I ordered a custom memorial canvas to honour my late fiancée who tragically took her own life on the 5/5/15 due to a horrific vile trauma we suffered in 2011 while we were based in her town of Newport RI USA for my job.
I provided clear, explicit instructions to the studio regarding the deep personal importance of this piece.
Turned Art systematically failed on every single metric.

Substandard, Appalling Product:
They delivered four separate proofs that were nothing more than cheap, automated, waxy digital filters. They completely bleached our dark summer sun tans into stark white, gave me a deformed mouth with three lips in the first draft, and completely distorted my fiancée's posture.
It showed zero artistic care.
Extensive Stalling & Silence: It took weeks of back-and-forth. They consistently ignored my specific instructions, stalled for time, and went completely silent for a week when I politely demanded a refund.

Breach of Binding Legal Terms: Turned Art explicitly advertises a "Full Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee before printing—no questions asked".
Yet, when I formally rejected all four digital drafts, they refused to honour their own contract and withheld my £99.
Abusive Behaviour from the Owner: When my legal counsel placed a phone call to resolve the breach of contract, the individual representing himself as the owner completely lost control. On a legally recorded loudspeaker call, the owner called me a "psycho" and said have you read the emails.
Weaponizing psychiatric slurs against a customer who explicitly told them they suffer from severe trauma-induced PTSD and anxiety is an abhorrent violation of basic human decency.

The Conclusion:
Throughout this entire process, my email correspondence was nothing but open, cooperative, and polite. My full email thread and records have now been thoroughly reviewed by my legal counsel and my bank's fraud/dispute team who both agreed that my emails were well done, detailed and polite.
My bank immediately forced a full clawback of my funds out of Turned Art’s merchant account for breach of contract and merchant hostility.
Trading Standards have been formally notified of multiple commercial violations. Avoid this company at all costs they do not use real human artists, they violate their own guarantees, and their management is deeply malicious and abusive to vulnerable customers.

We do not believe that the owner was the person on the record call by my legal counsel and whom called me a psycho, action will be taken and if this proves correct Turned Art who is the trading name of Duke Web Designs Ltd (Company No. 13473761).
​According to UK Companies House records, the registered director and owner is Andrew James Duke we do not believe we spoke to this man just a living wage employee who falsely declared himself the "owner" an owner wouldn't not conduct themselves in this disgusting manner.

the back and forth to get the font correct and the lack of phone contact made this take very very long. I bought this as a gift for a real estate transaction and here it is almost 6b months later.

Easy to order, good quality and speedy delivery

I could've done this at home. Literally all they did was print out the picture and make it look like they dabbed paint around it. I paid over $80 for them to print a picture and put it in a cheap frame.

Such an excellent custom job was done on what I ordered. I was kept up to date on every step of the process, and it even arrived early. Could not ask for a better experience.

Came out great; people were easy to work with and provided us with 4 proofs to choose from!

From order to delivery, 4 days. Wanted something really special for our dearly departed and missed 26 year old African Grey parrot and this certainly is remarkable. The price really didn’t matter because it was in honour and memory.

Hello, I had text put on the picture, and that was good , but the text also showed up on the bottom of the portrait where it folds around the frame, also it just didn't seem to hug the frame very well, it was a little loose.
Everything else was good, and font was a good choice

Everything was great the pictures turned out beautiful. The price was great the shipping was fast. Very pleased!!!!

I bought two separate wedding photo gifts for my 2 recently married daughters. I bought both of them the 18x24 size portrait and they both turned out beautifully.

Final product excellent. Shipping took longer than expected. Order early if expect to arrive for an occasion such as anniversary…

It was a 1st wedding anniversary present for my husband and he loved it. The process was really easy and it was quite difficult to choose between the samples sent over before finalising the design. Would highly recommend.

I was supposed to receive two prints, only received one. The second one never got delivered or stolen. I’ve sent multiple emails and still have not got my refund for my second print that never got to me. Horrible customer service

You guys installed it upside down. I hope the things on the wall is on the bottom of the picture not the top. I’m going to now have to either break the CEO! and flip the photo around or figure out how to move that piece to the top.

It’s more than I could ever imagine.
