energy usage, the 2 days have been cloudy and mist, so I wasn’t expecting much, but it is proving very effective. Looking forward to seeing it perform when the sun is back.

From initial contact, working out a quote, and then doing the work, this company were exemplary. They were efficient, cheerful, re-assuring, clean and tidy, I am 81 and live alone, but felt very comfortable with them and the work they did. Chris and his team recently installed solar pv array on my business premises. Communication was quick and clear throughout. The install team were on site for two days and took great care to fit the roof panels perfectly in line and symmetrical. Chris serviced our solar thermal system. Highly professional service and pointed out a couple of safety additions that could be added in the future. Would highly recommend if you need your solar thermal system servicing - all at a very competitive price.

Chris also provided some great advice on Heat Pumps as we are thinking about transitioning to this technology in the future. No hard sell just very good advice. I would have no hesitation in contacting Chris to seek his services when we make this step.

After struggling to find somebody to service our thermal solar water heater panels i came across UK Solar service, the system had been out of operation for around 3 years. Chris was quick to respond to my enquiry, arrived punctually at the agreed time and gave a very honest assessment. It's a big decision to invest in solar and it's difficult to find the right company to go with. We had three quotes, two came out to have a look at our requirements and one company based in London just did a desk top quote. When Chris came to look it was immediately obvious that he 'knew his stuff' so easy decision we were going to use UK Solar Services Ltd. The quote price was all in, I had to do nothing, Chris did all the paper work, designed the system, organised scaffolding etc, his team installed and commisioned the system, very tidy on completion. The only thing I had to do was a bit of paperwork with my energy supplier to allow me to feed any excess electricity back to the grid. From day one I could see my energy costs go down, I would highly recomend this company.

The installers were absolutely great, explained all they were doing, worked efficiently and friendly without being imposing. Kept everything tidy and cleared up well at the end of the working day. All looks really good and very pleased with the work done.

Great installation carried out with a knowledgeable, efficient and courteous team. Chris came and gave us a very detailed explanation as to our requirements. he quickly came back with a quote which was very favourable in comparison to previous ones. He also oversaw the installation which was quite involved. Mark was the installations main who showed a thorough knowledge of the works to be carried out. His wiring is second to none, being so neat and tidy, He was abley accompanied by Dan who added his own technical know how.

We've been thinking of increasing our solar panels to the front of the house, Chris did our 10Kwh batteries so I approached him, he turned up and was very knowledgeable and approachable.
He covered the technical areas of the Solar install and showed me the ways I can shave more money.
The price actually came in below our expected budget and once we decided to go ahead, he managed to install within 10 days on a bright September day,
Mark arrived promptly on the planned date to install the system and also talked us through further details.
The install was faultless and they cleaned up after. They took me through everything and even setup the Phone App to monitor and control the system.
The whole installation of 6 panels and I didn't mansion a Air source heat pump all in all start to finish about 4 days.

Chris from UK Solar Services was the only person we dealt with that took the time to explain the real benefits of fitting solar, its limits and expectations. He and his team were very professional, organising all the services and scaffolding required and also giving me the time with the scaffold to get essential roof repairs completed. We had a really competitive quote and settled on 14 x 500w Eurener panels, 2 Duracell 5.2kw batteries and a 6kw Duracell inverter. Mark, Adam and Dan were all great, working hard in incredibly hot weather to get the hardware installed. Our installation was definitely not a standard install. It included 6 KW of additional solar panels and victron hardware which i had trouble finding a company that were prepared to provide me with the system i specified and not what they wanted to sell me The standard of the installation was outstanding and the guys were a pleasure to have round. I can definitely recommend them.
