I purchased a FREE trial for a "pdf converter". I tried to cancel with my bank after 1 use. The payment was still pending, so my repeated requests were denied. Purchased through Apple, I immediately reported deception when I was billed $39.99. Claims denied + disputed.
THIS HAPPENED WITH ANOTHER THAILAND BASED COMPANY. SCAMS/DECEPTIVE PRACTICES/NO RECOURSE.

I don’t know who TrueMoney are and have NEVER made attempts to use their services. They appeared hidden on my Apple account quite happily taking 14.99 and 9.99 a month for accounts with them I know nothing about. I discovered the deception when I checked my 2.99 payment to Apple for storage. I clicked on this payment and discovered the hidden greyed out payments in a section “report a problem “ . Apple know nothing about it but reports on Reddit are growing and being escalated by Apple.
I’ve never been to Thailand (asked by Apple) so why are TrueMoney stealing my hard earned money. Can’t contact them as their contact details don’t work.
Whoever you are preying on innocent people - Karma will get you and you will pay with Interest!
I’m not expecting any reply from TrueMoney even on this platform as they don’t care about their reputation as long as their bank account is fed.
They have not replied to the other people who have commented about them on Trust Pilot. EE have opened an investigation in tandem with Apple.
Wake up TrueMoney - there’s nothing True about you from my perspective.

I started using TrueMoney wallet because everyone around me seemed to have it, and it looked like a convenient way to handle everyday payments. Registration itself was fine, but right after that, I ran into a couple of small but annoying issues. The interface is simple, yes, but sometimes it freezes right at the moment of payment - not great when you’re standing at the counter in 7-Eleven with people waiting behind you. Once I even had to cancel the transaction completely and use another card.

The cashback system is also not as smooth as it looks at first. The points expire fast, and if you don’t check regularly, you just lose them without any reminders. Another time, a payment didn’t go through, but the balance was already deducted. I had to contact support, wait for their reply, and then wait again for the refund. It got resolved, but the whole process was slow and inconvenient.

Customer support does respond, but not always fast, and explanations can be vague. So while the app works most of the time, it’s not something I’d fully rely on. If you use it in Thailand, it’s smart to keep a backup card or cash just in case.

My account with 40k+ baht blocked at the beginning of the august. Tried to contract truemoney support multiple times - they just send "our department will contact you in 7-14 working days" when more than 14 already passed.. . Currently escalating this issue with bank of thailand (BOT), local authorities and my lawyer.

I have been using TrueMoney Wallet for over 8 months with a verified account (passport and driver’s license). Suddenly, on 18 August 2025, my account was suspended without explanation. I immediately contacted TrueMoney support on 18 August and again on 23 August, but I have never received any reply.

My account has around 47,000 THB inside, which I urgently need for rent and daily expenses. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable.

As a foreign resident in Thailand, this situation makes life extremely difficult, and I will be forced to escalate the issue to the Bank of Thailand if it is not resolved.

I hope this review warns other users and pushes TrueMoney to finally take action.
