Captivating Ambiance

Just received my Melt Portable lamps and they are stunning. The hot blown effect is mesmerizing adding a unique touch to my space. Loved the lamp so much, considering ordering the floor lamp and chandelier too.

Selling faulty items and no customer service

After being sold a damaged light shade during one of their events, we wanted to exchange and pay the difference to one in tact. After calling 8 times and promised a call back plus 2 emails to customer service, we were repeatedly ignored. Turns out not only was the product damaged, but the store manager gave us wrong information about the product when buying too. For a designer brand that comes at a price, disgraceful customer service.

Tried to return a ceiling light

Tried to return a ceiling light. After obtaining code and doing all checks this item was refused with no reason given why it was refused. I was not told it had been returned by Tom Dixon or parcelforce and was missing and now it’s probably too late to attempt return . Terrible service. No communication.

Copper Globe - save your money.

I love Tom Dixon lights and have a few in my home and my favourite is my copper globe. After less than five years I am having to take this light down as the copper is flaking off so extensively, it’s embarrassing. Tom Dixon can’t repair it and are unwilling to replace the shade. Completely waste of money. I expected better. I have 15 year old Tom Dixon lights that look as good as new. Nice agent via email but he contacted the team who would not help. Certainly won’t be shopping Tom Dixon again and please TD, don’t respond to my comments with remarks about techniques used in manufacturing. The bottom line is your technique isn’t good enough!
Save your money.

Beautiful!

I bought a copper coloured whisky decanter and glasses as an anniversary present for my husband and they are just beautiful. The items are hand made and I noticed a slight scratch on one glass, which I queried with Tom Dixon and they very kindly sent two more glasses free of charge - fantastic customer service too!

SAV! Feedback on excellent customer service

This really is a feedback on excellent SAV - customer service reactivity. I had a problem with a "melt" lamp which.. turns out.. I kind of melted myself, using too high wattage bulbs..
customer service answered within the hour, we figured out the problem, they proposed a solution.
I am impressed.

No commitment to quality and sustainability

No commitment to the longevity, sustainability and quality of the products. I contacted customer service to ask about replacement parts for the Brew Cafetière. The answer was "find a handy man", that's it. If they can't repair or hold spares for premium products that are in practical use day to day then at least offer a replacement. I was just sent packing with a now useless hunk of scrap metal.

Been waiting for 3 months for chandelier

I placed an order for the Large Melt LED Chandelier in Gold on March 1st 2023. Up to date, I still have not received the delivery. My order number is 300021744.

I have been speaking to customer service and have been asked to wait longer since the chandelier is apparently backordered, twice already. When I bought the product on the website for $7,912.00 there was no mention of the item not being in stock. I also paid $249.00 for Shipping & Handling to have the chandelier assembled in my home. The last delivery date I received from them was June 9th. Upon sending them an email to confirm that delivery would actually happen this time, Erica sends me this reply:

"Hello Sassi,

I am so sorry I thought my colleague updated you while I was out. Your order arrived earlier than expected and was shipped via FedEx# 645188359070 on 5/17/23 and delivered on 5/18 per the below.

I do not live in Springfield Gardens, NY and I do not know a person called MMoreno.
Why would I ask about my chandelier delivery if I already had it? It's not like this is my first order from Tom Dixon!

I'm starting to get the feeling they want me to cancel the order for a refund, because I bought the chandelier on a discount and it has now gone up to 11K with tax on their website. That is really scummy! They have now messed me around for 3 months. I'm so upset!

Amazing Lighting from Tom Dixon
After visiting the Kings Cross shop I fell in love with the Plane Surface Wall Lights. I purchased 6, 2 for the wall and 4 for the ceiling. I have recently had them installed in my new bathroom and they look absolutely stunning. A big thank you to the sales advisor Estefania who was so helpful in every way. Her customer service was outstanding from start to finish. I really recommend visiting the showroom.

I’m obsessed!

I’m obsessed! Love the “London” scent, and just bought the huge1.4kg candle, along with the handwash and balm duo. Really different but feels lovely on the skin and you can tell quality ingredients have been used. I also have several other candles which smell very nice, along with the bowl set and metal spinning oil diffusers.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with in the last 10 years. I purchased 2 lights from them through a designer and they were defective. I contacted them and asked for replacement parts. They asked for an invoice, which I supplied from the designer...and they rejected that. They asked for an invoice from the light dealer and I had to take time to search for that but I did supply them with the invoice number that the dealer purchased the lights through them...and their customer service said they located the invoice but I had to ask my designer to ask his dealer to ask Tom Dixon....they wouldn't ship the replacements to be direct. They said if i wanted to make it faster I could purchase the replacement parts (which were $225.37). I am always in a hurry so I agreed to just pay for the replacements instead of going through the ridiculous procedures they are demanding. I purchased replacements on Dec 22 and it is now Jan 7 I haven't heard a word from them and the parts being shipped, and they haven't responded to my inquiry that I made 4 days ago about where the replacement parts are. Be warned the Void Pendant light is of shoddy quality and defective. They make the replacement process a hassle instead of just dealing with their defective products in an expeditious manner to increase their sales and once you purchase the products they don't ship them and don't respond to emails.

Exceptional service from Tom Dixon

I had ordered my melt lights from another supplier - who caused me endless trouble. A trip to the Tom Dixon shop resulted in a price match offer with lights delivered next day! When my melt lights arrived - I did not recognise them as melt - as when not illuminated they look just like plain copper. However a call to Tom Dixon resulted in an immediate call back, reassurance and follow up.
now installed they look fab-u-las! AND I had experienced exceptional service!

Lovely product and good service

I recently purchased a slab dining table and chairs and I’m absolutely over the moon with the solid quality and the installation service. Customer services have been very responsive in coordinating the delivery with me. We love it and is it highly admired by friends and family.

If you have a problem with these…

If you have a problem with these products, you have a real problem as they do not react at all. So no info on repairs, spares, ... neither to the wholesaler, installer or client. They seem to not exist anymore.

Unicorn

Having purchased many great products from TD I am very disappointed with my latest experience.
Trying to get hold of Customer services is like tracking down a unicorn. Both are non existence.
Filled out the returns form on line as per procedure and TD policy. 3 days later still no reply. Called the customer service number. We are currently closed is the automated reply. I have made several calls all with the same outcome.
I have now raised a dispute with my credit card provider. No doubt that will wake them up.
Really need to sort Customer service levels out. It's not like I have purchased a product from a car boot sale....although it certainly feels like it.

Lamp does not switch off

Lamp does not switch off. Purchased 2 bell table lamps to be used for bedside lighting but the lamp remains lighted after fully switching off dimmer switch? I thought it was a dimmer switch defect but it’s the same for both lamps?
