Poor European Customer Service – Weak Materials and No Support
I purchased a pair of Topo Athletic Terraventure 4 and after a relatively short time the mesh at the front/toe box developed a hole. The upper material feels very thin and fragile for a running shoe.
When I contacted the European/German customer service, the response was completely unhelpful.
They simply blamed it on “an upward stretched toe” overstressing the fabric and refused any warranty support.
It feels like they are using cheap construction and then shifting the blame onto the customer instead of standing behind their product.
The combination of weak mesh and poor local support makes me unable to recommend Topo Athletic.
Perhaps better save your money and choose a brand with more durable materials and reliable service in your region.
