Excellent lecturer and tour manager who produced a very memorable experience. Both hugely well informed in their particular spheres. When things had to change, they produced imaginative and enjoyable alternatives. Excellent choice of hotel, which formed part of the experience of the art and architecture of Finland, rather than being just a base.

Personal circumstances meant that I really need a good break, and I got an excellent one! The "Agatha Christie English Riviera" tour was 100% outstanding, extremely well organized, captivating content and never a dull moment. The day at Burgh Island, especially the lunch, was the highlight for me, as it was for all of us, an unbelievable experience. I could not fault the tour and I recommend it to everyone.

This is the third holiday I have taken with Travel Editions and find them a professional, caring and creative travel company. Tour managers are experienced and professional in managing the holiday experience. Specialist lecturers are experts in their field and very good communicators. Hotels and restaurants are of a good standard with great service and facilities. The holidays cater for tourists with a curiosity for and interest in places, history, and art, as well as being with like-minded people and enjoying social dining and experiencing. These holidays suit a broad spectrum of people, with varied interests and a willingness to enter into and enjoy what each day has to offer.

I feel that Travel Editions welcomes me back as an old friend, each time I make contact about a new trip. We've occasionally made our own travel arrangements for an overseas trip, which works well.
We've enjoyed the well thought out programme of a trip, whether for a long weekend, or of a week's duration, and the quality and expertise of the guides, both British and foreign/local ones.

Another Wonderful tour with Jane and Nicos. Starting with the Pelicans and cormorants on Lake Kerkini and finishing with dolphin and turtle watching in Preveza. In between we visited the Tomb of Philip II and Alexander the Great. Fabulous workmanship of gold items and decorated urns. We unexpectedly came across a costume museum in one town. Superb clothing and decorative pieces. We visited a surprising gallery of sculptures Ranging from 6” high to 8’. In a small village We saw caves. Churches Monasteries agriculture of many varieties. And this was without mentioning the fantastic food. Many of the meals were included. Jane chose such a lovely wide variety of dishes for us to try. Mostly vegetarian. All delicious.
The first hotel was quirky and basic. Second a standard luxury hotel with pool and spa. The third was a delightful boutique hotel. Lovey pool and most comprehensive breakfast you could imaging. So 10/10 to Jane and Travel Editions.

I have never had a bad tour with Travel Editions (and I've now been on 6). What makes them stand out is their attention to detail, the quality of the accommodation and the expertise of the Tour Manager. In this case, on the Lakes of Northern Greece tour, Jane was superlative and it has certainly made me think about booking another tour with her.

The hotel on the shores of Lake Annecy was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was exceptional.
Each of the four days out and about by coach was well orchestrated and immensely interesting. Despite some rain and drizzle, we had a really good week.

I’ve done quite a few tours with Travel Editions and had great times. They tend to be based in decent hotels and led by a specialist in the subject - check their website and see how many people lead multiple tours, that’s an excellent recommendation. On a tour you invariably meet people who’ve done other tours, again a good recommendation. I’m thinking about my next tour!

Thoroughly enjoyable trip with friendly people and lots organized for us.

Enjoyed a three day break in the Ribble Valley in August with Nicholas Merchant staying at Gibbon Valley Hotel, Chipping. Visited six country houses with enough time at each, all days were well planned. Some of the houses were closed to the public so we were the only visitors which was nice. Hotel was lovely, only downside was the evening lecture and meal were too early and there was nothing to do after the meal as the hotel was fairly remote.

Our archaeological visit to Orkney was excellent, with a knowledgeable archaeologist and an excellent tour manager. Our hotel in Kirkwall was comfortable, the food good, the staff friendly and helpful. All the sites we visited were on the main island. The introduction to excavations at the Ness of Brodgar by Nick Card, Director of the project, was a particular highlight. I would have loved to stay longer and visited more of the smaller sites.

It was a very well planned tour, and all the elements were outstanding. We had good accommodation, and a helpful manager.

Excellent Guide for the Gardens of Snowdonia in June. Tony Russell lives in the area, and he knew all the Gardens very well. He was friendly with everyone, and easy to talk with.
The Gardens we visited were a good experience, especially the smaller ones, where we were greeted by the owner who had planned the garden and was working on it. This was a unique experience for us.
The Hotel was excellent in every way.

Staff at HQ really helpful and friendly.
Holidays are well organised with expert and entertaining guides. Time is allowed for free exploration. Fellow travellers tend to be of a certain age but are congenial company.

Travelling with TE since 2013. Excellent tour managers, good itineraries, good value. Mixed experiences with others in travel groups but applies anywhere. Staff responsive and website reasonably easy to use. While no-one is perfect, TE is much better than some other tour companies offering similar types of holidays.

All interaction with Travel Editions Staff, Experts and Tour Guides are genuinely satisfying. The Office staff are friendly and efficient, the Expert Guides are very knowledgeable and the coach drivers are proficient and approachable.

Wonderful accommodation, good food, Interesting places to visit. On top of that, we were looked after by the Tour Manager, and spoon fed lots of historic Information by the Tour Lecturer.
