Called the corporate office to send a diamond 5000 dollar bracelet to the Dallas store so I could pick up on a 4 hour trip from home to Dallas . They sent the bracelet to the Dallas store and text me to tell me it had arrived. I told them what date I was coming to Dallas . So I took Sunday off from my job to make the trip to Dallas and took out a loan to pay for braclet. Took one last look at it this morning and it said SOLD. No one bothered to contact me about the sale. Glad I looked or I would have made a 4 hour trip for nothing. Shitty way to do your customers. I’ll never buy shit from the real real again.

PLEASE DONT SALE CLOTHES THAT ARE USE AND WITH THE WRONG SIZE!! WILL NEVER USE THE REAL REAL AGAIN

The RealReal never disappoints, the buying and selling experience is great. My husband even tells everyone how much I love TRR, amazing !

I consigned over 60 items with The RealReal, including a Gucci dress with its original belt and a Tory Burch dress with its matching necklace.

When I checked the listings, I discovered:
• The Gucci dress was listed without the belt, which is part of the original design and drastically reduces the value. Instead of listing closer to $534 (as seen elsewhere), they listed mine for $248 without the belt.
• My Tory Burch dress was paired with the wrong necklace—a completely different designer necklace I consigned separately, valued at $1,200. They listed the necklace with the dress for only $40.

I contacted customer service multiple times, provided photos, and explained the situation in detail. I was told they “could not locate” the Gucci belt and was offered only $15–$30 in “compensation.” As for the necklace, they have not returned it, despite my clear demand.

This is a serious breach of trust. Under Texas consignment laws, consignors retain ownership until items are sold correctly. Mishandling, misplacing, or devaluing items is unacceptable. I’ve given The RealReal multiple chances to resolve this, but communication has been slow and dismissive.

⚠️ Warning to others: Be very careful consigning with The RealReal. Document everything, because if something goes missing or is mishandled, you may never see it again—and their “compensation” will not come close to the actual loss.

The service in which you send someone to the home is priceless. Jillian Lear was our rep and she was exceptional!! She was respectful, considerate, patient and very kind! She displayed true professionalism. Her sensitivity to our situation was so appreciated. We needed to dismantle my deceased Mother's closet and it took multiple trips over several months. I am so grateful for the help I received from Jillian and the financial return on Mom's wardrobe!!

I really like the entire process - both selling with and buying from The Real Real. When buying, I like that I know the item is authentic and they do a good job of taking pictures of the actual condition of the item. When selling, I live close to a brick-and-mortar location and it’s worth the fees to be able to walk in, hand them my item(s) and know that the photos, listings, and shipping is going to be handled. The fees are a little high and the initial processing is a little slow, but both are worth getting my things into the resale market without any headaches.

I bought a Stella McCartney Elyse shoe in size 11 us, 41 IT. I have another pair of the same shoe but it runs large. The shoe I received will not even fit half way my leg. The size is not written any where. It looks like a size 8. It is totally wrong for you guys to have sent me the wrong shoe size considering the fact that the Elyse runs large
