Deceptive practices and damaging to SEO
Our experience with The Ad Firm was not only disappointing, it was damaging. Despite having a signed agreement with clear terms, they failed to uphold their end of the contract. We were overcharged beyond the agreed scope, with surprise fees added without consent or transparency.
After parting ways, we had our website independently audited and discovered they had been using fake backlinks, a black-hat SEO tactic that severely harmed our search engine rankings and online credibility. This kind of deceptive practice is completely unacceptable from any agency claiming to be a professional marketing partner.
We are extremely relieved to no longer be working with them. I would strongly caution any business considering their services to proceed with extreme care, if at all. What appears to be a strategic partnership may end up costing far more than money and reputational damage.
