These mats are brilliant - really attractive designs (I've got a Scion hedgehog, and now a lovely design of olive leaves) and they're WASHABLE!!! My order came quickly, so I'm a happy customer.

Nice mat but washing before use is a faff

Have bought from you before and very pleased with your mats. Did not have to wash our previous dirt trapper mat which is still in service. Instructed to wash this dirt trapper before use was quite a challenge. Did not want to risk my washing machine so hand washed it. Luckily we are having a prolonged warm spell this year so drying it outside has taken only three to four days. Not sure I would buy another if it needs to be washed before use.

Good Afternoon,

Thanks for your review.

All mats have been washed once already before they reach you but will benefit from a second wash to raise the pile and improve the absorbency. Like many cotton pile products (towels for example) absorbency is improved when the product is completely free of any yarn 'dressing'.

I will pass your comments onto our production department for future review.

Kind Regards,

I've had two other turtle mats before and I've always been very impressed by the way they take off the water and soil off your shoes. Service was also very quick between the time of ordering and the time of delivery

Tufts of the mat came off in the first wash

I vacuumed and washed the mat pre use as instructed but great tufts came off in the wash. Can't give 5 stars for fear more tufts will continue to come off.

Good Afternoon,

Thanks for your review.

New mats will have excess lint to start with which is completely normal. They tend to settle down once they've had a bit of wear and the first wash.

If you still have issues, please don't hesitate to send us an email and we can help further.

Ordering and delivery were easy and quick

Ordering and delivery were easy and quick. The quality of the mats is great. Only issue was the colour of one of the mats being described as brown but there was no brown to be found, it was grey. Now looking at other reviews this has been noted several times before!
