Terrible company, I'd be very surprised if they were not breaking some deceptive trading laws

Ordered several cases of bottles after initially speaking with their chat rep due to website not taking order correctly. Two weeks later I contact them for order status, "not processed yet" was their curt reply.

A further few days and we get notification that the order has shipped, they even sent tracking information. Tracking turned out to be useless as Fedex Freight had no record of the number. Emailed them for a good tracking number........Email ignored by them!

Almost immediately after POD sending the original shipping notification, we get notification that the order is not complete and the shipment of bottles we paid for 2 weeks prior would be considerably less than we ordered, and the remaining bottles would be back ordered until at least September.

There are laws against advertising something for sale, taking payment for said advertised products, then not having the products in the first place

Our next stop will be a Missouri law firm, to see if any of the several Deceptive Trade Practice laws have been broken here. You can not advertise, and take payment for products you do not have to sell.

Buyers beware, there are many reputable packaging companies out there who don't use these deceptive practices when doing business.

My advice is to check out the many recent negative reviews on the internet for Packaging Options Direct, seems we are not the only people they have tried this dubious 'bait & switch technique on.

EDIT: So it seems like we were given more bogus information by POD. Told shipment had shipped via email, they even included a tracking number (That didn’t work). This morning we received yet another shipping confirmation (Again with a worthless tracking number that FedEx Freight doesn’t recognize) stating shipment shipped this morning

You couldn’t write this calamity

Very easy to order, great service with quick expedited delivery. Delivery was very pleasant and a breeze and Forward Air delivery company was very professional and courteous. The driver arrived between the scheduled time 7-8 am and extremely happy on a rainy morning. I would certainly recommend Packaging Options Direct as well as Forward Air Delivery.

They shipped fast and more importantly the have the stock they say they have. I went to Berlin packaging and their website said stocked, after I ordered and gave them my info they told me everything was on backorder with no way to cancel the order. This company has their sh-it together.
