I recently rented a car from CarHauler and had a fantastic experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward, and the staff was professional, courteous, and very helpful. The car was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described.

Never came through, despite over a month notice. I got a quote 2 months ago for $845 for a one-way transport. About a week before the transport was due I started calling and emailing. I got no answers via email and the phone was disconnected. I kept trying to hail everyone, no answer. The day of the pick up comes and goes, no answers. I finally get assigned a driver. He keeps making excuses, he'll get there, he'll get there. On and on it goes. Two days later, they reach out and quote me $2,400. So it's a no. This van had all our scuba gear, for a sailing trip in Florida. We went on our trip - fine - but without our gear; a trip we'd been planning for over six months, with our kids, and friends. I wouldn't trust them with anything - they couldn't even pick up the phone....for days on end.

thank you for sharing your experience and I am truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you went through. this is not the level of service we aim to provide and I completely understand why you are upset especially with your family trip plans affected
to clarify your situation the original quote was given back in january and by the time of shipment in july the market rates on that route had changed drastically. during that time there were very few drivers available on that lane and the remaining carriers were charging much higher prices. however we fully understand that this should have been communicated to you clearly and early so you were not left waiting or uncertain. poor communication is never acceptable and we take responsibility for that
we did process a full refund on your order because we were not able to secure a carrier at the original quoted rate. again we sincerely apologize for the delay the lack of timely updates and the disconnect in expectations. we are currently improving our process so situations like this do not happen again including faster communication updates and verified driver availability before confirming timelines
we appreciate your feedback and wish you safe travels in the future even if you choose not to work with us again. your review helps us improve and do better for our customers going forward
