First experience in townhouse

This was my first experience in townhouse. I had yuliia as my nail tech and I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, patient and meticulous nail tech. There was no rush, she did everything I asked for and made sure I was happy with everything before she finished. Her detail was immaculate. I would recommend the shop and yuliia! Thank you!

Yullia was amazing!!

Yullia was amazing!!! She was so considerate and paid so much attention to detail to ensure my nails were perfect. Can’t recommend her enough for both manicures and pedicures!

Both girls were not helpful

Both girls were not helpful, and not careful when cutting cuticles etc. They were not knowledgeable in their practice. Service was not good.
Would not go back.

Booking CWH25471

Booking CWH25471: Terrible experience in absolutely empty salon. Arrived 10mins late for a naked mani & pedi (having made it to Canary Wharf specifically for appointment that day). Team declined to take me on saying that they can’t do a simple manicure in remaking 40mins as have another customer booked. Not to mention they have taken £90 as pre-booking from me. Don’t recommend, will never go again. Disappointed

Flawless Nails Every Time

I’ve been going to Yuliia at Townhouse Fitzrovia for my nails, and I honestly wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is absolutely the best, so attentive, professional, and incredibly skilled at what she does. Every appointment feels relaxed and thorough, and she really takes the time to make sure everything is perfect.

I was a loyal townhouse customer for 2+…

I was a loyal townhouse customer for 2+ years - last week, they cancelled my nail appointment with 2 hours notice (I did not see the text message or email). I had booked this appointment very far in advance as I was going away the next day, and had arranged childcare for the time. I got to the salon and they told me they had cancelled the appointment 2 hours before, so I contacted customer service expecting some form of compensation for this but all the said was ‘we emailed you’. I have been going to townhouse every 3 weeks since 2024 so I thought as a valued customer they would do something but the responses I got were just shocking. I’ll never go back as loyalty means nothing! I won’t be back.

I attempted to buy a gift card online…

I attempted to buy a gift card online from the Townhouse website for £100, but the website glitched, resulting in 4 transactions (totalling £400) on my credit card and no gift voucher. I contacted Townhouse on Thursday via email and this issue still has not been resolved. What’s even more annoying is that in their latest email to me on Friday, they asked me to confirm whether I tried to make the payment online as they can’t seem to see the charges on their end. I had clearly stated in my initial email that I attempted to make the purchase online - really frustrating when you have to repeat yourself and the issue is still dragging on. All I want is confirmation that the charges failed and that the money will be returned to my credit card ASAP.

Bad Customer Service

I travelled to the Guildford Townhouse nail salon this afternoon, only to find that my appointment had been cancelled without any prior communication.

What made this more frustrating is that my booking was still showing as confirmed in the Townhouse app, which gave no indication of any issue.

I contacted the WhatsApp support channel and was disappointed with the response. The agent was defensive and somewhat dismissive, stating that an email had been sent at 7:56am but refusing to provide any confirmation or evidence. I did not receive any such notification, which resulted in a completely wasted journey.

Whilst I understand things happen and staff can become ill, Townhouse need to be proactive in communicating this. It is particularly concerning that there is a clear inconsistency between the app (which still showed a live booking) and the claim that a cancellation email had been sent.

No incentive to return after this having spent a lot of money and time there to-date.

I usually (never) write reviews

I usually (never) write reviews, but Townhouse totally ruined my nails and filed them way too much. It has been >1 month since I removed them and I’ve had severe pain in several of my fingers and I have honestly been concerned. Went here because it was a «well-know» chain in London, however, this is not value for money and the nails break after 1 week.

issue with o2 booking but refunded in points

booked using a partnership discount with O2 and my 30% discount showed on the website when i booked, it showed the discounted price of 28 pounds instead of 40 for express manicure. when i finished the treatment and i was charged, the discount wasnt showing anymore so I went to townhouse customer service and took me some work to find a resolution after a few emails because they kept saying it was o2's responsibility but in the end they refunded me in points so i updated the review here
