Always a good session with Letzia De Mori, I always come out feeling better in myself, she made me realise certain things I have never realised before that’s impacted my mental health for many years, Letizia is always so compassionate, understanding and professional, seeing Letizia for therapy gives me that safe space I need to be open, I’ve had therapy in the past from childhood to adulthood, I’ve never been able to find a good therapist until now that gives me the right tools I need to help with my mental health and that I can trust, after so many issues with the NHS being pushed from pillow to post, I now feel safe in myself, positive and finally a therapist who I can trust and be open with without feeling on edge. Highly recommend.

My son was assessed on the 10th of August. I was told it would take up to 4 weeks to receive the report (which is already a long time for a private assessment). It has been nearly 6 weeks and I have not received anything. I contacted the Clinic by email and text messages on multiple occasions but no one is giving me any update. I need the report for school. It is very easy to arrange an appointment with this Clinic but once you have paid, the customer service is very poor. There is no accountability and no one seems to care. I am now getting concerned about the quality of the assessment and the report I will receive. When someone is so unreliable, it raises serious questions about their professionalism and expertise.

After surviving two decades of severe domestic violence abuse, I finally made the brave decision to seek therapy. My first session was with Dr. Alex Pavlovic, and I found it incredibly therapeutic, offering a profound sense of relief and validation I hadn't realised I desperately needed. Dr. Alex Pavlovic immediately put me at ease; he was incredibly easy to talk to and, crucially, there was no sense of judgment, particularly concerning the years I spent existing in a state of denial about my situation. This compassionate understanding allowed me to speak freely without shame. He didn't just hear my words; he truly listened. Coupled with his knowledge, which he applied with incredible sensitivity and insight, Dr. Pavlovic provided clarity and perspective that helped untangle years of emotional complexity. For anyone who has gone through prolonged trauma, particularly domestic violence, I highly recommend Dr. Alex Pavlovic; he is, without reservation, exactly the right person, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

At first , the service seemed promising . As a new client , they were responsive and called whenever I requested. But things took a serious turn for the worse after my child`s ADHD assessment .The report was delayed , despite being told it would take 3- 4 weeks . Meanwhile , my child needed urgent medication , and getting in touch with anyone has been an absolute nightmare . Calls go unanswered , WhatsApp messages are ignored , and there`s no clear way to speak with the psychiatrist .
We paid £700 , expecting a higher standard than NHS . Unfortunately the customer service has been worse , with no real support or follow- through exactly what you don`t want when your child needs care .
If you are looking for specialist who are actually available and care about your child`s wellbeing , I strongly recommend looking elsewhere . This clinic has not lived up to its promises .

I paid for my child to have an ADHD assessment. This report is utterly useless as it was incomplete, does not adhere to NICE guidelines, and cannot be used by psychiatrists, paediatricians or any other medical doctor. Their initial response to my complaint was dismissive and inaccurate ( which seems to be a pattern with others who have complained). They have not answered my response, and I even emailed the owner, she didn't reply either.
They are NOT CQC registered and I find no record of the psychologist who did the report being registered with the HCPC ( they say their psychologists are). Therefore they are not regulated by anyone.
Utterly disgusting.
My child now has to be reassessed and we have lost so much time and money. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS HORRIFIC CLINIC. .

Had an appointment, paid over £300 and the doctor didn’t turn up. Nobody answers the phone and they can’t get hold of them on WhatsApp either.

I found this really distressing as I’d psyched myself up all day for what would be an awkward conversation for me.

Initial service was good. Timely manner re appointment/cost reasonable for an ADHD assessment.

However, every communication for the last two years has been incredibly painful. Cannot get through on the phone, emails take days, sometimes weeks to get a response. Even then there is no continuity. Its as if none of the staff have read the email thread - asking me what my current prescription is??? Going over the same ground every time. Giving no straight/definitive answers. Not even reading the emails correctly!

Definitely needs sorting out. I obviously have ADHD - completely unnecessary to confuse/dysregulate me even more!!!

This company saved my life.

This company is an absolute joke.
I was very clear when I made the referral what I needed from the appointment.
My son already had a diagnosis for ASD as well as an EHCP and we are already going to tribunal. The point of the appointment with Dr Vjosa, which I made clear to her was that I needed advice on how to best help Tien particularly his anxiety and advice for schooling. I was advised to pay the £1350 for the ASD assessment to which they would include recommendations for his anxiety and schooling. The assessment lasted only 40 minutes from the 2 hours it was quoted and the report does nothing of what I asked.
We spent £1350 to be told exactly what we already know. This report offers nothing new based on the 1:1 meeting I had and was told the report would contain.
I am in the process of taking this matter to court as they aren’t covered by any reputable authority or ombudsman, basically anyone can open up a clinic and charge you for a service.
Please avoid this clinic at all costs. I’ll be posting my review everywhere to warn people and stop this clinic from practicing!!!

Update: The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) actually said they cannot get involved in the misleading actions of Dr Vjosa, selling an assessment that was not needed. I’ve been advised to put this claim through the small claims court which I’ll be doing. I’m looking forward to making a social media post about this company so other innocent people do not fall fowl to their disgusting behaviour. I’ll tag the clinic so they can be shamed.

*Update 22/08/2025 - I welcome the day in court to shame you for your underhanded, dishonest behaviour. The so called doctor knew we were going to tribunal, and yet did not recommend a medico-legal report at the consultation, I paid separately for. The two bullet points that were added to the report are proof that you knew you did wrong and tried a makeshift response. You should have advised me to get a medico-legal report in the first instance, especially as the child already had a diagnosis for autism and an EHCP. Your doctor lied and mis-sold an assessment that was not needed and I have the emails to prove it. SEE YOU IN COURT!

A nightmare really. I had an initial assessment with a psychiatrist for 340£ 5 weeks ago and my report was still not delivered. But it’s a minor problem. The bigger issue is that after a follow up consultation, the psychiatrist told that he would prescribe me a medication as I’m running out of tablets and that he share a fit for work for my employer. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s a radio silence. I have only a couple pills left and I have no idea what to do. My employer is demanding a fit note and I can’t provide it.

Very friendly and helpful. My daughter had an ADHD and ASD assessment with DrLetizia and she has been amazing, very understanding and caring. I felt like she could feel the amount of stress I was under even though the appointment was for my daughter I felt like she cared for both of us. She explains things very well and gives good advice.
Building is easy to find and get to and it is very well maintained.

I paid £340 for an hour assessment, that only actually lasted 40 minutes. I had my assessment on 26th July 2024 and was advised the report would take 3-4 weeks to be sent to me. There is an additional £170 fee should you want your report fast-tracking however the fast track is still a period of 10 days minimum so not very fast track in my opinion. I consulted with the admin team via email, 3 weeks and 4 days after my assessment, as I had a GP appointment and felt it could’ve contributed towards what I was discussing with my GP. I was told I could pay the £170, and my report may ‘possibly’ be ready for the following day, but with no guarantee. I decided not to do this as my report should’ve been ready on 23rd August at the latest anyway. So fast forward to the 23rd Aug, still no report. Emailed admin again and was told the doctor who completed mr assessment had assured my report would be ready by 6pm and this would be sent to me via email. No report arrived. 27th Aug, assured again that report would be sent to me at 6pm. Now on the 28th Aug and still have no report even though an admin told me they would send it straight away this morning.

In my opinion, you are better off saving your money and going through NHS. I thought going private would reduce the stress of these assessments significantly, however it has done the complete opposite. Baring in mind this service is for mental health conditions, all this experience has caused me is additional, unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Although admin are relatively quick at responding, information provided is neither reliable or precise. It seems as though there is a significant lack of communication between admin and professionals, which is then misleading customers.

At this point I feel like I’m not even going to receive my report!!!

Horrendous. I had been advised during an assessment that I likely had ADHD and wanted to try medication. Had a consultation with a psychiatrist at the PTC, who confirmed suspicions and then wrote a report which was basically just the information I had given, along with several spelling mistakes and errors… I was reassured that I would be able to get my GP to continue the meds as per shared care based on this, however this was incorrect. I have had several emails back and forth with the PTC asking for basic information to be sent which I could send on to the GP (the PTC won’t liaise with your GP directly) and over and over again was sent completely incorrect info, such as a letter asking the GP to complete tests before I was started on meds by the PTC, in spite of the fact that the PTC had been sending me meds for 2 months already and all I had asked for was something to confirm the dose I was on. I imagine this may have been due to the fact that the PTC started me on meds without an ECG/ blood test etc, but don’t know for sure… anyway, I am currently without medication because the GP won’t provide it based on the flimsy info sent by the PTC, I paid the PTC for another prescription out of desperation on Monday due to running out, the PTC claim to have sent me a prescription but here we are Friday and it has not materialised. I have never been able to call and speak to anyone as the number just goes to voicemail, and although I went to the PTC because I know how ridiculous waiting times are at the moment for NHS assessments, you really won’t save that much time and definitely won’t save money or hassle by going through the PTC.

Not only was the psychiatrist appointment beyond helpful, but the entire administrative team have been very fast in replying back and were very kind/gentle with their help.
The psychiatrist created a safe place and was very intent and thorough with their listening.
Finding this clinic was a blessing.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY PROMISE YOU THE WORLD, CHAGE THE EARTH AND THEN DON'T EVEN ABSWER THE PHONE ONE WHEN YOU NEED YOUR HELP - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

After being let down by the NHS for 3 years my daughter had to search for help from the private sector. Having suffered with undiagnosed ADHD without medication was terrible. As a father i seached to find the right clinic to help my daughter to a long road of treatment, i found The Private Therapy Clinic. Im so glad i chose them to help my daughter. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable making the whole process effortless. My daughter was given the Psychiatrist, Dr. Daniela Herescu. A really amazing person after my daughters first consultation i saw the relief on her face, as a father it was a total relief. She was given the result we all knew. She is now having follow up appointments and prescribed medication. Very hopeful of her future. I can't thank The Private Therapy Clinic enough. Highly recommended.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews but my experience with PTC and one of their psychiatrists saved my life. All of the private psychiatrists in the UK refused to take over my case as my main psychiatrist is located in Spain and since 2019 I had to travel to Malaga to receive my prescription (plus short psychiatric treatment + IV drips). However after the changes in European regulations on travelling with medication (no more than 2 months supply) and also experiencing financial issues during that time, I was unable to get my main prescription. Even though I've been taking my medication for many years and been under psychiatric treatment since 2019 under the supervision of head psychiatrist & owner of the private psychiatric clinic in San Pedro, no NHS doctor wanted to help me.
So first time since the beginning of my treatment in 2019, I was off 4 out of 5 of my medications, I only had tranquillizes for my severe insomnia but no antidepressants, no mood stabilisers, no anti psychotics nor lisdexamfetamine. And due to me physically & mentally being unable to be off my antidepressant, I had ongoing psychosis+ withdrawal effects for 2 months, and also 3 suicide attempts for the first time since 2019. Right after my 3rd attemp, the next morning I received an email from PTC asking if I want an appointment with Dr. D Herescu (in 2 days) and I of course agreed. Dr. Daniela understood my issue straight away and I'm not exaggerating but she is the doctor who saved my life. When majority of UK psychiatrists have the same toxic prejudice towards patients with BPD & Bipolar & C-PTSD, Dr Daniela was the first UK doctor who acted in professional manner and not only she immediately understood the nature of my problems, she actually helped me. She didn't hesitate, she helped and continues helping and I can't thank enough for what Dr. Daniela has done for me. My medication is the main thing that keeps me alive and now I'm able to get my prescription without travelling to Spain every couple of months.

I also wanted to say big thank you for all of the PTC employees who was in contact with me from the beginning and helping me through out the process.

Scam - don’t waste your time

I sought an ADHD diagnosis after reaching my wits end during 2021. From previous therapy with a different provider, I knew that ADHD was highly likely and so did my reading and decided I needed to know for sure whether I had this wiring, so that adjustments could be made going forward and I could reclaim some of my life after being undiagnosed for almost forty years.

The initial service was fast and the waiting list wasn't too bad; I was happy to wait as I knew there had been an explosion in people - particularly adult females - seeking diagnosis. Later on I experienced receptionists & assistants who weren't organised and lost things I'd sent in, which if you have ADHD you will know places considerable strain on you trying to figure out what and where and get around to sending it again. I felt the clinic lacked some professionalism in that respect.

I sent off lots of writing for the pre-assessment questionnaires and it proved enough for the psychiatrist to agree that I displayed symptoms and behaviours that were highly suggestive of ADHD.

When the time came to speak with the psychiatrist it was as though they weren't really familiar with my case, and hadn't had time to thoroughly read everything I had written. I wasn't asked for school/childhood evidence and instead provided this voluntarily, but it was never mentioned in talking. I had thought from my research that this was essential to diagnosis.

I knew that I wanted to try medication and that was easy enough to rearrange, but if you're not used to private healthcare you need to bear in mind that you only get one month's meds included in your fee, and every repeat prescription (which are short at first while you settle on a drug) cost £90, then you need to pay for medication at the pharmacy. For a non-stimulant it works out at around £50 per box, more for stimulants and higher doses. If, like me, you are so far gone in life in terms of undiagnosed ADHD knock-on effects that your finances are in tatters, you need to be prepared for this.

As part of the assessment there is no talking therapy included, and the psychiatrist doing the assessment doesn't have much time to get to know you. It's a stop gap to get support while you wait for the NHS and worth it if you want to confirmation, but don't expect the kind of help that you need - this will be up to you.

Overall I'm thankful to have my suspicions confirmed, to be able to advocate for myself more and learn how my brain works, and the reading that I've done on this had brought up the possibility that I might also be autistic, but I will pursue assistance with this elsewhere.

The report that I got for my GP at the end seemed rushed and contained several inaccuracies, and was essentially my pre-assessment writing regurgitated back to me with the pronouns changed to my name to make it third person. This was less than impressive.

Overall, as someone who's been lucky enough to have had really good private therapy before, I was disappointed with the service. However, I suppose it did what it said on the tin, albeit with much disorganisation.

Would give no stars if I could. I spoke on the phone and gave personal information as requested because I was told that I had to in order to get an appointment that would cost me one thousand five hundred pounds and in spite of being polite and sending information as requested I am now ignored completely and am in tears over their ignorance. it is exceptionally cruel of a team of psychologists to ignore someone who turned to them to speak to someone only to be ignored. AVOID these people at all costs. The least they could have done would be to make a polite phonecall to say that they couldn't accept the booking and explain why.
