We used The Leisure Buyer to sell our caravan recently and were really pleased with the service. The response to my original enquiry was very fast and arranging collection was quick and easy. Jon, who picked our van up, was flexible, answered any questions we had and arrived when he said he would for collection. The van was inspected thoroughly before driving away, payment was instant and the settlement fee what we agreed originally - would definitely recommend- thank you!

Sold my Bailey unicorn to this company and they were extremely efficient. Made an offer initially which beat the other 3 I had previously had from the main dealers.

Was hesitant to go with this company after reading some reviews, however they were extremely accommodating and worked around us.

A lovely young man came out to assess our van independently on behalf of the leisure buyer and was extremely helpful during the process. He assessed the whole van and found a few spots on moisture in the floor around the wheel arches. We were aware about the moisture but didn’t think it would affect the value at all however the company revised their offer only ever so slightly under the original. We called a local repair company to get a quote to make sure it was a fair offer. They reassured us that the cost of repair would be more then the price they revised their offer by!

Overall an efficient and pleasant process.

Would highly recommend and do not go off other people’s reviews that seem to not really understand that issues cost money.

Sold within 48 hrs. I had been let down by 4 other company’s that didn’t even get back to me.so all in all great service very efficient.would recomend.

Says highly competitive offers.. £500 for a caravan worth £2.5-£3k easily. And they actually said £500 was highly competitive in the email. If you want to sell your caravan, I would suggest doing it privately and it taking more time to get a decent offer!

Received an offer from this company that was £1500 less than I had been told was the book price, but decided to accept it rather than paying any more site fees. The man came out to assess van and told me there was significant damp - 100% in some places and knocked £3500 off the offer. He was very plausible and stupidly I thought honest, he said he didn’t work for the company so was just assessing. All lies, have just seen my van advised on Facebook priced above market value. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY THEY ARE ROBBERS. I would have given a minus score if this website allowed

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I should have noticed red flags when I was not able to contact the company by email or phone. They initially offered me a reasonable amount for my RV and when I accepted this, the driver phoned me to arrange collection. The day before he was due to come, he cancelled and we rearranged for a few days later. Half an hour before the time he was due he messaged (not phoned) me that he could not come, because the RV has no MOT and he can't drive it, but it clearly states on their website that they DO COLLECT such vehicles and I made it perfectly clear what I was selling. I then tried to phone the driver back, but again, got the cold shoulder and only the answerphone.... DO NOT CONSIDER SELLING TO THIS COMPANY

Made an appointment with this company to meet at a caravan storage arena as this was a hour and a half from my location I said to them if you are unable to attend advise the day Before to save me a wasted trip guess what these TIME WASTERS!!!!phoned within an hour of the appointment time on the Day with some lame excuse DISRESPECT!!!!! give this outfit a Wide Berth

I use trustpilot a lot so thought I would write these guys a review as I see a lot of negative comments and going off my experience I wouldnt hesitate to recommend and trust them, especially when dealing with high value vehicles.

(1) The guys at theleisurebuyer replied to my initial enquiry within 24 hrs (none of the other 2 did).

(2) Valued my Campervan at a more than fair price considering I was using a broker (yes I would have probably got more selling privately but didnt want the hassle)

(3) When visited to assess and buy van they found 2 genuine points that I was aware of and yes they did reduce the offer price. Their counter-offer was under what I was prepared to take but they did negotiate and I 100% believe offered a fair final valuation in the end.

(4) Finance paid off directly by theleisurebuyer and balance in my bank account before they took the vehicle.

Overall cannot fault their service. Even though the say they dont haggle, I don't see how people cant expect this as they don't initially view the vehicle.

Would definatley recommend. Just wanted to post this as I was initially very wary (as of other companies), but they are great to deal with.

I wish I had read the reviews!! Be careful of these people, they made me a decent offer on a 1 year old 6 thousand mile as new camper van, but then they missed two appointments to collect and when they did arrive they got a damp meter out and said it wanted loads of work, (odd that it had just had a dealer habitation survey which didn't show any damp). Then they make an insult of any offer. Quite rude and very unprofessional people, be careful.

I was very worried after reading the reviews. However, I would just like to say that I needn’t have worried. I sold my caravan today and Joe came to collect it. The service was excellent and I was paid what I was quoted. I would highly recommend this company and would encourage those that have sold to leave a review so new customers aren’t put off (like I was and I nearly cancelled) by the negative reviews. Thanks Joe it was a pleasure speaking to you today.

Absolute joke of a company please avoid if possible. Rip you off when they view your caravan and knock you down to silly money to maximise their profit and take the micky out of innocent people during this recession and difficult times. Let’s get them out of business asap ?

They don't even have the decency to reply.
I sent an online quote, emailed my photos (email address didn't even work) so sent via WhatsApp instead, they've recieved and seen but no reply over 2 weeks later.

I would give this only half a star if I could as the only positive was speed of response. Do not waste your time. Quoted £500 to buy a caravan worth at least £3500 time and time again on eBay. They disgust me.
