They don’t deserve one star, that’s far too generous. This company is a fricken joke. I paid for a game but have received zero information or confirmation since. Product hasn’t arrived, been a while since ordered. I will be going to my bank and reversing the payment because it absolutely is a scam. Can’t contact at all. Emails bounce straight back. No replies from website messages. I’m so angry as it said it was a New Zealand site but definatly not. It also doesn’t take this long to send within New Zealand. How is this company getting. Away with this and still operating?!!

Edit: the response below is the exact same response they have given every single person who reviews them on here (going back years) no courier company has delays like this all times of the year. It’s a feeble excuse.
I still, a month later, have no order confirmation, tracking number or parcel. It is absolutely a scam. Please do not order from them. I have found several other businesses with the exact same address and phone number as them. They have several sham businesses. Look up Ninth Avenue -exact same address and phone number but is also a scam and they also have a “sports shop “ with a similar name also.theres scam reviews on every single one.
There so called 24/7 phone number picks up then hangs up. Every email bounces back. They put this response up to look like they are communicating but it’s just to save face on here. They have no intention of ever sending the product. It’s definatly not a NZ website like it says. It’s all a farce just to thieve hard earned money off of people because they are too lazy to go work for their own money. They would rather steal from people.

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Ordered a game weeks ago and still haven’t received it. I’ve tried the tracking number and it’s invalid, tried calling but the number doesn’t work and no reply to multiple email. Wanting either a full refund or guaranty of the game actually arriving 😡😡😡

Is there a negative star? Because I highly believe they should be banned! I ordered a bouncy castle a month ago and paid for it in full since they dont have an option of other payments. Two weeks after they say that its out of stock so they will replace with similar product. I specifically stated it is needed in 3 weeks . Just now they refunded me (well thanks for that) but the point is how can you let a month pass before saying oh its out of stock. You left your client in a difficult position because now I need to find an item with little time left! Total waste of my time considering I had to email for the supposedly alternative product. No heads up whatsoever and was just given the refund with no apologies or explanation. Time wasters!! Take this company down!!

I ordered a tilting jigsaw table for my 92yr old Mother who has arthritis in her neck. After I purchased it I read the reviews and was concerned that I may have been scammed! I immediately received a tracking email confirming the purchase. It took a couple of weeks to arrive but the communication and tracking were fantastic and it was really well packaged. I set the table up for Mum today and it is awesome - everything I was hoping it would be - thank you Toy Central

The goods I received were not what was pictured and a rip off. I contacted the company and they offered a small refund to spend at their store when I wanted to return them for a full refund. I have sent the goods back and have lost $75 in the process which is more than they are worth. I will not purchase from here again.

Scam site. Made an order and received email confirmation. Order never showed up. Tried to contact them via email multiple times and never heard back!

SCAM ! Don’t purchase from here. Purchased a dart board, got a text with tracking but never arrived. Emails never were responded too. Address on website is an apartment not a store. Also in FAQ’s it states no physical store. Phone number is also not a NZ number.

Dreadful. The chess set I purchased isn’t anywhere near as good as was claimed on the website and is proving impossible to return. I’ve made three phone calls which were directed to an Indian answer service who advised that I will be contacted within 24 hrs with details on where to send the parcel, after being offered a 20%discount if I kept it. I refused the offer.
They have a 14 day money back clause and my initial calls were made within the time frame, However no word to date, from Toys central, other than a reply via Trustpilot with apologies and assurances that they would contact me via email. That was 4 days ago and not a word from them. Maybe that is a standard ploy used to appear to be reputable online, but continue to avoid refunding unwanted products.
I wish I had been canny enough to check out their reliability before I purchased from them. I was duped by the ‘NZ’ at the end of ToysCentral.
The chess set was approximately $185.

I placed an order on 20 Dec still awaiting tracking number. Called just to be told tracking number will be emailed. The customer service person, Akash, completely clueless about the order or email address for the order has not emailed tracking number. My order number is NZ-TC#P211655349. Can someone get back to me asap.

This is a scam website. Purely using dropshipping and aggressive google ad tactics to post products for 6x to 8x times the price on Amazon or comparable sites.

Do not buy from here, ordered 6 weeks ago and nothing. I want a refund!

I’m assuming this place is run by a scammer, I ordered nearly $400 worth of toys for my kids Xmas in early November, allowing plenty of shipping time. Email bounces back when you try to contact them and tracking number provided doesn’t seem legit. Absolutely heartbroken as I can’t afford to replace their gifts.

I ordered from this company on 27 November and have emailed and called trying to find out where the item is.
There is no email reply and when i call the phone cuts out / says thank you for your message even wehn you don't leave one.

I spent about $250 on a off brand lego halo energy sword. They never gave me a tracking number or anything until I reached out after waiting so long for it. When it finally came it was not what I ordered. Instead of a lego set they sent me a plastic energy sword that retails for like $50 at dick smith. I was so upset. And I know that if i go through the return prcoess it's gonna screw me over plus it came from LA. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!! the product photo is not always the actual product.

The company responded below saying they emailed me but I never received an email or anything so the issue never got resolved. They are still just a scam business

TERRIBLE - I ordered a sand digger for my boys birthday over 3 weeks ago and I haven’t received any further info my bank has been charged!! No one answers the “24/7” customer service line and no one replies to emails. Wondering if this is a fraudulent website?? Going to report to bank, netsafe and police if I don’t hear back within 24 hours

I would give them a 0 but we have to put something. I ordered a product and it turned up around 6 week later, no return slip, absolutely nothing like what i ordered. Pinged for a return via the order and website, nothing happened. Called and got the most rude customer service person who clearly was not qualified for the job, who then said they had a process and had to do the refund via email. Never received and email, turns out the sent to an email not connected to my order...(speaks volumes) asked to sort on phone, again cannot do has to be email will resend you email. Rung off and low and behold still not email or ability to refund. So month later have given up. By chance i had paid by credit card, and registered a dispute. Rubbish company, terrible customer service, and the products you receive will shock and awe in a very bad way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you do can only say i told you so.

I am waiting for a track n trace number,rang today,was told being emailed the number,this is a misleading website.Either send me an email ASAP or give the full $83 dollar refund,this is unacceptable.i have sent so many emails, no reply so far,Very,very unhappy and annoyed.After alot more communication,I am happy that my parcel arrived safely,If anyone does go through this company,make sure you get your tracking number ASAP,will save alot of stress and frustration.I am very happy with my purchase.I believe in giving another chance.Dont ignore emails from potential customers.
