Lived up to expectations
Recently purchased a vehicle from Tim Hayward. Couldn't ask for a more helpful service than we received, particularly as our original visit had to be cancelled (weather) and there was no problem in rearranging. When we arrived the vehicle was ready for us to view and was in excellent condition and well presented. Have now had it for a couple of weeks and fully satisfied - wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tim Hayward Car Sales to anyone looking for a good buy.

Tristan was polite, made us feel welcome as soon as we entered the forecourt. There was no pushing for me to buy the veichle just let me and the hubby have a look round.. I'm over the moon with purchase. Tristan was honest and knowledgeable. Can't thank him enough that I got a car that I have always wanted... nothing was to much trouble and kept to his word aswell.. I had a few problems with my car but Tim and the team stuck by their warranty and paid for anything that was required and that's amazing. The only reason it's not 4 stars is because I wish id gone for a different car as I think mine wasn't looked after by its previous owners.

Very pleased with one exception
Very pleased with the car with one exception. The front tyres are pretty worn and will need renewing soon. I paid nearly £27000 cash for it and would have expected a couple of new tyres on the car for that money. I've had them priced at £120 each so it wouldn't have been a fortune. If I had been in Cardiff instead of buying online I would have asked for them to be renewed before I bought.

Hi Roger, Firstly I would like to thank you for finding the time to leave feedback. It was myself who you originally spoke with on New Years Eve, and enjoyed our conversation that day. Looking back at our records, we carried out a pre delivery inspection that recorded the tyres to be 4mm across the breadth on both front tyres, and 5mm across the breadth of the rear tyres. Our SOP (Standard Opperating Proceedure) is to replace any tyres that measure below 3mm, with the legal limit being 1.6mm. Therefore we wouldnt of looked at replacing them. Due to your feedback we are currently talking about the feasibility of mentioning tyre depths within our descriptions to avoid any dissapopintments moving forward. Im glad you are enjoying your car, and hope in reflection of this, we havent dampened to posibility of doing business with you again. Wish you all the best.

Just bought an E Class off Tim Hayward and couldn't be more delighted ! The car is better then described, the service was excellent and the communication throughout was second to none. Wouldn't hesitate to refer to anyone thinking of buying a quality used car. The main dealers could learn a thing or two from these guys.

I bought the car unseen but was reassured by Tristan that it was in great condition. He was professional, friendly and very helpful by sorting my tax, number plate change all on the phone. It was the right decision as the car was perfect when Peter the driver delivered it. He drove 180 miles to deliver the car to me in Sussex, and he too was extremely friendly and professional, what a lovely man!

Courteous and helpful service.
From initial enquiries, viewing and test drive of the vehicle to purchase and home delivery the service offered by Tristan was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and not at all pushy.
Hopefully we will not need to test the after service offered by the warranty, at this point in time happy to recommend and would use again.

I don't know where to start, I can't recommend these people enough. Such a friendly and helpful team even picking me up from Cardiff train station. Absolutely no pressure or BS sales tactics. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends. Such nice cars on the lot too.
