Great experience with TL from start to finish, we picked up our new campervan and the handover was straight forward and very easy, Kevin was great to deal with!

We recently purchased a camper van from Thompson’s and we couldn’t put into words how happy we are with our entire experience. From the first contact to the final collection we have been looked after so well. Looking forward to many happy camping years with our gorgeous new camper- thank you Sam, Joelle, Niall, Alexander and all the team at Thompson’s. Would highly recommend. Cathy & Tom

I have just viewed and purchased a motor home from Thompsons leisure through Niall.

I went one Thursday to view and found many different models ranging in price. Niall helped direct me to a motor home that was suitable to my needs and experience. I found his advice and expertise to be welcoming with no hard sell. Niall handled my finance application and hand over which was seamless and easy.

I thank him for that and will be back to upgrade

Charlotte looked after us so well from start to finish as we purchased our new motor home. Her customer service and friendly disposition made the whole process so easy. We felt very well looked after and she was so responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend Thompsons .

We recently acquired our very first motorhome from Thompson Leisure, and the service we received was outstanding from beginning to end. Niall Grego, the Sales Manager, was incredibly supportive and provided assistance at every step. On the day we received our motorhome, Michael did an excellent job, and Bert was incredibly helpful with the final paperwork. Given how positive our experience has been, we anticipate becoming regular customers. A big thank you to the entire team!

Rushed, no interest to talk, dismissed, bad experience, pity!!

They made arrangements for us to view a motorhome but cancelled saying it wasn't back from workshop, this went on for a few weeks. We were to look at two motorhomes only to discover the second one was sold. My Dad bought a motorhome off them years ago and they were second to none but obviously have gone downhill since. Was extremely disappointed.
We went to another company who were amazing from start to finish.

We recently purchased a Campervan from Thompson Leisure. Having called in to view what was available we were looked after by Charlotte who spent the afternoon showing us a number of possibilities. We decided on a Rapido Dreamer and went through a few additional items we wanted fitted. Charlotte was very helpful in everything we needed. She kept us informed on the progress and the arrange a date for collection. She meet us at the service centre on the day of collection and ensured everything was ready and suitable for us. Charlotte made the whole process very easy and we fully appreciate the time she took to deal with us throughout.

I purchased a new campervan from Thompson Leisure at the NEC motorhome show last October, I had gone with the intention of buying from another large company but got talking to Kevin on the Thompson stand who was extremely knowledgeable & offered a very competitive price, I was happy to make my first purchase with this company
The purchasing experience was outstanding, smooth & Kevin’s communication was absolutely excellent, he kept me up to date throughout the manufacturing process & delivery timings, this was very important & reassuring to me as buying a motorhome/campervan is such a large investment, Kevin took care of all the necessary paperwork prior to delivery & the campervan was ready in the agreed timescale
On delivery the campervan had a few minor snagging issues (as with a lot of new vehicles & not the fault of Thompsons) but the aftersales once Robert got involved was fantastic (what a knowledgeable guy) the issues were resolved with ease & the aftersales from Robert left me feeling very confident that purchasing from Thompson Leisure was the right decision
Thompson leisure are a one stop shop for Motorhomes/Campervans, they have a huge stock of new & used vehicles & have everything covered onsite to make your purchase & aftercare smooth
Although based in Northern Ireland (a short drive from Belfast airport) I noticed at the Nec show & at their showroom premises that they also have a lot of purchasers from England & Scotland, if you are purchasing a motorhome/Campervan I would recommend getting a quote from here

We rented a motorhome from Thompson Leisure for a 2 week road trip around Ireland. Customer service was great and the motorhome was spotless and everything in great working order. Steph was super helpful and quick to respond to any queries in the run up to our holiday and was there at pick up and drop off making everything seamless with the rental. Thanks to Thompson Leisure for giving us a holiday to remember.

Thompsons found a serious issue with my campervan’s ceiling board during its annual check. Thanks to their expertise, they identified and fixed the problem perfectly. Robert kept me in the loop throughout the process and ensured the van was vacuumed, cleaned, and returned to its original condition. It was a relief to know the van was in good hands.

Many thanks to Thompson Leisure for the first class service I received from them recently when hiring one of their motorhomes, which when provided was very clean and well maintained. They were friendly, helpful and very professional. Pick up and drop off was seamless thanks to Steph and Sarah, and thanks also to Alex for your time. I'm very happy to recommend Thompson Leisure to my family and friends and look forward to doing business with you again in the future.

First class service from start to finish. Charlotte was absolutely fantastic to deal with when I was trying to decide what to do and what to buy. This is my first motorhome and I’d recommend anyone to go to Thompsons as the whole process was seamless from start to finish as they do all the heavy lifting for you when it comes to registrations, vrt etc etc. The lead in time was very short too. After sales service very good too. All in all a great experience.

Brilliant experience! Already planning the next trip. I was a bit nervous as it was my 1st time, that didn't last long as the hand over was really professional and reassuring... Thank you TLL

We buought a camper with Thompson's.We paid a deposit, the van was to be handed over 2/3weeks after a full service, timing belt replacement, full check,habitation etc.
This got pushed out, on the day we did go to collection it turned out they forgot to service it and no VRT done,we paid balance as we trusted it was just an oversight.
The technician came out to show us around the van,unfortunately when we asked a few questions he said just play around with it!!We pointed out the door was jammed,he got a colleague and he said just hit it with your shoulder! As we went to drive away the seatbelt came away which then had to be fixed, part of the seat was broken and they said they would repair when doing the service.I asked for the locknut key for the wheels a 3rd guy came out and this could not be found so van would have to go back to Ford for it to be recut.The oil light on the dash was showing which I pointed out at test drive.
Fast forward they sent us home with a van with no electric cable, no wheel brace and no jack, the water pump wasn't working so no running water.
This is where we asked for our money back and Alexander Thompson contacted me personally to assure me everything would be fixed and apologies he would personally check everything if I made a snag list.
So Thompson picked up van, when it came back the oil light still on, the part of the seat that was broken was actually sitting on the table not repaired,Alex sent me a video to show me water working "don't mind the splutter it's will run through" Nope the van was showing up faults with water, I sent Alex the codes.The oil leak which I pointed out not fixed and destroyed me cobble lock.
The van went back a third time and it still was not VRTed.This time they lost a spare set of keys and when it did come back it was filthy and the shower door seal was hanging off!! The guy that brought the van back actually said he wouldn't have taken van back in that state.Alexander Thompson now stopped taken calls and returning emails.
We ended up taken delivery of the van in the middle of June, he wanted the warranty to start at the first delivery date even though it wasn't serviced or VRT done or in working order.We got 2 personnel loans to purchase our dream van and we have had it away twice, only this week it turns out the bumper was already in a bang and screwed back on and siliconed back to the body which I didn't know at the time of purchase as I'm not experienced with campers.Alexander says this isn't covered under warranty but he offered me extended warranty if we took down our review, the warranty was through the winter months when the van would be in storage.We declined as myself and my wife feel people need to be aware of Alexander Thompson and his business,we would not want anyone to go through the same experience as ourselfs.The spare key they forgot to get cut, posted down a uncut key I have to get cut and reprogrammed and send him the bill!!Please take time to read all Thompson reviews here and on Google thank you
