Absolutely delighted with my new Symphony kitchen from Cloisters! Their off-the-shelf units offered superb value, and the bespoke cupboards added just the right personal touch and extra storage I was after.

I chose the supply-only route with my own fitter, and everything arrived on schedule, complete, and in perfect condition. Big thanks to Alex and the team for making the whole process so smooth!

I believe this company are also family owned by the Nunn Family along with Cloisters Ltd, St Albans Road, Hemel Hempstead.
Avoid this company or certainly tread very carefully We are currently trying to get our money back through the small claims courts and wish to spare others the pain of our experience. We bought and paid in full for bathroom furniture to be fitted that never materialised. Don't fall for the 4th generational hype of a small local business like we did. In the past it has been important to us to look to small businesses but were naïve on this occasion. We followed their Terms & Conditions to the letter and they have basically stolen our money without any goods or services being given. Certainly we have dealt with Alex Nunn (salesman and presumably son) and Jacqueline Nunn (presumably mother and company secretary. We have tried to contact Colin Nunn, Director, but he constantly Has his "Out of Office "sign posted while he is on site and visiting factories. and has never returned an email or tried to contact us in any way.
Jacqueline Nunn has contacted us twice, agreeing to refund and giving a timeline to do so twice then nothing more! Alex Nunn has emailed us once since we paid in full email using his wedding and other personal problems, as an excuse for non-communication and lack of action. He has since ignored all our efforts to communicate, so much so we feel our only option is the legal route which we have started through the Small Claim Courts. I am not sure how the company that we believe have another branch in High Wycombe has survived and wonder what their true purpose is! Is the renaming of the company an attempt to keep ahead of bad reviews from dissatisfied customers?

Popped in to get some Frenchic paint, but unfortunately, they said they aren’t taking in any new stock otherwise I would buy from them again. I was able to pick up 3 tins of their old stock with a discount. Their showroom is also amazing and full of other things like kitchen appliances and other paint brands.

New carpet! Joe was amazing from start to finish, sorting out our new Adams carpets. The fitter, Glen, was also very professional. 5 stars!

Wallpaper, wallpaper, and more wallpaper! Thank you, Design Hub for helping pick and choose new wallpaper for my house. They had a huge selection of wallpaper books that I could look through. The right lady was very patient with me while my partner and I were arguing about which one to buy. They even put us in touch with someone who could fit it.

BEWARE: This company IS THE SAME as Cloisters Design!!! Read the negative reviews for Cloisters design before you proceed!! They left an exposed gas pipe in our home for over 7 months that could very easily have resulted in an explosion. We only found out because we got a gas safe engineer out ourselves to install our hob 8 months into having no kitchen due to cloisters typical service and he was horrified to see this in our kitchen. It IS being reported as we speak to gas safety regulators! Joe Nunn’s response to this (on email) was extremely unbothered! He said should he ever see the plumber again, he will let him know. This is the typical response you’ll get from the entire family, Joe, Colin, Jacquie and Alex. This family is inconsiderate beyond belief, negligent and simply DO NOT CARE ABOUT their customers. Creating a new company is just a front for all the bad reviews, publicity and financial consequences of how they’ve run Cloisters. They are likely ringfencing the business so they can start afresh because the Cloisters name is so bad! Check out FB posts in local groups about them and be aware that so many people are scared to post about their experience because they are still awaiting completion of their kitchen or legal proceedings, or they are just exhausted from dealing with this company!

Rude abrupt and unprofessional. Wish I had found a company who treated there clients with grace and professionalism.
Need any kind of assistance you get rude insulting responses. Doesn’t deserve to have any customers the way they are treated after paying over £2k on their services.

I purchased some paint for redecorating my bedroom. They gave me very friendly advice on what type of paint would be best to use. The paint then arrived the next day. Very pleased, thank you!

I was really happy to find a supplier of Little Greene paints so close to home. Toby provided excellent advice (and a free sample pot of my chosen colour) and a very efficient delivery service. The paints are expensive, but are fantastic quality and give excellent coverage and a lovely finished result. I would recommend The Design-hub to anyone in the Wycombe/Marlow area.
