We have an amazing account manager who is very proactive, knowledgeable and approachable - Thankyou Carol Thompson for looking after us and our property !

We have had our holiday cottage with Travel Chapter since 2017 and I cannot fault them. All of the staff are helpful and friendly and it takes the stress out of bookings and paperwork. Payments are received on a regular basis and our cottage is busy all year round.

When we looked at booking a cottage we were unsure about our dates. It was really good that someone was available to talk to and were very helpful, more than i can say about some other agencies. We have used holidaycottages on a number of occasions and found the standard of accommodation excellent for them all.

We’ve just listed our 2 (unusual) holiday properties with Travel Chapter to give us the benefit of a company with lots of ‘reach’. Sarah, our new business manager, was very friendly, informative and easy to deal with. She has facilitated a smooth sign up process, and our account manager Liz will take over from here. We have high hopes for lots of bookings, but it’s early days so we will have to see. So far, so good.

Recently signed up with Holidaycottages after previously using another company.
Instantly found the support and communication with our first contact Sarah, so much better.
Help easy to access when needed, nothing too much trouble.
Looking forward to working with them long term.

Travel Chapter failed to honour their agreement to add my property to Airbnb which was agreed in person at the first face to face meeting with their agent. Also prices agreed were not honoured and despite many calls , conversations and actions nothing was done to rectify. Eventually due to loss of income I cancelled the contrast they had breached.

They have issued a county court summons which will be now defended with a counter claim. Passed claim to a back street debt collection company in London who attempted to pressurise me into to paying substantial amount of money.

They have lots of other satellite companies to avoid bad travel chapter reviews , like holiday cottages co.uk and several other as travel chapter reviews speak for themselves with quite large amount of negative reviews in trust pilot. Please be careful when booking anything with travel chapter or holiday cottages or their list of other companies.

Our Account manager Tracy is always very helpful. She shows a genuine interest in wanting to work with us to deliver the best possible experience for all our guests. To this end she shares great ideas, small and large, for improving what we offer.

Have been letting out our lodge in Davidstow with Travel Chapter for 16 years. They are always a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. Our property manager Anna is always very helpful.

Fishermans View was just what we needed. Clean, tidy, excellent location with all the amenities close or nearby. We had been before but had had to come back early. This time everything was perfect and we look forward to going again. We left something behind in the cottage and the host went above and beyond to help us recover it.

We chose a beautiful 1 bedroom barn conversion in a lovely quiet area of Cornwall and were lucky enough to have good weather all week. The cottage was exactly as described on the site. We have chosen holidaycottages for several years now and have never been disappointed. Sometimes the prices have been a bit high, but so are other sites.

Right from the start of our booking the company were great. Answered my questions and queries quickly. Booking and payment all went through smoothly
We stayed in Nutwood Cottage in Grange over Sands. Lovely quirky little place with everything supplied you could possibly need. Had a wonderful week and would definitely recommend.

Because of the noise within the cottage it spoilt our stay and nowhere on the reviews have we seen anything about noise from the hot water system nearly all day.

Lovely cottage in a lovely village. Very well equipped. However we are 70 years old and need comfort after recent operations. The description mentioned a garden, lovely, so had visions of sitting in garden read a book. Garden furniture very uncomfortable. King size bedroom was not equipped with a king-size bed. In fact the bed did not let me put my feet over the edge as not long enough and rear board stopped me dangle them over the back of bed as I would normally do. For the rest it was great.

While it’s good to search and find properties to suit your needs the prices can be eye watering. I know location is key but the cost of properties near the sea are very expensive but we’re not talking five star here. We would holiday more often for a reduction of just a few hundred pounds per week. I think greed is doing the company out of more business.
