i paid for next working day delivery but no parcel turned up not one update or reply i still have no parcel if you don’t like bad language don’t have poor service

2 weeks. No product delivered. Never contacted by the company. No email received. No tracking number.
No response to emails and their phone number doesn't work. Is this company a SCAM?

I'm still waiting for my delivery (of a ceramic uplighter) a month after ordering. As numerous others have found, the phone line doesn't work, and I have received no acknowledgement or reply to my email a fortnight ago. Not sure how to reclaim the cost of my order. Even if it turns up in the end, I'll never order from this company again.
Updated comment: surprise, surprise. The day after I posted this review, I had a notification from The Lighting Centre that my order was being despatched. It duly arrived a few days later – nice product, as described. The Lighting Centre included on the delivery note a request for me to leave a 5 star review, which I think is a bit cheeky and I don't feel like complying, as although I am pleased with the product, their customer service deserves no stars.

Hugely disappointed and annoyed at this company. Placed an order that I need quickly. It stated 2-3 days. This is a complete lie. I have received no correspondence and have tried calling, the phone lines don’t work. Alarm bells! Live chat, doesn’t work! And I’ve emailed 3 times with no response. An absolute farce and terrible customer service. Lighting centre if you bother to read these reviews, please get back re order #3000022884 asap.

The website is easy to use, previous products have been very well packaged and my Macy IP44 ceiling light looks fantastic.

Online purchase made easy and received product quickly and on time. Product looks good.

Ordered 2 specialist light bulbs last year and for some reason 1 stopped working over 3 weeks ago. I have tried calling (there's an ongoing problem with their phone line), emailing, messaging via Instagram and using their online bot (which doesn't work either) and not a single response. I know it's a small value item, however, it is proof that this company has no customer service and does not adhere to the 12 warranty on this product.

AVOID! Ordered an item on 16/5/25 which states delivery in 2-3 working days. Money taken from my account but item still not dispatched. Telephone number doesn’t work/is out of action when telephoning. I have emailed twice and no response/reply. Will be raising a dispute with my bank.

To be honest I was about to raise a dispute with my bank and writing a poor review after not received my order after 2 weeks.
To be fair, The Lighting Centre came to my rescue after needing to replace a handmade glass shade for my light fitting...there aren't many stockists about let me assure you !! So on the whole a big thank you and I would certainly use your services agsin...But please improve the communications aspect of your business... it really let's you down !!

My first order I got wrong, as the similarities to me shown on the website I mistook and added the wrong one to the basket.After emailing sales to check I then reordering I received in good time my replacement bulb, one that is not easy to find in my area. Would use Thelightcentre again.

Scam company as far as i'm concerned, ordered some lightbulbs with next day delivery - they've not turned up over a month later. No response from any communication channel - phone, email or chat and have resorted to claiming a chargeback through my bank.

The lamp I bought looks great and the style is great value for money. However the pull cord chain broke on the second use. There is a switch on the cable so not a major problem. My main concern is the polystyrene packaging. It breaks into tiny balls and got everywhere. I’m happy with the product but recommend a review of the packaging.

Very poor customer service – avoid!
I returned two wall lights to The Lighting Centre over four weeks ago and have yet to receive any refund or even an acknowledgment. I’ve emailed three times and had no response at all. It’s incredibly frustrating to be completely ignored after sending items back in good faith. Would not recommend, shop elsewhere if you want decent service and communication.

We ordered, got the order confirmation but no order arrived. It's been 2 weeks now and the order stated it would take 2-3 working days.

The phone number they have isn't working and the chat function on the website doesn't even reply.
They don't answer emails. So it really is a scam. Don't order there.

Ordered on the 17th April, nothing arrived, got intouch and said a refund will be issued. Still waiting, emailed and no response

Ordered on the 14th April. Advised delivery within 2 working days. Now its the 28th April and still no order. Phone lines not working due to technical difficulties and nobody responding to webchat. Take your money, dont send goods and no way to contact. Do not touch the company with a barge pole

Good service and safe expected delivery of a hard to find product..

I ordered two lamp shades on 31st March, 2-3 days delivery. Nothing received after a week. Phones are not working 'due to technical problems'. Did manage to get an answer via live chat to say they would chase with supplier as coming directly from them. No email as promised but managed to contact again eventually via live chat and was told Wednesday or Thursday. Nada! Can't contact still by phone and no further luck with live chat. I requested a refund, no response. Will now have to wait 30 days to request a 'chargeback' payment from my credit card company. On their contact us page they're still citing 'due to covid' as a cause for staffing numbers!! Just hopeless. 16/4/25, the lamp shades eventually arrived today but won't fit because bulb apertures much too big for my lamps. Apertures were 40 m/m and mine , which are standard, require 27m/m. This dimension did not appear on the product information.
