I had a very good experience a plumber called Sunday was very helpful and kept me up to date with everything that he was doing cleaned up afterwards it was so good getting everything working again.

Explained process clearly and promptly when first called. Unfortunately plumber was unable to attend on the same day but kept updated regularly and plumber came 1st thing the next day - on a Sunday morning, fixed problem quickly and excellent communication, saved a stressful situation! Would recommend .

I had a problem with my overflow. And when Albi turned up he diagnosed it within 15 minutes. He didn't have the part on board his van. But went and collected one locally. Got it fitted with some adjustments to the pipework. It was fixed all in an hour! I was very pleased. Albi was polite and knowledgeable. Got the job done and left it clean and tidy. Yes, you pay a premium for the service, but to call in the morning and have someone out the afternoon is great! I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I rang The Local Plumbers and was allocated a plumber quickly who then arrived at our home on the same day as the call. He was very knowledgeable about the problems we were having and explained things clearly to us and gave us a breakdown costing of the job. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and everything then tidied away. We are extremely happy with this service. Also- a very pleasant and friendly chap ! Thankyou.

Only give one star because I had to! THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS DO NOT USE THEM. The plumber they send may be local but they are not, they are in Kent! I was told minimum charge would be an hour and charges were £82.50 + VAT PER HALF HOUR!! but don’t worry most jobs are completed within that hour.
2.5 hours later to replace a valve in the toilet which was worn and the hot tap on the bath had broken inside and may take 2.5 hours to do (just for the tap)so I said don’t worry about that then just set it so
tap is shut and no more water leaking constantly.
Off he went to get to get parts so he could do the job. He had bought a replacement tap ‘as he was there anyway’ and from then on it went downhill. Don’t get me wrong, he did a good job but with rewards to the time we were charged for, we feel like we have been conned and the job was dragged out to use that amount of time.
So, for a new valve in the toilet and a replacement hot tap we were expected to be happy to pay £599!!!
After lots of verbal exchanges ( not all pleasant) he knocked £50 off the bill but we still feel this is an outrageous amount for such a small job.
He phoned head office to tell them we weren’t happy and for them to take payment which is all they were interested in, when I said I wanted to complain he said ok we can deal with that after the payment has been done and he put the phone down when the payment cleared.
ABSOLUTE COWBOYS!!

I received a highly professional and friendly service from Local Plumbers.
It took two days for Dennis the Plumber to come and carry out the work.
Dennis was polite, friendly and courteous.

The service I received was extremely efficient.

I thought the overall cost of the job was extremely reasonable.

I would recommend the company to anyone who is in need of their services.

Be warned these are not what the say they are. They claim not to charge for a call out, but they do as they add it on the bill. Came to my house to fix a leak, put some silicone on a hole and charged over £200, and it did not fix the problem, came back asked for more money............please avoid these at all costs

Made an appointment before 10am. Says same day. Rang us at 4.30 to say couldn't come out. I told them I had turned down local plumbers after the appointment was made. They said they can come out next week but could wait with a leak. Avoid avoid avoid

The plumber was very thorough, efficient and helpful. He had two jobs to complete which he carried out within the hour and with no fuss. He also gave me some helpful advice and things to look out for going forward. I would definitely use again, a great job highly recommended, thank you 👍

Laurance Fox of Purple Property Maintance fixed the tap in our downstairs toilet and replaced the tap on our kitchen sink. He was very polite and explained everything to us. I would recommend him 100%.

Totally unreliable- don’t expect them to turn up! I phoned them at 10am and was promised someone would be with me by 4 or 5pm that day to fix a broken toilet flush. 4.30 pm I got a phone call to say a job had overrun and the earliest they could come was now in 4 days time!! So much for 24/7 service. Broken promises caused me to waste a whole day when I could have been making other arrangements.

the local plumbers is a complete scam we called them out to fix a toilet the man that came out replaced a part that was not needed and said he would be back with the correct part we could not get hold of him and was left without use of a disabled toilet for over a week despite countless calls to this company we had to pay for the part we didn't need was left without use of a toilet and had to pay upfront for the part that was needed the guy turned up today with no part although we had paid for it was in the house 2 minutes and said he he was just going the van to get the right screwdriver and he never came back we checked the toilet and all he had done was turned the water supply back on and left so they have ripped us off and left us without a toilet for over a week and the part was never needed after ringing the company all you get is you have to officially put a complaint in writing absolute cowboy company do not use this company this has cost 226.00 for a minor plumbing job this company isn't even local there based in kent and won't take any responsibility for the scammers they send
