From the customer service team (Josey) actually booking the removals to the removal guys in particular (Paul and Ash) who came to us over two days packing up - the level of customer service was outstanding and everyone so professional and pleasant to have around - so pleased we chose them it was a 10/10 for us!

Move was complicated! Downsized to smaller property so half of house contents went to new property and remainder went into their storage facility then later they moved contents from storage to yet another property! Nothing was ever too much trouble, they were professional, efficient and everything went smoothly, would definitely recommend!

Excellent service from start to finish. When Sam first came to the house to do the estimate and explain the different services he was very respectful of our house and professional at all times. The quote was clear and competitive with everything laid out. The packing and removals team were equally professional and respectful of our house and possessions. Not only that, the actual removals process was quick and efficient. All under the watchful eye of the team lead who was clearly very experienced. Thank you for such a great service. We'll be using you for the return Tripp for sure!

Used Tripps full packing and removal service in November 2024 and could not have been happier with them. The team packed carefully and efficiently the day before our move and arrived promptly the day of the move. After a few issues with solicitors, we got our keys quite late but the guys were amazing and called in extra people to help. They even returned another day to build a wardrobe as it was too late to build on the day. Despite them being late, they were cheerful, polite and even let our boys have a look in their lorry before heading off. Big thanks to the team and would definitely recommend!

We chose this company despite the price being in the upper range, and we don't regret this decision.
This is the most stressful time but at least on this matter we got some relief, having professionals to do the actual moving.
The guys were extremely polite, very careful with handing our belongings and within two days it all ended up well.

We booked Tripps with only 2 weeks left until moving date. We opted for the full packing service. Two guys came the day before and packed most of our house. We didn't think they'd get everything done but on moving day four guys came and finished the packing and had everything loaded by mid-day. It was all unloaded in our new house by 3pm. They were so fast and polite and friendly with the only breakage being a drink coaster. We couldn't have asked for a better service and would recommend them 100%. Thank you for making our move so stress free!

Very efficient and friendly team - they took the stress out of moving completely

The team in the office were very helpful and understanding with meeting my needs for the move, answering all my questions and supplying me with all the materials required.
The team on the day were all friendly, very efficient, careful with all the belongings - nothing lost or broken and got the move done much quicker than anticipated. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Very responsive, movers turned up at the agreed time, very quick, helpful and polite. A local firm which gives good service and is reliable.

Because of the outstanding service, we've returned to AH Tripp & Son Ltd after using them to move abroad and to Scotland. The move went smoothly, over two days, including the full packing service. The crew was polite efficient and helpful and arrived at the destination on time. I would happily recommend Tripp removals.

It was a big and stressful move, but the office staff were brilliant in reserving a date for us, and the guys who came to pack and move us ( Ben, Liam, Dave, and Paul) were friendly, organised and calm throughout even though the job required multiple vans, a 3 hour drive, and an overnight stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to use / recommend Tripps again.

We had a nightmare house purchase and ended up exchanging and completing on the same day. I’m so glad we chose Tripp and their full packing service as they made it so much less stressful. All their staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They worked so hard and I have no idea how they managed to get our sofa and bed up to the 4th floor. No items were damaged and we would definitely recommend them.

Used full packing service. A few items were damaged. Despite repeated emails and phone calls (over 10 during the last two months) I have only ever received one email from them. No one returns calls or can even let me know if the claim is progressing. Awful, they say you only know how good or bad a company is when there is a problem. Sadly this is very true and A H Tripp have turned out to be very bad.

Tripp’s were great. Very quick and professional. Excellent packing - especially good at packing fragile china and glass.

Tripps were fantastic, would definitely recommend them! We opted for the full packing service and it was the best decision we made. We received a few quotes and not only was Tripps the most in depth survey, it was the most competitive. I'd used their services before, so it was a no brainer to be a repeat customer. The move took 2 days and the staff were great. Admittedly, day 2 would have been faster and less stress for the 2 workers if there were more of them, but they got the job done and we were very happy.

Second time using Tripps and can't fault the service. Packing was done efficiently and quickly by Ben and Kieran, move day went well with a growing team as the day progressed. All went well and they handled some furniture/access issues at the new house with a pragmatic calm approach. Highly recommended.

Would have given 0 stars but not an option.
During move many items broken and furniture damaged. They don’t take responsibility for the damage which they pass on to an insurance company.
There is an excess to pay, which is hidden away in the terms and conditions. The insurance company offered a pittance for the damage.
Wish we hadn’t used Tripp.

Much damage to contents. Furniture etc collected Oct 23 and this included wrapping service. It was taken into storage until last month (Aug 24). I paid a lot extra as everything had to be carried to 3rd floor. The crew was sent to wrong address and they hadn’t been advised of items for disposal so were not happy having to carry back down. Several items including dining table + 3 chairs badly damaged. Mirror and picture frames smashed. Lamp shade squashed. Antique table completely destroyed, small table smashed. Apparently they are trying to find out what happened
Despite me returning their claims form (and I have to pay £50 excess), there has been NO communication from anyone at Tripps. I cannot dispose of anything (and therefore so far no compensation) until receiving authorisation from the insurers and so I am stuck with so many broken items in my lovely new home

This was only a small job but was done quickly and efficiently. The men were polite and helpful.
