I contact MCG to help with securing a Receptionist/administrator on a short term basis from my 1st initial contact with the company they have been very professional and kept me up to date with everything throughout. I would recommend them

Getting ridiculous amounts of calls from this company from loads of different numbers, asked them yesterday to take my details off their database but still received a call today!! This one was extremely rude and when i told her to stop calling me she responded with "don't tell me what to do, i am calling you"

absolutely shocking service by a extremely rude man called joel who tried to speak down to me on a call then tried to ring every office in the country to complain but all offices just rang out voice mail was also full i suggest someone else handles phone calls because Joel was awfull

My agent(Bailey) was very helpful, and was there when I needed him . Worth to recommendation.

I have worked in construction for 35 years and have only today had the misfortune to come across this organisation.
Now I have never worked for them or know any of the company owners personally but they really need to get a grip on their office staff who deal with recruitment.
The consultant I had the pleasure of dealing with was an individual by the name of Bailey West. I urge anyone who has any contact with him to beware.
Incredibly rude manner and likes to mock job seekers.
This guy really needs some basic customer service training before he damages the company any further.
Should anyone from the board of directors want to question me with regards to my comments I would be delighted to clarify my review in more detail.

I want to be contacted by UK trustpilot administrator if for any reason you reject my review against this company. I was working for MCG construction one day in a Wates site here in Ipswich on 14th June 2022. Job wich I applied for it was Traffic Marshall! I was contacted by MCG construction by phone and I was talked to them on watssapp after. They said to me that i will have to perform some labourer duties , when I asked what labourer duties they said to me that I will have to manage deliveries , to bring all the staff in the right place on site. I was on site there on 14th June morning I was asked what for job I came for and I said to Wates site manager that I came as Traffic Marshall , after 1 hour on site they asked me to hoovering floors and later on to sweeping floors and to carry on heavy scaffold metal post from one floor to the other floor on the stairs. I was worked until the end of that day, I signed out at the end of the day using my finger print! I m sure MCG knew before to send me there what they will ask me to do but they didn't told me! And now 30th June I m still waiting to receive my money for that day wich I worked one site there on 14th June, MCG recognised that they owed my one day to pay but without any good reason they still not payd up me ! I m looking to bring them to the court if in worse case payment is not done tommorow as they promised but even If they will pay me I want to telling others guys to be aware , to do not working for them! My I filled up on they're website all my details correct and I not been requested by them to fill up anything else until Wednesday this week when me I asked them to give me the payroll company phone number. I was on the phone with the payroll company yesterday 29th June and they confirmed to me even trough one email wich I received today morning thar MCG not yet sent my hours to them , my hours wich I worked on 14th June. AVOID THIS company at all , Indeed rejected my review without any explanation despite i told them that I have suitable proofs and I assume in front of the law everything I wrote!

Terrible got ripped off for my wages had to chase them for 2 weeks don't work for them really bad company

And as always got passed around different consultants who didn't know what was going on on site....did the Thursday night shift and went in Friday only to be told I wasn't needed but was asked to stay anyway by a weekend night shift manager who only seemed to want to goto the pub, anyway I didn't get paid for the hours I worked and when I enguired I was told the contractor paid us at 7 in the evening on the following Friday???? Still not been paid and I'm literally left with no money..... Don't thing some people realise how much inconvenience it causes when you get 4kd about.

23rd March 2021.
I was contacted by Dan Moss OF MCG CONSTRUCTION , not sure which branch, and asked me to work the next day, we discussed pay and I agreed. The following is a statement of truth, I am hoping someone can help me as Dan Moss is ignoring me.

Telephone call from Dan Moss, MCG Construction want me to work short notice (tomorrow) okay, I will, How much do I get paid? £150 a day.

I do the job, work 9 hrs a day less 1 hour for lunch and wait a week to get paid.

I get paid for 7hrs a day, that's more than a £100 less than I should have been paid..

AFTER MANY PHONE CALLS (not answered) EMAILS AND TEXTS, I GET NO WHERE. I HAVE PROOF THAT I WORKED THE HOURS AND NOW I HAVE TO TAKE THE COMPANY TO TRIBUNAL IF HE DOESNT ANSWER MY LATEST TEXT.

I have received my final payment from MCG Construction. It took my writing this review to get it which is really sad, I don't blame the company but I do think Dan Moss needs to be a bit more professional and work on his empathy.
