Sold me a watch through Amazon EU
Sold me a watch through Amazon EU. It broke within 2 months. I went to the manufacturer for a repair, they sent me to the Eu distributor who sent me to the shop. Carl Benz Uhrenonline24. They refused to accept the repair, saying it was sold by Amazon. Despite their name being plastered over the guarantee booklet.
[Addition one year later due to Uhren's reply to the initial review which took them a year to write]
The below missive from Uhren Online is complete nonsense. The watch came from their Amazon EU storefront. I did not want a replacement, I was not demanding anything. I simply wanted a watch that I loved and was still quite new to work. I stated I would even pay for a repair. As finding someone to repair a Russian watch in the UK was very difficult to the uninitiated. I went to the manufacturer, Sturmanskie. They sent me to Uhren Online. Saying that they would be the easiest solution to the problem. I later informed Sturmanskie of Uhrens unhelpful demeanour during the discourse that was nothing but rude and disparaging.
I understand that the UK may not be the most popular European country since Brexit but Uhrens antics just smack of our and out racism to me. Their underhandedness displayed by how they take a year to reply to the initial review in the hope that I'll just let it go.
