Spoke with Lewis R, very helpful very informative and was very easy to talk to and very friendly. Myself and mypartner have been putting off life insurance and critical illness cover and started shopping around. I wasn’t sure what I needed or what was required i thought it would be a lot more expensive which was a reason i wasnt too keen at the moment and i was definitely wrong. I appreciate your time and the very prompt call after putting in an enquiry online.

Pushy cold callers
I filled out the online form for a quote, hoping for a rough idea of a price, but ended up being a return phone call.
Guy on the phone was really nice and helpful going through all the details and questions (in a way which was really helpful considering I don’t know anything about life insurance), and gave me the price, which I was quite happy with but I hadn’t compared any other companies which is always best to do. After telling the salesman that I would like to think about it and that I was at work, he switched to a very pushy salesman and became condescending like it was the price or cover amount.
After finishing the phone and leaving it that I would call back if I wanted to take out the policy. Few days later received another phone call, pushy salesman, condescending about not having time to talk to him, left it as I would call them if I decided to take out the policy.
Now I just get cold calls pretty much daily from this company despite saying I don’t want to be contacted.
AVOID filling out your information on their website unless you want to be cold called everyday. Pushy salesman clearly only earn through commission!
Even if they were the best quote I won’t be using this company and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone

Amazing experience
I enquired about insurance after seeing an ad about Tom online, after reading some reviews I decided to get in touch.
I was contacted by Umesh whilst I was at work, asked him to please call me back later when at home. He called on time (even though i forgot) and went through a quote with me, answered all my questions and proved me with all the information I needed. After receiving the quote I asked for Umesh to call me the next day so I could discuss the quote with my wife to make sure everything was in budget.
Umesh called as requested at the time I asked and set everything up for me, answered the extra questions i had thought of and also talked me through setting up my account on the app so I could view my documents and make any amendments if needed.
Umesh was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the product. I recommend Tom so far to people looking for life insurance as that 'just in case'

Excellent service and wonderful staff
I phoned up today to just see if I would even be covered as with the mortgage broker we tried a few options but noone would offer cover but I phoned Tom just to see and Jonathan Cartlidge was very helpful and kind and informative we got my cover sorted no problem which was a welcome surprise after being rejected he made sure I understood what everything meant and was kind and cheery and I will 100% be recommending Tom to my friends and work colleagues

Joseph has been an absolute angel!!
Joseph has been an absolute angel. We have finally managed to seal the deal today pending a long awaited medical appointment. Joseph still remembered me 3 months later, he certainly uses his CRM efficiently. All jokes aside, he was very humorous and certainly gave the human to human connection we are all so desperate for from companies these days. He most certainly carried the ethos of the Tom brand with him at every interaction.
