Ik had voor een eenmalige actie een pdf nodig. Ik zou 0,99 euro betalen voor 1 pdf. Kon geen kwaad dacht ik. Verder heb ik helemaal geen gebruik meer van gemaakt van PDF Guru. De advertentie van PDF GURU benadrukt hun kosten niet. Ze verbergen hun maandelijkse kosten van 49,99 euro . Er worden geen herinneringen gestuurd. Inmiddels zijn aan mij 3 maanden maandelijks 49,99 euro in rekening gebracht. Heel erg misleidend aan de man gebracht. Had ik het geweten dan had ik het niet gedaan.
Ik wil daarom per direct mijn (onvrijwillige) abonnement opzeggen en dat de 3 maanden. abonnementskosten ook z.s.m worden teruggestort.

Een proef binnen een kwartier opgezegd.
Dat geld is ook direct teruggestort.
Nu wordt er maandelijks 49,99 automatisch geïncasseerd

Very disappointing experience with PDF Guru. I only used the service once, and it did not meet my expectations. I was later charged for a recurring subscription that I do not recall agreeing to, as the automatic renewal was not clearly disclosed during purchase.

I requested a refund, but they refused and only canceled future charges. The subscription process feels misleading. Please be careful and review the terms carefully before purchasing.

Pdfguru deserve no stars they are scammed. They scammed me of 49.99 I never authorized when they charged showed i told them I need my refund. When calling them no response. Tried their email and automated message service comes up with a guy name Tom which is a fraud. We need to take pdfguru to tge courts and legal claim companies for this scam to stop

This site is a scam. I paid $3 for a one-time conversion of a PDF to a Word doc, and a few days later I got hit with a USD 50 charge. Absolute scam.

I was very disappointed with this platform. My files were unable to download and then I was charged $49. There was no refund. It "appears" to be free but they are quick to grab your money after the 4 day trial period with no prewarning. Very dissatisfied customer.

All’inizio sono rimasta molto delusa perché mi sono ritrovata addebiti mensili per un piano che non avevo mai sottoscritto. Come altri utenti avevo infatti generato un file a 0.99 centesimi che poi si è trasformato in addebito non autorizzato di un piano tariffario mensile. Dopo il panico iniziale, leggendo le recensioni su Trustpilot, ho scoperto che c'era qualche possibilità di ottenere un rimborso e così ho contattato il servizio clienti. Dopo qualche resistenza iniziale sono riuscita a farmi rimborsare 4 rate su 5, un risultato più che buono, viste le premesse! Il supporto clienti ha risposto ogni volta in meno di un'ora, addirittura nel corso del fine settimana, e si è dimostrato sempre disponibile e gentile.

Consiglio a chi dovesse avere problemi simili di contattare direttamente l’assistenza con calma e chiarezza, perché nel mio caso hanno dimostrato disponibilità ad aiutare il cliente. La comunicazione è sempre stata infatti rapida e cortese.

Se posso dare un suggerimento, consiglio di mandare una mail di inizio addebito a chi, forse inconsapevolmente perché poco chiaro, sottoscrive un piano.

At first, I was very disappointed because I found myself facing monthly charges for a plan I had never knowingly subscribed to. Like many other users, I had generated a file for €0.99, which then turned into unauthorized charges for a monthly subscription plan.

After the initial panic, I read the reviews on Trustpilot and discovered that there was some chance of obtaining a refund, so I decided to contact customer support.

After some initial resistance, I managed to obtain refunds for 4 out of the 5 charges, which is actually a very good result considering the circumstances. Customer support replied every single time in less than an hour, even during the weekend, and they were always kind and helpful.

I would recommend that anyone experiencing a similar issue contact customer support directly in a calm and clear manner, because in my case they genuinely showed willingness to help the customer. Communication was always fast and courteous.

If I may offer one suggestion, I would recommend sending a notification email at the beginning of the subscription charges to customers who may have subscribed to a plan unintentionally, possibly because the subscription terms were not sufficiently clear.

le passage automatique d'une offre d'une semaine à 0.99€ à une offre à 49.99€ .
Rien n'est clairement indiqué et le support me fait entrer dans un cercle vicieux

Typical scam site, one off use, small one off fee. Then BANG!! your bank gets a large charge out of nowhere.

Na 1 x gebruik gemaakt te hebben van hun dienst zit ik meteen aan een abonnement van 50,- vast. Deze automatische incasso is niet te blokkeren bij Paypal. Dit bedrijf adviseert me contact op te nemen mat DPF-Guru. DPF-guru gaf aan dat hun beleid is dat bij eenmalige aankoop automatisch een abonnement volgt binnen -1- week. Dat staat in hun voorwaarden. Dit strookt niet met de EU regels. DPF-guru is binnen de EU gevestigd (Cyprus). Na een mail wisseling enun aan het einde een officiële klacht wegens het niet volgen van EU verplichte regels krijg ik het bericht dat het abonnement is geannuleerd (eerst nog een gereduceerd abonnement aangeboden: geweigerd en volledige stopzetten gevorderd inclusief terugboeken van het bedrag. En nu gaat het volgende gebeuren ! Het bedrag is overgemaakt naar PayPal. Is door Paypal bevestigd. Na 1 uur is dat bedrag weer weg. "automatische incasso"??. Dit nadat ik bij Paypal al een blokkade had ingesteld. Maar dat schijnt een paar dagen te duren. Intussen wijs geworden: al mijn geld bij Paypal teruggezet naar eigen rekening andere bank. En automatische incasso eigen bank voor paypal geblokkeerd. DPF-guru zet weer een automatische incasso bij paypal. Dit ondanks de blokkade bij Paypal en de toezegging dat het abonnement geannuleerd is. !!!!!!. De volgende dag is weer een automatische incasso ingesteld bij Paypal door PDF-guru. Helaas voor hen staat daar geen geld meer op.!!. Paypal geft aan dat er een automatische incasso geweigerd is vanwege het saldo. NIET door de blokkade en wil de reden daarvan weten. (staat bij hen in de mailwisseling) Kortom: DPF-guru: aparte manier van zaken doen. Eigen toezeggingen niet nakomen en blijven proberen zg abonnementsgeld te innen. Dit wordt mogelijk een zaak voor de rechtsbijstand !

I paid for a 7 day trial on May 9 2026 for the amount of $2.88 then was charged again a week later for $72.96 without my authorisation. When I emailed my complaint they simply hide behind their “policy”.
The product is rubbish anyway - the converted file could not be used as it was illegible!

I paid for what I thought was a one-off trial then found I was trapped in a subscription when I found a charge of over £50 on my credit card. I complained so they cancelled my account and now I can't even get my £50 worth! AVOID

Very scammy automatical renewal after you used it once...

This pdfguru tool and website has very dishonest business conduct. Here is how they get you (or my daughter, in this case). They pay to be ranked high in a search result (quick pdf conversion is highly sought-after feature for today's students and office workers), they have a decent-looking website and features that any pdf tools offer, and they DO NOT display any pricing on their website!!

So you use them, thinking it is going to be free or a small cost, and be greeted with a trial option at a very small charge ($1?). BUT, underneath the payment options, there they have very small text stating if you don't cancel before 24 hrs of your "renewal" time, you will be charged $49 dollars per month!! The fact that you have to cancel before 24 hrs effectively make your "free trial" only 6 days, NOT 7!! Then, because there was NO big pricing display, you tend to neglict and forget what this is, and how much it will charge you. Then at least, a month goes by, and you are charged $50. Then you found out with your credt card bill, and you to cancel. At least now they get your money for 1 month. Worse case, monthly charge goes unnoticed for months to come, in my case where my daughter used my card info and I was not warned..Anyway. use don't use this website and its tool. Google PDF24 instead, completely free, online, and works really well!

I'm assuming that I'm rating Trustpilot not the company pdfguru. One week after I used pdfguru to compress an important document at a cost of £1.99 my PayPal account was charged an additional £49.99! PayPal sent me an email telling me about the additional charge. I checked on line to see if pdfguru is a scam and found several warnings of the dodgy activities of this company. I reacted within a day through PayPal that recommended that I contact Pdfguru requesting an immediate refund. I have done that and have received an almost immediate full refund. Thank you Trustpilot for the warning!

Why would you charge for basic PDF tools that you can find in any other app or just adobe acrobat, i used PDFgear a free app to split a pdf try it instead of this scam app
