We aim to create a one-stop shop where useful gifts for cancer and other critical ill patients are available. Where thoughtful and meaningful gifts, especially curated for loved ones facing physical or mental challenges have been researched and sourced. We prioritize working with local suppliers, many who have faced their own health challenges. As a result, their products come from a genuine place of care and understanding. Some of our collections are designed to uplift spirits for those who find solace in humor. We offer a lighthearted approach to facing life’s toughest moments, because sometimes, laughter really is the best medicine. For those who aren't afraid to confront the 'elephant in the room,' we offer the opportunity, to give it the proverbially two fingers! We also haven’t forgotten the incredible caregivers. Whether they’re medical professionals, friends, or family members, whose support often goes unnoticed. The ripple effects of one person's illness can reach far and wide. Recognizing that each journey is unique, we’d love to hear about anything that has helped you along your path. Your stories and suggestions could inspire and assist others traveling a similar road.

Roisin was so helpful
Roisin was so helpful. I received an email very soon after I completed my online order confirming availability of items I ordered including requested flavours/colour, etc. I ordered late in afternoon and she was able to post the order on the same day with further email confirmation of postage and a photo of the completed order. She was so helpful and very friendly in her emails. Great service and some beautiful natural products to choose from.

I had a fantastic experience with The Elephant in the Room in Co. Cork. When I called, I spoke with a lovely lady named Róisín, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. She took the time to answer all my questions and made the whole process so easy. It’s rare these days to find such warm and attentive customer service. I’ll definitely be recommending this gift shop to friends and family — they really go above and beyond! Helena in Australia
