Really amazing experience and beautiful nails. Katie was very friendly and professional.

I have visited various Townhouse branches and while the staff are very nice I have had issues every time, including polish “bubbling” on more than one occasion. Most recently, I was in the salon for 2 hours for a simple pedicure (including waiting for 25 minutes as they were running behind schedule) and the polish on two of my toes chipped the very next day. I contacted Townhouse but never received a reply. Given the high prices I would expect a better level and quality of service both in and out of the salon.

Tried twice would not return great the colours and the staff are nice but treatments feel rushed and not good value. Plus voucher accepted at booking then refused when I was due to pay at the end. The fact you can not contact anyone to amend appointments is suspect.

Danelly at Townhouse Mayfair was great. Professional, detail-oriented and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable.

Asked to be gentle with my cuticles and she was so gentle as requested. Townhouse was very clean and great atmosphere.

I would give less if there was the option. I’ve had a Russian manicure before and needed an infill - I’d booked three weeks ahead - firstly it is not inside st James quarter as indicated so hard to find then on arrival I was told they couldn’t infill my nails as they hadn’t done them ( even though it was a Russian manicure as they do and I was willing to take responsibility ) the only option was to strip them - not good for the nails - and leave with them bare or come back another time after the stripping as they didn’t have time ( I was the ONLY person in there with two staff members . There was no flexibility and I struggle to see how they will ever get new clients. Even if you are a client of theirs and you needed to get an infill or repair on holiday they wouldn’t accept you back. Nonsense. I went round the corner to USA nail who were quick , helpful and less than half the price.

I have been booking my pedicures with Makeda for a year now and I wouldn’t want to book with anyone else!! She is so brilliant and her attention to detail makes my gels look amazing and last! Thank you for being so fab! X

Sadly thumb nail came off after 2 days then they all came off by 4 days. Was really gutted as I had them done for holiday, and have never had professional gel nails come off so quickly.

Makeda is the best!

I attended Townhouse in Putney for a pedicure as my feet had not seen light of day for the winter period. I found the service to be appalling and was made to feel like I was an inconvenience to the lady attending to my feet. I grant you my feet were in need of help but instead of reassurance she made me feel small and embarrassed. I had been there once before and the difference in attitude and service was astonishing.
When asked to review the service I did so and have not had a reply. Please be kinder to those of us who do not have perfect feet

Relaxing and lovely experience

I went to townhouse Canada Place. Upon signing in, my partner and I noticed it was empty and saw that there were no workers out but we could hear folks laughing and talking in the employee area. We sat down on the couch and waited and after some time my partner got up to look around the corner, then the nail tech came out. She looked surprised to see us and then tried to say that she couldn’t do one of the services (chrome finish) on account of the time. When we pointed out we were the ones waiting on her she denied it and lied saying she had been out in the customer waiting area the entire time and was there when we arrived. Clearly not the case as my partner had to go around the corner to see why no one was outside in the main salon area. She called her “manager” who was just as dull as she was, clearly the other person that was in the back chatting with her. The manager argued with us as well and threatened to show us the camera footage which my partner and I asked for her to do! Apparently we called her bluff and a she backtracked instead stating that since we are wasting more time she will not do the gel removal. At this point I had enough and told her to forget it. They cancelled the appointment in front of us and I thought maybe next time don’t stay in the back laughing and chatting when there are customers waiting for you???

Appointment was at 10:20, nail tech came out at 10:30. Interaction with the tech and “manager” lasted until 10:40 when we left. Truly a massive waste of mine and my partners time.
