Okay service (did the job!) but needed revisit next day
The reason i give four is because locksmith had to come back again. My dad had a key break in lock and lock got all changed out they charged £150. I was told this when calling up. The main problem was the alignment in the door but the locksmith didn’t fix the alignment so when trying to lock door it wouldn’t lock my dad was left without door locking. It also didn’t latch either. I called up they sent engineer (same one) back again but he fixed the alignment and the managed to fix my dad’s door. This should have been fixed on the day same day and had to have revisit but at least they came back sort it and didn’t charge my dad for second visit or for door to be realigned

Replacing a door lock after a scam…
Replacing a door lock after a scam outfit had conned an elderly disabled lady in her eighties . Arranged an appointment to have the lock changed the young man that turned up found the lock to be fitted badly and with dodgy workmanship. He arrived was very polite and was not happy with what he saw and had been done. He did say the lock that had been fitted was decent but the main difference was the cost con men £549 for the lock and Timpson £69 for the same thing , he set to and replaced the lock and did an excellent job . Cannot fault him or his workmanship , very grateful to him for making a vulnerable lady safe again in her flat. The lady in question asked me to post a review as I was there to oversee and to say a big thank you for a good job.

Timson's Excellent Customer Service
Timson managed to loose my car key that they were replacing; however, their efforts in sorting out the problem were nothing short of superb. Their customer support agent, Joanne, was so helpful. Thank you.
Hence the 5star rate even though the problem started off with a lost item!

£200 to not fix a lock
I waited all day for someone to come and fix the front door. They wrongly diagnosed the problem. Spent two hours on the job and left having charged me £200 for not fixing my door. I honestly feel like I've just been robbed. And worse - I've had to call another locksmith out because I can't safely lock my home. Appalling
