Awful, careless, sloppy service
Awful service and ability to manage claims.
Arranged an assessor who in their own words advised they had no experience in assessing vehicles of this type (steam).
Royally screwed up the HPI check - a 5 digit number isn't a VIN number. A google of the description of the return would suggest a slurry pump is probably not a miniature steam engine.
Complaint handling is a joke:
"My understanding of your complaint with regard to Travelers is as follows: The engineer from Northern Assessors assessed the damage to your traction engine and deemed it to be a total loss." Not that at all, it was that they had zero experience.
"The [finance] checks are carried out using the Registration Number [X888 XXX] and not the VIN number. We did not have the VIN number' But yet, their own results page stated "Recorded against VIN', and the finance companies both confirmed their results were nothing to do with the registration and nor did they even know of it.
Tons of careless, sloppy, mistakes.
