I must admit I was nervous about this order after checking here on TP. I always mean to check here first before parting with a lot of money , but my slab of rib eye roast has just been delivered beautifully packed with ice packs and insulated wrap. It looks beautiful and just what I would have expected.

I have been using Thomas Ridley for a while now, mainly for clearance items as the price reductions are very helpful for me.
The staff are always very nice and friendly, cheerful and pleasant to speak to.
A couple of times there has been less of the items available than I ordered so I instantly get refunded after I pick the food up. There was some confusion today with the amount I payed for compared to what I was given so I had to give them a call as I didn't receive a refund like usual. The woman instantly sorted the problem out for me and even sent the delivery man over to amend the order.
I hope they carry on letting me make small orders as it really helps people like myself on low income.

I’ve been a customer of Thomas Ridley for over 20 years the family owned company use the finest of ingredients and really put the customer first. However since the bid food acquisition the customer service and product quality has gone out the window.

I called Customer service before placing an order of 10kg of a product to check detail, dispatch and arrival dates. I received 2kg of a totally different and incorrect product in a damaged box. On contacting customer services on 21/12; they advised their company was unable to send replacement items in time for Christmas day and were only able to offer a refund. The customer service agent displayed a nonchalant manner. Thereafter ot was recorded, ‘customer requested order to be cancelled’, probably to prevent me leaving a negative review on the EBay sales platform. A thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience. I would suggest to all other potential customers not to waste your time and, or your money
Awful just awful
Order placed on 12/10. No sign of it. Item looks like it's out of stock but no one told me this. So many emails sent to them asking for a refund, every single one ignored so now have to go through PayPal to lodge a complaint to get my money back which could take up to a month. Absolutely awful and total and utter contempt for their customers as they just totally ignore you.
I ordered waffle cones which came BROKEN
I ordered, through OnBuy, a box of 200 waffle cones. These arrived, but approximately 170 were broken. I contacted OnBuy, who did not reply to any of my messages for two weeks. I also emailed Thomas Ridley. I had to purchase another box of cones from a different supplier.
It was only when I raised a complaint though PayPal that both companies were, suddenly and miraculously, able to respond finally!
No apology from OnBuy and a grudging apology from Thomas Ridley.
Absolutely SHOCKING that a paying customer is treated like this.
Computer says no
Today was the third attempt by Thomas Ridley, to deliver to me 6 boxes of Duck Spring Rolls that I had paid for. For the 3rd time I got 1 box.
I don't care who they blame, the companies' systems are at fault.
The first twice, instead of just sending the missing
five boxes; they had to refund me for five boxes, I had to reorder the package of 6, then claim a refund for the frozen packaging and delivery.
"Computer says no" comes to mind.
This time I caught the delivery driver and refused delivery, so the box will be returned to them.
I wait with bated breath to see what happens now.

Terrible Terrible Service
Terrible, terrible service! I ordered cox apples and they sent me royal gala. They would not answer any of my emails. I am stuck with these apples which I do not eat. After interacting with them, I feel cheated. I should have checked trustpilot before ordering them!

Selling Cheese Covered in Mould
I’m still In shock, they sold me two large Mouldy Bags of Vegan Cheese, which was only realised after me my family had already consumed some of it on the day of delivery, and now im having to constantly email them just to get a refund with Zero apology what so ever, this is last time i will be ordering from them as this is totally unacceptable.

Bought pork ribs , as advertised .6kg, delivered .5kg. The packing box came wet as the internal ice pack had melted.
Company contacted and took a day to reply asking for photos , we binned all as due to the packing and it being pork could not trust the ribs.
Dealing with this company is shockingly bad, we bought this via Amazon .

DO NOT use this company if you rely on a large number of goods to keep your business running. They are quite possibly liars as well as a poorly run company.
Over the last 5 months, 4 massive orders have just not appeared. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt as the staff on the phones tried their best to be helpful, and sounded genuine but honestly- how you can lose 100kgs of goods at a time? And no one had any idea if it had even left the warehouse or not a couple of times.
Twice now we have had to cancel over a grands worth of orders going out for our business, because the butter order didnt arrive- after being (literally) promised it would be sent next day.The stress this company have caused me and my business is a joke. They also operate on amazon under a different name so watch out

I have ordered from here before and goods came next day and we’re lovely. Ordered frozen apple pie and banoffee pie last week for delivery on Friday. Tried calling to order by phone. They can’t do that. I am trade but you can only guarantee next day delivery if you spend over £200. You can’t pay extra for this service which is ridiculous. The goods were sent out on Friday and were delivered today totally defrosted and squashed. 3 days out of freezer and no ice packs in box!!! Nothing holding cakes in place so had been thrown all over box. Returned with courier!!
