Brilliant service from the team at Torvelo. Speedy repair and at a very reasonable price.

Proper mechanic in a proper bike shop. In 40 years of riding bikes I have never met a more skilled or conscientious technician. No patronising b***s**t like most other bike shops in Glasgow, Doog just gets it, knows his customers and wants what they want out of a bike.

I couldn’t find where the noise was coming from on my drivetrain but Doog find it straight away and sorted it.

Doog’s knows what he’s doing when it comes to building a bike. Thorough service mechanically as well as great customer service. Great guy to chat to.

I had never dealt with Torvelo before. I had just bought a new bike from theonlinecycleshop.
Unfortunately the bike arrived with a faulty gear shifter. Possibly damaged during shipping. The supplier immediately asked me to take it to a local shop to get repaired and they would cover the cost. Great to deal with. The chap Doog that runs Torvelo booked me in for the following day. I immediately got a text and email with my appointment details. When I arrived, he immediately set to work attempting to repair the shifter. It turned out the shifter was irreparable, so I headed back to my office and he ordered a new one. The price was very reasonable, if fact pretty much on par with the same item on the internet. He only charged me £15 plus the cost of the shifter. He said he likes a challenge and wouldn’t charge me for the time he spent trying to fix the old shifter.
I was super impressed with his fairness as he new I would be getting the cost refunded. There are so many shops that would have taken advantage and charged a lot more. I would highly recommend taking your bike there for any repairs or servicing as he certainly knows his stuff! Trust goes a long way. If he fixed cars, I know where mine would be going if you get my analogy.
