It is one year since Craig and the team installed Solar panels and Sigenergy battery with gateway. The install and system has worked brilliantly and delivered real £1700 savings. Craig's recommendation of solar and batteries and configuration of strings really worked for us and our needs. Well done. Highly recommended.

Matt and Peter recently installed several LED lights and a Pendant light They were professional, friendly and took great care with the installation.
Would highly recommend The Electrical Group and they will be my 'Go to" if i need and electrical work to be done in the future.

Craig fitted our 3rd battery and sorted out various dampness issues and hardwiring our inverter to home router. He came out several times and gave us useful advice. Always responded to WhatsApp messages promptly. A pleasure doing business with him.

We have solar, a home battery and a car charger. When charging the car, the home battery would drain; we needed a solution. The Electrical Group came and sorted it, rewiring. The whole process was just over an hour, and it's been working amazingly well ever since. Neat, Tidy, Friendly and so helpful. They also turned up a day after calling them. Thank you so much, boys.

We recently had a solar system installed by The Electrical Group, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Although it was a type of system they hadn’t installed before, the team handled it with complete confidence and professionalism.

Craig was especially impressive—extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly committed to doing things right. The team arrived exactly when they said they would and worked efficiently and with great attention to detail.

The entire system was up and running in just 3 days, and the results have been excellent. They went above and beyond to deliver a smooth, stress-free installation.

The infrared panels were fixed on the ceilings without difficulty, however this was the easy bit. I was most impressed by the way they planned and installed the wiring in this ancient stone cottage. This now looks very discrete with almost invisible trunking. In addition, Craig also reorganised the wiring from economy 7 to standard tariff and also removed and disposed of the old storage heaters. I was also impressed by the lengthy testing of the system at the end of the work. Craig is both very knowledgeable and professional, but is so very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending The Electrical Group. They minimised the inevitable disruption and left my house very clean and tidy. I am so grateful for the work carried out by Craig and Harley and the new heating system works well, and is vastly superior to the previous one. Thank you!

Working with TEG was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Craig’s knowledge is superb and quality of the work was also excellent.

Craig's installation of panels, solaredge battery and inverter was fantastic. From initial engagement we discussed options, pros and cons and he explained the technology better than anyone had previously. Work was conducted professionally and everything left immaculate. Craig and TEG went the extra mile when completing the work. I just need to save up now for more panels, hot water tank and maybe an electric boiler!

The Electrical Group were contacted and requested to quote on our Nedlands home with the work involving meeting current standards and replacing light fittings throughout the home.
The team arrived at the arranged time and all the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Their workmanship was extremely neat and tidy and the team of four worked in conjunction with other trades present at the same time.

Despite TEG's positive reputation, we were left disappointed after choosing them to install a Tesla PW1 for us. The overall experience fell far short of our expectations, to the extent that I cannot in good conscience recommend their services. Here are the key grievances from my perspective as a customer:

The final bill ended up being a staggering 54% higher than the initially quoted price, a discrepancy that was never discussed or agreed upon during the course of the work.

Throughout the installation process, TEG encountered numerous issues that necessitated troubleshooting. While TEG deemed these issues as roadblocks, it was ultimately up to us to resolve them in order to allow the job to progress. Without our continuous efforts to contact Tesla support, SolarEdge support, and scour various online forums for solutions, i fear the installation would not have been completed.

The appearance of the final installation left much to be desired. There were signs of unfinished workmanship, such as a panel hanging off the bottom of the unit, uneven and poorly executed cable trunking, cables left slack and dangling, and an overall lack of attention to detail.

In summary, our experience with TEG's Tesla Powerwall installation service was marred by unexpected costs, unresolved issues, and subpar workmanship. As a result, I cannot recommend their services to others who may be considering similar projects.

They did complete the install.
Final bill was negotaited and settled upon which
TEG confirmed they would no longer support us as a customer.

Ironically TEGs website focuses on a market leading 10 year warranty aganinst 'installation' and because we challenged their 'surprise' of a final bill, support was withdrawn instantly

Shortly after, our install was reviewed by a third party inspector and as a result completely rewired by a different company.

Maybe I just happened to have bad luck this time, or perhaps a Tesla installation was simply beyond their expertise?

Highly recommend. Craig really knows what he is doing, answered loads of questions & designed and adapted the best plan for our house. We've even got panels delivering a good return on parts of the roof other companies said weren't viable. Really tidy job of the indoor wiring and helped us get set up to the export tariff quickly too.

The Electrical Group were very patient with all my questions. They provided quotes for a few different options this helped me decide which system would suit our needs best. The install is excellent. Lots of companies were quoting with a 5kw battery but we went with 10kw. Our 5.53kw system so far has produced 3.25mwh since the end of April and combining with a suitable tariff we are very happy. We hope to add more panels to our system to help offset a family member’s commute.

The Electrical Group handled the installation of our solar panel and battery installations expertly. We had a huge issue with the battery, which eventually needed to be replaced. Craig has been immensely helpful in this process and he has travelled almost daily to our home to try to sort out the issue. After the battery change, we had no further issues. Lately, Craig has been helpful in setting up the appropriate charging times for the battery as we moved to a new energy supplier.

Craig and the TEG team did a great job of our solar installation in December 2022. From the initial quote Craig was friendly and knowledgable and happy to go through the detail and answer any questions - I work in IT and am very tech savvy, and it was obvious from day one that Craig knows his stuff and wants the job done properly.

From handling the G99 apllication and paperwork, and the installation, all went well and the system has been performing excellently since.

TEG's after sales service is also excellent - we are in a new build house had issues with our roof, which turned out to be a fault with the builders and nothing to do with the solar install, but the support received from Craig and the TEG team was fantastic - helping where needed to support the builders, removing panels so that the builders could do their investigation work and very patient getting it resolved and the panels back in place.

I would 100% recommend TEG for your solar install - you know it will be done right and you will be looked after.

We had infrared panels installed in June 2021. Since then the price of electricity has rocketed and our plan to heat our home solely with the panels has had to be put on hold. The panels provide excellent heating, particularly in the smaller rooms where only occasional heating is required and in this scenario they work very well. In the larger living rooms they would work fine but at a cost. We have therefore retained our log burner to heat these rooms and because we have our own wood this is the most cost effective solution. The panels would certainly do the job and if you have to pay for the wood or another source of fuel they might make financial sense especially if you were to install a solar system. This brings me neatly to my second point. Craig has recently installed a solar system for us. We hope this will make us self sufficient for power for at least 6 months of the year and help with the costs in the remaining 6. Time will tell and of course is dependent on weather and electricity prices. As expected the install was carried out very well and to a high standard and so far the system is performing excellently.

Recently had a solar and battery system fitted by Craig at the electrical group. Met him a couple of times before to go through all my questions, he has been helpful from the start. A couple of issues with the battery were sorted by Craig. After care has been great. Highly recommended.
