The company are easy to contact, very helpful with questions and supply a replacement car.
Communications are clear and keep you posted as to when the car is going to be finished and they finished on time.

Extremely pleased.
My car was booked in here through the insurance company.
They have done a fabulous job on the repair, the car was returned to me having been washed and looks beautiful, the communication was great and their receptionist is lovely, efficient, very helpful and really great to deal with. No idea on cost because it was an insurance repair, but certainly highly recommend them on everything else.

This is from me as a Customer fully expecting a replacement car if things go bad.
Things went bad. We were told that someone would come and look at the car but actually no one did. They took the damage from notes that I had put on their software and photos that I had uploaded. This could be a case of the people we rent the car being different from the people fixing the car.
2 months later we actually got a replacement car? That's a long time to be without a car! We think that they believed the car was drive'able but some kind of plate underneath the car was dropping down and as time went on it dropped lower and lower! Driving that around is just asking for problems and would probably make the issue worse.
Anyway, the web application you log into to see the latest details, order a replacement, etc etc looks really good and could be useful but I don't think the dates that I put down for them to take the car or provide a replacement car was ever met.

What I did work out is that whenever they phoned us up with an update we would also get an email to check the website for the latest updates...which never existed but we had to log on anyway just in case. We appreciated the phone calls though.

By the way the replacement car which we've probably had for two weeks only out of the three months of this car issue was okay, but how you opened the boot I have no idea! We couldn't work out how to turn off the child lock on the back right passenger door either... It was also a petrol car ...I kind of was expecting the replacement car to be a like for like. They took away an electric car and replaced it with a petrol. I mean, there is nothing saying that it would be a like for like but I kind of expected it. The fact that we only had it for a couple of weeks in the three months of no electric car is the worst thing.

The two stars are really for them always being polite, they dropped off the car and picked it up at our locations, and they do try to keep you updated, although calling them back can be a nightmare. However, my expectations are definitely short ...but it might not even be their fault...

The work was done to a high quality and in a timely manner

I will only say what a joke of a company and they had my car 3 months ago.
Fitted my car with not genuine parts and sent it back to me with nothing fitting correctly on the car . There's more but these comments give enogh information to say don't let insurance companies let your car go there .

My car looked brand new

I was kept well informed about when my repair would take place. My car was collected by them and issued with a courtesy car. After the repair was completed I was pleased to find they had done an excellent job. Also they returned my car cleaned inside and out. I thought their service was really good. The staff very helpful I would definitely recommend them

If I could put 0 or a minus value I would! ARH Emsworth are diabolical. Caused so much stress, lied about timings, incompetent at dealing with a brand new car. My car went to them beginning of Dec 2025 and I get it back tomo (end of July 2026)......8mths after the accident - mental! The first repair (if that's what it can be called) took 4-5mths. The first courtesy car they gave me took 7 days to get after the accident and I only got it because I went to get it, because they were short staffed. That car then broke down coming off the motorway with my three young children, in minus degree weather, so they were freezing on the side of the road.

When I received the car back they had stuck bits back on, reused scuffed bits, left it in their warehouse where they weld, so was covered in rust specs, etc. I took it straight to MG, who had no obligation to help but they took over and made sure it got sorted to the correct standard. MG went above and beyond - think they may have a customer for life. The experience with ARH courtesy of FMG / Tesco has been so awful and has led to me being very ill after 8mths of pushing. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! Just so you know regardless of who your insurer uses as their main repairer, under the consumer rights 2015 you can ask to have your car taken to a garage of your choosing. Wish I'd pushed harder, now knowing this.

Taken the stress out of a stressful situation. The guys were not only really friendly and professional, but much to my relief and gratitude, they did a phenomenal job on the repair of my car. AND… they completed the job a week ahead of schedule!

Awful communication, promise of call backs never materialised.
Six different delivery dates, with no explanation, had to do all the calling to find out what was going on.
Surely this was easy to correct, but went on right up to the day before delivery.

They kept me up to date with repair works.
The car was delivered back on time, and the work carried out was to a very high standard. The car looks as good as new.

Staff very helpful and friendly and quick service. My car was taken in for repair as it was damaged by another vehicle when brought back to me one of back lights was broken which I noticed and I wasn’t told this had happened whilst in their workshop or apologised to !!! I noticed a slight dent on side of car which I pointed out when brought back to me which was going to be looked at and when the car was dropped off to me today it wasn’t visable in pictures they took when they first took my car and the guy who brought it back to me told me this and basically said the manager said it wasn’t their problem!!! By the way the so called manager has never had any communication with me let alone to sort things out with me or apologise for damage done whilst car was in their care .

From 1st contact to final completion, found all staff friendly and informative.
The repair was very good, could not find any fault at all. The car was returned in a clean condition.
