Stand-out staff members!
I visited the Darlington store the day before my son's birthday for some last-minute advice and purchases for a scent-obsessed teenager. Ann and Louise went above and beyond, helping me choose from a list of fragrances my son had suggested and patiently guiding me through my indecision.
Their customer service was outstanding - friendly, professional, relatable, and genuinely funny. Compared with other stores I visited that day, they really stood out. They made me feel valued, never rushed, and turned what could have been a stressful shopping trip into a great experience.
I left with a beautifully gift-wrapped present, and my son was absolutely delighted with it. Ann and Louise are a real credit to the store. Thank you both! ❤️

I bought a travel perfume atomiser prior to a holiday, paid £9.99 in cash.
I didn't keep receipt because I expected it to work.
Once filled it evaporated the perfume.
I asked for an exchange as it was faulty, could see on the counter the product. They refused to exchange.
So for a few quid , they have lost any future purchases. Poor customer service.

Hello Sandra,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
I am very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate how disappointing it must have been to find that your travel atomiser did not perform as expected, particularly when it was purchased for use ahead of your holiday.
I also understand your frustration regarding the outcome when you returned to store seeking assistance. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have.
If you have not already done so, please reach out to our Customer Service team via our website so that we can look into this matter further for you and review the circumstances in more detail.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment caused, and we hope to have the opportunity to assist you further.
Kind regards,
Jasmyn

I was made to feel welcome firstly
I was made to feel welcome firstly, and a smile and pleasant tone from Beth was nice to see as I work in retail also. Overall Beth was fantastic, I wasn't made to wait, had suggestions for items that actually suited my taste, even though I'm not known to Beth, and service was quick and efficient. Well done Beth.

Sophie was absolutely delightful, helping us choose the perfect perfume for our niece’s birthday present. Inclusive of birthday wrapping meant the whole process was so easy; and with free samples included for us too, who could complain? Many thanks Sophie, we are sure to be back.
